Someone did arrive at the scene, but it was probably not who the Rocket Beast had expected. "Hey, stop that!" Cried out a young woman dressed up like a dragon. The berserk Drampa did not stop.

"They're not listening to reason! Kokoro, I choose you!" Andrea sent out her shiny Kommo-o. "Use Clangorous Soul!"

The pseudo-legendary dragon rattled its pink scales menacingly, giving a warning to its enemies not to draw near lest they got a taste of these fucking hands.

Fly. An effective move, but highly telegraphed. What goes up must comes down. "Kokoro, Protect! Then hit them with a Drain Punch!"

The shiny Kommo-o raised a protective barrier around itself, blocking the enemy's attack, before clocking the Drampa on the head, stealing its vitality. The shock was enough to make the geriatric dragon calm down somewhat.

"Feeling better? Can you tell us what's actually wrong now?" Andrea asked, knowing that Drampa were gentle by nature and would never go on a rampage for no good reason.

The Dragon-type hissed and growled at her, lacking the language skills to properly convey what it was trying to say.

Run.

The Drampa started acting weird, losing control of its own body to an invisible force that sent it violently crashing against the ground. The sickening noise of old bones cracking was heard, as several of its ribs were crushed by the overwhelming gravity.

"W-was that a Psychic move?!" Mumbled Andrea in shock, amethyst eyes widening upon seeing an eldritch shape moving in the darkness. Her Kommo-o shielded her with its body, roaring in pain as its back was scourged by a crystalline lash. "T-thanks, Kokoro..."

Angered by their unknown assailant who wouldn't hesitate to kill a defenseless trainer, the pseudo-legendary retaliated by shaking its Clanging Scales with such intensity, the air around them rippled and the very ground beneath their feet shook.

One of the revealed assailants blasted Kokoro with a super effective move. “Oh no, Kokoro-! Kyaaah!” Andrea let out a pained cry as razor-sharp claws tore through the fabric of her Sygna Suit, leaving nasty gashes on the exposed, fair skin.

The young woman hastily turned around with a stumble. Getting a better look at her attacker only terrified her more; it was a humanoid figure made up entirely of obsidian crystal. “W-what are you?!” She muttered in horror of the unnatural sight.

Things took a turn for the worse when the remaining Drampa tried to attack her like a wild, uncontrollable mob. Using the last bit of strength left, her Kommo-o Protected her from the rampaging swarm, before fainting from its earlier injuries.

“Chomper, I choose you!” The draconic cosplayer switched one pseudo-legendary for another--a shiny Hydreigon to be precise. The three-headed drake barreled into its fellow Dragon-types with an Outrage of its own, sending them flying.

“Don’t attack the Drampa! This is the real enemy!” A distraught Andrea pointed at the ghostly Paradox Pokémon and the crystalline man. Noticing the girl’s bleeding scars, a Worked Up Chomper growled in anger--cursing in the Draconid tongue.

They hurt her. They must die.

Whether the Drampa were truly indiscriminate, or trying to save the human girl from that abomination, was unclear. Perhaps even in their berserk state their grandfatherly instincts remained intact. Whatever the case may have been, their interference was helpful.

"I'm not afraid of you!" Andrea lied. She was in fact very afraid, but she needed to put up a BRAVE front if she wanted to survive. Hostile legendaries, alien cannibals, Ultra Beasts, paradoxes, and now evil crystal men. Was there anything in Hoenn that didn't want to kill them?

Her green-scaled Hydreigon fired a powered up Draco Meteor, adding to the mayhem caused by the Drampa's own onslaught of attacks. While their pursuers were distracted, the Sygna Suited woman mounted the dragon's back, holding on tightly. "Let's Fly outta here, Chomper!"

Running away was what cowards did, but Chomper begrudgingly obeyed the order for the sake of his trainer, taking off into the air amidst the chaos. Frantically flapping his six wings, the Hydreigon carried the injured girl far away from that monster's clutches.
