“SILPH!” A sharp voice cuts through what should have been another meeting. Outside the office, people are shouting. Whoever guards his private sanctuary tells him that he cannot go in there, not while the councilman is in a meeting.[break][break]
He looks awful. Disheveled. His sygna suit sparks from overuse. Blood, sand, and dirt are caked on the suit, not all of it his own.[break][break]
His posture is that of a Garchomp fresh from battle. His breathing is heavy. Someone shouts outside the office.[break][break]

deprave shouting from outside the conference room does not stop his meeting outright. for michael is not the first to intrude upon his domain. nor will he be the last. but when he hears those stationed outside unable to keep him at bay, fernando personally puts a pause on his conference.

“we’ll reschedule for this evening.”

he exits only to look the gym leader up and down. it doesn’t take a second glance to piece together what has happened.

“call for some medical attention,” he says impartially.

his eye narrows in on navidson. his glare tries to pry the story out of him on scrutiny alone.

“UNFORTUNATE.”

which is about all fernando really has to comment on the matter. no matter how broken michael may seem, there is little his words can do to soothe him. which brings the question of why him, but fernando spares him a lick of sympathy. his own berating never leaves the confines of his personal judgements.

“but a job well done, i suppose.”

with his attendant gone to fetch medical help, it leaves the two of them alone. this forces fernando to reach for his phone, busily typing away at a request to follow up where navidson cannot.
