WHETHER IT WAS DISPLACED BENEATH LITTLEROOT DUE TO DIMENSIONAL ENTANGLEMENT, BROUGHT BACK TO FUNCTIONING ORDER DUE TO DIALGA, OR BOTH, can not be determined. However, this kingdom made entirely out of intricate mechanisms is void of human life. Clockwork gears, iron tunnels, and curious domes make up this kingdom that continues to function like an animatronic music box.[break][break]

Mechanical Pokemon like Magearna, Volcanion and others present in the kingdom seem to be robotic, set to a rhythm or programming like an animatronic figure.[break][break]

Several clock towers loom above the entire kingdom, though their machinery seems to be in disrepair.

The white-haired Stone stands in the courtyard of an ancient castle in the MECHANICAL KINGDOM, turning to and fro to designate each exit and decide which one to take. Nearby, his MIGHTYENA sniffs around for anything interesting. STYGIAN paws his way through a pile of rusted cogs and rubble, though he doubts he'll find anything to eat.[break][break]

All of this is interrupted, however, when the door behind him creaks open. Both Belial Stone and Stygian turn to greet the stranger, and the former is quick to spread a handsome smile when sees that it's a pretty girl. "Oh. Hello there. I wasn't expecting to find anyone else out here. Are you with the LEAGUE?" He inquires.[break][break]

She's here alone, which is probably ill advised.[break][break]

But Luka had been late to the arranged meeting place with the Ranger who was meant to accompany her to the mechanical kingdom today. She assumed they had gone on without her, but after a few minutes of poking through rubble, it's clear that her supposed partner is nowhere to be found.[break][break]

She and her Sylveon pick carefully through the ruins, trying hard not to draw attention to themselves. So far, the broken bits of automatons they've come across have all been inactive, though that doesn't mean there's no danger here.[break][break]

Still, they're already pushing their luck. They should turn back. Luka pushes open a door that she thinks will lead her towards an exit, but is surprised to find someone else on the other side. She jumps backwards a few steps, heart racing, though it starts to settle once she realizes that it's just some guy. Her missing partner, perhaps?[break][break]

"O-oh! Um, hello! S-sorry, I just...I didn't think, erm, that is! I didn't realize... She trails off. Now that she has a better look at the guy, she can say with confidence that she's never seen him before. In fact, it's rather bizarre to see another person here all by themselves. The League never authorizes these missions without a partner...[break][break]

"Of course I am." What an odd question. She blinks up at the man, head tilted to the side. "Aren't you?"[break][break]

She glances around, but there doesn't appear to be anyone else in the vicinity. "They said I was going to have a partner...it's not you?"

His serene expression dampens with the hint of a frown at the corner of his lips as he looks around. He brightens again, however, upon turning back to the pink-haired lass.[break][break]

"Oh, but you're a RANGER, is that right? Or at least a LEAGUE conscripted trainer? Do you mind if we tag along with you to find the exit?" He asks with a pleading look in his sparkling green eyes. "I really must get back. And, despite your lack of a partner, you look entirely capable of navigating this maze to me." He smiles.[break][break]
