Shalin, after hearing word of a Space-Time Distortion in the big city, couldn't get there fast enough. She, too, had been to enough of them to infer a correlation between her oversized Pokémon and the distortions, though confirmation bias kept her from realizing that correlation did not imply causation. With the League's top scientists tied up with the rifts and researching Dynergy, this would require original research.

Shalin rode Rielle to the site of the distortion, Dolana the Eevee mentally harnessed to Starr's back. Her Eeveelutions bravely entered the distortion. Faster than the explorer could react, a Gengar appeared out of nowhere, sticking its tongue out at Starr before disappearing. Seconds later, it reappeared and ambushed the Espeon from behind, deadly PHANTOM FORCE dropping the psychic-type with a single blow.

Launched from the Espeon's back, Dolana grew angry. The defiant Eevee began glowing a bright white, lighting up the Distortion's dark and lightning-filled sky. Taking the form of a glowing Umbreon, she lunged at the Gengar, being a COPYCAT and disappearing into the ether herself. The borrowed PHANTOM FORCE cracked the Gengar's soul gem enough to cause the ghostly giant to disappear.

NOTE: Evolving a gacha Eevee to Umbreon.

What he sees beyond the distortion is just a burning memory. Himself, alone, riding through the fields of Galar. A Pale Rider in an open field. Poisoned hands, poisoned Pokemon, monsters from beyond imagination, he grappled with them all. Standing amidst the swirling distortion clad in his sygna suit, he does battle with the horrors that spill forth from another realm. Fighting is all he knows how to do.[break][break]
No matter what name he wears, Michael, Navy, or Lord Navidson, he does his task beautifully. Vortigern’s jaws sink into the flesh of monsters. Shuwen’s fists send them back into the rift. Somewhere along the way, he catches some Pokemon. His Eevee evolves. Overall, when the distortion finally passes in Slateport, he sighs with relief. Another battle well fought. Another step on the warrior’s road.[break][break]
It's only when he stops at a gas station afterwards that he sees something is different. Washing his hands in the bathroom, he sees another man looking at him in the mirror. It’s like six years passed in the blink of an eye.

More and more crazy things have been happen around Hoenn. First was the events in from the fake Galar she was still reeling over and now it was the Space-time Distortion slateport city. Something always happenings for one reason or another. This time however she was ready to face the challenge head on with her. [break][break]

Disguised to keep a very lowkey profile in this Team Rocket filled city she abandoned warehouse. The moment she stepped into the distortion her stomach started turning however it was a small piece to pay for what she saw. This was unlike anything she never seen before. She stuck a endless void of purple. Even a bit worst there were a crazy amount of hisuian pokemon and a lot were aggressive and even attack. [break][break][break] But again, she was ready for things like this time. It took a while to put a bent into their numbers but the end Adel's entire team was exhausted and one of the newest additions had evolved. Her wonderful Togetic was now a Togekiss and she couldn't be more happy with that. Finally it seems the distortion had came to end, Adel simply slipped away from before notice.
