"I haven't the slightest idea on what you mean," Razz counters with a hint of a smile as he whistles a few times clearly giving a bit more orders than the norm as he's been with the rest of the tournament so far. The discharge hits but Ra forces himself through it before he charges forward with Razz's plan. Ice forming around his fist before he slams it right in front of the Pikachu with his ICE PUNCH. Ra intending to have the ice grow form underneath the mouse to strike to avoid any physical contact.

[attr="class","textbody"] The whistles from the ex-Head Ranger confuse Ollie for a moment, not used to such tactics when it came to battling. It became obvious though when the Riolu combatted with a swift ICE PUNCH to the face.

[break][break] "Woah! Are you communicating with your pokemon through whistles?!"

[break][break] It wasn't exactly something uncommon but the first time that Ollie had seen it in person. Most of the time, the Head Ranger tended to talk to his pokemon in an obvious way. The only difference was with pokemon like Tofu, who he'd known for over a decade.

[break][break] Tofu slumped against the floor as he was thrown backwards, before climbing back to his feet. He shook his fur before baring his teeth, releasing a DISARMING VOICE in the form of floating pink notes.

Oh guess he's never really explained the reason why he does his commands the way he does to the older Ranger before. Razz just gives a shrug, "Its how I was taught by my mom and then some friend of my parents," he gives a simple explanation and now it was just hard to break habit as much as he rather not stick to old ways. [break][break]

As Tofu attacks Razz whistles and Ra is quick to follow the order COPYCATTING the DISARMING VOICE as if the clashing voices would cancel, though for the pup it just felt louder.

[break][break] It would be pretty convenient to do things that way, especially if there was some reason that he couldn't talk to his pokemon. He practiced a little of nonverbal communication with pokemon like Tofu or Mochi, but that was only because he knew them so well.

[break][break] Both DISARMING VOICES clash against each other, the notes bursting into multicolored sparks of light. The light shimmers just as Ollie raises his arm, triggering Tofu's DYNAMAX EVOLUTION.

[break][break] Shadow casts across the arena as the Pikachu triples in size, taking up nearly the entire arena. With a cry, the Pikachu charges up before aiming an IRON TAIL down at his foe.

Razz just blinks at the other almost seeming surprised by the request. Never before had he'd been asked to be caught by a person before. His pokemon sure, but people? Could he even teach that? "Umm sure? I could try I mean I usually teach the pokemon so can't be too different right?" he ponders to himself, almost distracted by the fact that the Pikachu started to grow.[break][break]

While Dynamax wasn't new to him he wasn't used to seeing it in just a casual battle. "Get out of the way!" Razz just warns as Riolu attempts to avoid though the impact does blast him back a bit. Ra rolling to recover as he tries to put all of his strength into one more attack, the information on the Vital Device clear that Tofu didn't have much left in him.

[break][break] The battle is going to end soon. Ollie can tell it is — he already knows the telltale signs of Tofu's fatigue, and knows that there's only so much they can do before the battle ends.

It looks like Ra was able to survive the first strike but he wasn't sure how long the battle could keep going. Sure according to the equipment given Ra just needed one more clean hit, but whether or not they would be able to get it in with the pikachu so gigantic, especially as it seems ready to make its next move. [break][break]

Razz gives a loud whistle to ensure Ra heard and focused on his orders rather than the odds of going against such a large opponent. Which he does using COPYCAT to replicate his opponent as his way of both offense and Defense wanting the electric bolts to clash.[break][break]

His is just enough to take the win Ra falling from his spot as the device they were given announces that Tofu's health was depleted both trainer and pokemon sigh a sigh of relief. "Good going Morles, maybe next time," he offers as he goes to pick up the exhausted riolu.
