Taking another look at the Miraidon, Zev had to agree: it did look like a Cyclizar. "You're right." [break][break]

Which prompted him to wonder if this scenario had any relation to the first one. [break][break]

But he had no time to contemplate the ulterior motives of the RKS machine. Lulu's Porygon unleashed an attack on the second Miraidon. The Rocket Beast released his Shadow Nidoking from a Pokéball. Roaring in challenge, the horned Pokémon struck the intruding Miraidon with SHADOW BOLT. [break][break]

Eventually, they won the battle, but not without suffering injuries of their own. Zev recalled his Nidoking as the Miraidon urged him and Lulu to hop onto its back. He climbed on, helping the woman up behind him if she wished. [break][break]

The flora of the Terastal cavern was wholly unfamiliar to Zev, nor did he care to examine it. He was more interested in where Miraidon was leading them. [break][break]

Unfortunately, before he could find out, the simulation ended. Both the glittering cave and the strange Pokémon faded away, leaving them standing in the nothingness of the virtual world.

she climbed onto the miraidon too, only accepting as much help as was absolutely necessary. as they went through the cavern, she noticed the flora looked familiar.[break][break]

”that’s herba mystica. it was found under route 119, in the tera crystal caverns. it has interesting effects, both psychological and… otherwise…” she recalled how it had seemingly cured the affliction of the strange magenta chain.[break][break]

before they could get much further, the simulation ended, to her great disappointment.[break][break]

she would not linger after, soon rushing off to journal while the events were fresh in her mind. she did, however, leave a vague prediction to him. ”perhaps we’ll see that pokemon in our world soon, too.”[break][break]

as she turned to leave, she called over her shoulder, "see you next time, harcourt."[break][break]
