That's what you'll look like when you're all grown up~" She'd giggle, raising the Skitty up to let her momentarily acquaint with the false Delcatty- the feline would attempt to knead a couple of biscuits against the plushie's fur, but before long, there were much more things for Alexei to indulge on than the kitty bakery. Meowmeow knew there was endless time to catch up on her backorder of biscuits back at home though, so she'd retract back into the basket when his additional prize was given to him.[break][break]

Desiree could not stop laughing when Alexei picked up the giant jar of jelly beans, both at the sheer size of the container and the complete shock that had overtaken his outward expression. "The magic of plentiful jelly bean.. You could offload them on your partner~! Oh, or all the rangers~! ♡" She would have asked for a handful, but she was quite picky when it came to the art of consumption of jelly beans- all she liked was the pink and the green ones, but even then, the texture was something she could only handle when she was craving.[break][break]

Now at the booth of the ring toss, a cute lil' set of six Dugtrio were bobbing up and down on raised dirt- having been given her rings, she'd toss a couple towards them but to no avail. Though the circumstances were quite different than last time she'd attempted, being that she was in a heated discussion with her friend Matias, it was still just as hard to nail the hand-eye coordination!

Stopping throwing the rings that rested within her palms at the mark of Alexei's words, her companion Skitty reached up with grabby lil' arms in an attempt to touch the Delcatty plush. "No way~! That's so sweet of you, thank you!" Desiree joyously exclaimed, shamelessly plucking the stuffed animal from the gym leader's hands and placing it in the basket. Beginning to knead the edge of the soft material to make biscuits with her toe beans, Meowmeow made the perfect little indent to snuggle up in; it was just so big in comparison to her, it was almost like a bed![break][break]

What a kind gesture! She felt kind of bad that there was nothing she could give in exchange at first, but when Alexei remarked that it was payment for the signing, it all clicked. "Oh, you're right! You totally didn't have to, being able to sign is a gift in itself~" Her words floated out warmly alongside the smoke of her cigarette, picking up the rest of the rings to continue throwing 'em. Who knows how many prizes the two could rack up in one day! It was true- signing events were a labor of love, but one every now and then was just as sweet.[break][break]

Continuing to throw the rings until there were none left, Desiree laughed as she tried to race Alexei to see who threw the most first. It was so fun having such a peaceful leisure with a new friend, and with each moment she cheered for what was yet to come! Though, based on the dangers that lurked in the Hoennian landscape, she figured that this was perhaps the peace before the storm; it felt so lighthearted, the paranoia that resided deep inside the pinkette flickered at the idea that these moments so sweet would be fleeting. She hoped that wasn't the case, she truly hoped.[break][break]

But that was the gamble of life, living effervescently in the moment and not allowing the fear of the future to consume you.
