[attr="class","inner-finally"]She really should have seen this coming. After all, it's Navy that she's talking about. Following the pattern of awful goofs and gaffs, the humiliation of a pie to the face is the last straw that breaks the Camerupt's back.[break][break]

Some resort to swearing colourful words that she's heard many times in passing. Others shake their fist and start looking for remnants of pie to throw at Navy. But one remains out of her range of sight, pulling something rather small from his pocket.[break][break]

Something pricks at her shoulder, earning a sharp yelp as she clutches at the spot. When she lifts her palm, all that's left is a thin needle barely sticking from her skin. Hissing, she grits her teeth, plucking it out and rolling it between her fingers. Blood stains the tip of the needle, begins to well up as a pitifully small dot.[break][break]

Hattori is a creature blessed with a dark nature. Though he serves in the light, the shadows grant him eyes to see. When the needle pricks Eris, he grows wroth. Skipping across the granite rocks, he jumps to the Rocket who threw that needle. A brick break slams the human down in one blow. Rarely does this Pokemon exude his power, but Rocket has given him an occasion to do so.[break][break]
“Hattori, what’s got into you?” The sheriff asks, not yet understanding what’s happening. Instead, he grins at the Rockets. “You guys gonna surrender yet?” And, many of them do. They throw down their pokeballs, accepting defeat. A man and a young girl have made fools of them.[break][break]
“Eris!” Too late does he notice what’s wrong, and it sends him running towards her.

She doesn't feel it until she finds her knees buckling beneath her, her breaths short, sharp as her gaze falls upon the scarred back of her Salamence. Her palms feel clammy and she shivers, choking on a breath and coughing as she tries desperately to recover.[break][break]

Teostra begins to rear up, roaring as slitted eyes lock onto the unconscious man. But a brisk chirp from the pixie causes him to still, purple fumes still rolling from the corners of his maws. Instead, he glides closer to Navy with Eris precariously balanced on his back, growling at him with an expectant look.

Fafnir, his other dragon, does not resist when Navy jumps onto his back. He knows better than to resist.[break][break]

“We need to get you to Sullivan.” He says, knowing John Sullivan and Isaac Merlo are the region’s best healers. “And I’ll get Isaac, too. Fafnir shifts them into an ethereal world mere moments before they hit steel. They emerge outside at Dewford general. Navy runs inside, has her seen to, guards her like a Talonflame guarding its chick. Either Isaac or Doug will be there within an hour. The mere mention of Eris will call them, for they too understand one simple truth.[break][break]
If this great Pokemon League cannot even defend one child, then it has truly lost.
