GARDEN CARETAKER
Glistening in the sunlight pouring down from the greenhouse's ceiling, CHERUB the shiny Cherrim adores nothing more than taking care of his plant babies with his bedazzled psyduck pail. Typically finding himself sitting on a tall stool with the pail, he uses a sliced-in-half piece of split bamboo to make little waterfalls to the growing plots. It's his favorite thing to do, other than cuddling with each of the sprouts. His natural ability 'Chlorophyll' certainly comes in handy with the natural chemistry between the two, bringing fruitful harvests.

Time was something that could grant new sprouts life, and with that, Desiree did not see the harm in letting a little creature trot inside with a wish of a plentiful feast. A concept that she could not bear to be fickle, not anymore. Laying in the blades of grass lit by the overbearing sun shining through a dome of stained glass, she stretched as she watched the rodent skitter across- only to see it smacked in its tracks by a fallen berry of the last strawberry harvest.[break][break]

The dazzling cherry blossom, Cherub, did not find intruders to its grand scheme endearing. As it watched the Pawmo guzzle the berry down, it delicately danced through the winds downward to greet the wild pokemon with bitter pleasantries; a warning for it not to proceed further, a single offering. Yet, as it was ultimately unfamiliar with the prowess of a 'graceful' attitude, it went barreling into the bushes to exact its gluttonous fury.[break][break]

Cherub exclaimed for only the birds and the bees to hear, haphazardly diving head first into the clump of berry bushes with the channeling of mystical delight. Temporary blossoms of tulips and hydrangea appeared in the cracks sunlight would pour in through, a FLOWER SHIELD. Which, combined with a freakish plea to the universe to save all of its plant babies with a LEECH SEED, seemed enough to freeze the Pawmo in its tracks. Slamming its blooming petals against the side of the overstimulated pokemon, it tried its damn best to get it out of the fragile flora. An ARM THRUST pattered, but the feeling of plant-baby-fear let it shake it off for now.[break][break]

As she wanted to use the visit to the greenhouse as an excuse to relax, to treat herself to the beautiful acquaintance with her roots, a bit of laziness led her to watch and take it all in. A flick of her hand brought a pokeball to roll in the Pawmo's direction, bringing the panic of the Cherrim to subside- for now.[break][break]

Moments like these made life worth living- something to fight to preserve, as past the bad were fields of flowers with goodness taking the form of bright pollen. She could only hope.
