After being discharged out of the hospital for recovery from emergency surgery for her cracked ribs in late Novermber, her deep gash from the Raticate’s Bite had healed off so that a scar remained on her left arm. The royal ambassador gets herself dressed for the trip to the safari zone as her male Vulpix follows the royal along the snowy trail. Though Elise couldn’t stop thinking on the psychological warfare the masked Rocket lady gave her, there will be no time for distractions.[break][break]

Shun was happy to accompany his trainer along the snow falling from the grey sky. He plays around in the snow for a little bit and jumps into a pile…which gets a bit of snow onto the dark blue coat of the princess. A little laugh came from the female royal as she plays with him too. Maybe after this trip, she'll need to buy one more Pokeball from the Pokemart to give as a small Christmas gift to one of her friends.

The Vulpix looks over to a waddling Delibird where its appearance is more like a jolly person who is willing to give presents than the Iron Bundle from one of her trips into the Interdream Mist. Shun’s feet leaves footprints as the Delibird brings out a Present and throws it towards the fox. The present that the santa bird gives is a damaging move, but Shun is able to take that damage since he’s wanting to train wiht the Delibird.[break][break]

Shooting out a Flamethrower towards the Delibird, the Vulpix watches the fire knocking out the Delibird. Elise takes out a Dusk Ball from her pack and throws it at the unconscious Delibird to catch it.

A wild Staryu approaches the pair of ambassador and her Vulpix when she picks up the Dusk Ball containing the Delibird for a friend of hers that had a group of those birds. She already has a Starmie on her team, so Shun leaves the Staryu alone in the snow. They continue their walk in the snow when they would come across a little frozen lake in the middle of the woodland they were in.

Through the snowy woodlands, the Vulpix notices a small leafy Pokemon up in between the two taller trees. Shun walks over to check on the wild Pokemon as it turned out to be a wild Burmy. The bug type’s appearance looked like it could be one of the spruce trees around the woods when the ambassador caught up with her little fox. Being asked to be the Burmy’s training partner from the wild Burmy himself, the Kantonian Vulpix takes the offer.[break][break]

Shun’s Flamethrower attack knocks out the Burmy immediately. The royal ambassador takes out a Dusk Ball from her pack and throws it at the unconscious Burmy lying on the ground.

When they had come out of the wooded area, there were wide plains covered in snow. Her Vulpix leads the way into the snowy plains as he sees a wild Pokemon ahead of their walk. Getting closer to the wild Pokemon along with Elise following Shun to see the white colored Pokemon, a wild Galarian Darumaka blinks at the orange fox. Shun yips over at the female ice type that he wants to battle with the Darumaka too.[break][break]

Hearing the little female Darumaka approve of his challenge, she starts with a Headbutt attack which makes the Vulpix take the Headbutt with a small oomph. Recovering from his opponent’s move, he weakens the Galarian Darumaka with Flamethrower as Elise takes a Dusk Ball from her pack to catch the wild Galarian Darumaka.

Continuing on the snowy plains, Shun sees a small whale-like Pokemon jump in the snow. The fox is invited to play with the Cetoddle as he jumps in the snow along with the Cetoddle making an attempt to make its own snow angel. Knowing the species were a docile sort of Pokemon, Elise begins to play along with the Cetoddle and hears the happy cry coming from the small whale Pokemon. Both Pokemon were covered in bits of snow as the male Vulpix was having so much fun that he gets a bit of a surprise from the wild Cetoddle asking him to train with it.[break][break]

Shun starts with Extrasensory as the psychic attack makes the Cetoddle squeal before the wild ice type counters with Ice Spinner. With another Extrasensory from the Vulpix weakening the Cetoddle enough for capture, Elise tosses a Dusk Ball from her pack to catch the wild Cetoddle.
