Yes, thought Zev as he tasted the acidic madness on his tongue once more, as the memory of Necrozma's agony and hate swept through his body.[break][break]

Zev heard Tempest's words, but they were like the buzz of insects communicating about food to the hive. His response taken at face value, the observation that seemed profound—everything about Tempest seemed so distant in that moment. So small.[break][break]

What did a human know about peace and quiet? What did a human know about suffering?[break][break]

"That's fine," Zev said, returning to the present moment slowly, as if he'd momentarily lost sight of it in the vast gulf of time and space.[break][break]
