When her opponent for her match up at the arena ended up being Adelaide Whiteley , Elise knows that the other ranger was a lover of fairy type Pokemon. The ambassador takes her place at her side of the arena and when her challenger arrives, she gives her co-worker a wave. “It’s good to see you again, Adelaide. I would hope we can have a good match today.” Though she hasn’t spoken to the other ranger in a while, Elise had entered this tournament to have some fun and it’ll count as training for her partner Pokemon.[break][break]

Floating beside the royal ambassador was her faithful Mismagius, the witch-like ghost starts to laugh quietly to herself. Perhaps Mana herself was feeling a bit excited to see which Pokemon Adelaide had brought as her own partner for this battle.

The was going to be her first time in a long time in a tournament. It made think about to the old what that happened in Galar. Hoenn was indeed different but in a fun way while other times it was very chaotic. She wouldn't trade this joy for the world. Taneisha only seemed to chuckled as the kind gesture. "it's nice to see you again as well, Princess Elise. I hope for the same although I am a bit rather one who the victor will be!"

Mega evolution was going to a key factor in the fight although knew to both ranger and pokemeon. They would give their all to win and come out on top. "Offering the first attack to you. It's only fair do make it count."

One couldn’t decide who would be the victor until there would be one Pokemon left standing in this match though the Pokemon that the other ranger had was a Gardevoir. The elegant looking psychic type Pokemon was capable of mega evolving too. “I will start then. Mana, start with Thunderbolt if you please.” As the Galarian royal spoke her command to her ghost type, her Mismagius lowly cackles and mutters her incantation in readying her spell.[break][break]

Crackling electricity forms in front of the phantasmal witch as the three soul gems over her body glow in shooting out a bolt of electricity heading towards Adelaide’s Gardevoir. “Did you enter your Gardevoir in hopes that you’ll bond with her? I am doing the same with my Mismagius, she has been my faithful friend for a long time.” Elise gives the ranger a little smile when she would make some smaler conversation with the other woman.[break][break]

While it was trust no one could beside the victor, Adel was extremely confident in her partner pokemon. They would overcome anything they would be their way. "My bond with Taneisha is extremely close. Since the days of the false Galar it's only gotten stronger."

The Gardevoir smiled softly her trainer. As she had knew her since she was small the were almost inseparable. "Don't take this lying born avoid that then moonblast." With much graceful the fairy leaped back avoided the thunderbolt. She calmed her break charge ball of energy and launched it at the ghost type. "I have reasons to be in this tournament but mine is show what I made off and to prove my real strenght."

Adelaide’s Gardevoir appeared to have a stronger bond with her trainer ever since their days at the false ‘Galar’. Memories of having vaguely raised adopted children with Alexei Ivanov made the royal feel a sense of sad nostalgia. "I’m happy that the bond between your Gardevoir and yourself is stronger from the events of that ‘Galar’.” Though she didn’t use her Mismagius much in the events of that dreamscape, the ghost had a chance to shine during their investigation into the Blood-Moon Ursaluna in Route 119.[break][break]

The Moonblast hits the Mismagius in the torso as the ghost screeches in pain. Mana floats to the little left side before she waited for her mistress’ command. “Show her Gardevoir your own power. Shadow Ball now!” A sphere of dark energy forms in the middle of the floating ghostly witch as Mana fires the sphere at the ranger’s Gardevoir. “I have the same idea. The events from the island around Dewford’s Route 105 made me realize that I need to prove myself in strength. I was told by a Rocket grunt that I was too weak, but the sheriff picked me back up with his words.” Elise nods to the ranger's words and spoke a little about the experience during the conflict.[break][break]

The shadow ball stuck the fairy type sending her flying back but she managed to land on her feet. She looked back to Adel sharing a nodded they had the advantage and were going to and keep it up. "We both have grown though so much and needed the much needed change. Now we put our strength to the test. I believe in you, Elise. Make this next part count for we will do the same."

As the ranger spoke She held out her locket and touched the key stone infused with it. The gardevoir felt a immense amount of surge through her from her mega Stone in seem like second the fairy had undergone a transformation unlike anything that she had seen before. "So this what Mega evolution is like. Wonderfully. Keep up the offense with psychic."

The mega pokemon nodded leaped into the sky. This battle for keeps as she made a wish. She raised her arms charge her power and only the descend down took aim firing a mighty blast at the Mismagius.

“I did have a lot of people to thank and especially my friend, Alexei Ivanov since we’ve spent a great deal together at the false ‘Galar’. I even took his non-traditional challenge at his gym and won by a landslide.” By proxy, Alexei was also a close friend of Remiel’s, so he was very happy to see her every time they had met from their first meeting in ‘Hammerlocke’. For now, she didn’t have much of an interest in taking on the E4 challenge that came with getting all of the badges though maybe there will be a point sometime.[break][break]

Adelaide’s Gardevoir mega evolves to a Mega Gardevoir as the female ranger orders her psychic type Pokemon to hit Elise’s Mismagius with Psychic. Mana didn’t have time to dodge that attack as the blast of Psychic energy hits her. “It’s time we show Adelaide and her Mega Gardevoir that we too have a trick of our own. Hit her Mega Gardevoir back with Power Gem!” The royal ambassador spoke over to her ghost and taps the Tera Orb around her belt to terastalize her Mismagius to the Fairy Tera Type.[break][break]

Now that Mana has her fairy tera crown atop of her head, the three red soul gems around the neck of her robe glow and release a barrage of sharp magical rocks towards the Mega Gardevoir![break][break]

Mega Evolution vs Terastalization. Now things were getting interesting but Adel refused to stand down about anything here. She remember her time in the false galar and the shards she still carried. "I did things a bit differently. I aid a friend of mine who hurting. I have done some soul searching! I don't remember much from my time in the false galar but I remember see the raw strength of Zacian's blade and how I had healed the pokemon. Those are things I can never forget for as long as I may live."

The rocks rain down the Gardevoir like rain but she remained strong. Her wish has become true and her strength was restored but not its fullest. She was hurt but will not go down. "Moonblast, my dear. Fairy vs Fairy." Taneisha nodded against still caught her breath she raised a hand and another powerful beam was sent at foe.

When Adelaide recounts that she had helped a friend who was hurting inside and done some soul searching, Elise had done the same in terms of soul searching too. “It seems that the false ‘Galar’ has given us time to do some soul searching… Unfortunate that it ended in the break up with my first boyfriend, but it was inevitable.” Her solemn words made the ambassador still remembers the pain of the break up and Amor himself hadn’t told her what was wrong. Well, there wasn’t time for it now.[break][break]

There was a time and place for focusing on their match.[break][break]

With the Moonblast from the Mega Gardevoir coming her way, the Mismagius with the Fairy Tera crown takes the brunt of the pink sphere of energy and shuts her eyes from the pain. "Hit back with Thunderbolt, my darling!" Elise calls out to her floating purple ghost as an incantation comes to the witch ghost's mind and she releases a Thunderbolt. The bolt of electricity attempts to strike the Gardevoir in her elegant ballgown-like body.[break][break]
