[attr="class","diana"]Yellow PINAP BERRIES caught her attention, vibrant from the distance. But that didn't hold Diana's gaze for long, as three FLYGONS joined the ARBOLIVA in its GRASSY TERRAIN.

"Remiel, this is our chance!" she hissed, standing and reaching for her Poke ball.

However, when her blue gaze met his face, there was the light of realization behind his eyes. Her brows furrowed, her hand lowering slowly from her side.

"What do you mean, you're walking over? They may try to attack- Remiel, wait!"

Diana huffed, yet she followed her friend regardless.

As the exiled prince approaches the scene, it is clear he wants to do so as quietly as possible. The hand he raises in response to Diana's protests says as much. Why else was he here if not to resolve this? If anyone was capable of figuring this situation out, surely the head of a DRACIARY came to mind.[break][break]

As soon as they manage to find a hiding spot behind a tractor, however, Remiel breaks his silence with a whisper. "They're interacting with each other," He says, pointing out the Flygon as they buzz around the Arboliva. One of them pauses from its flight to land and eats a PINAP berry fresh from the vine. "See the discoloration on their bellies? How it's much lighter than usual?"[break][break]

The royal pauses from pointing this out to look at Diana and smile. He's figured it out.[break][break]

"They're pregnant."[break][break]

In playing with the well, it seems Remiel's GOLETT has accidentally pulled down one of its bricks. Another thud follows as the golem dismounts the edge of the well to land on both feet. It innocently looks up to regard its trainer before looking ahead... to regard the trio of Flygon that have taken notice of its presence with fiery glares. If the golem could gulp in this moment, it likely would.[break][break]

"Unfortunately that also makes them highly aggressive!" Remiel says, reaching to his belt for a Luxury Ball before summoning a SKY-FORME SHAYMIN. "We need to get them out of here without hurting them!"[break][break]

POPPY, in the meantime, takes to the skies to distract some of them while another launches itself toward the GOLETT to strike with a DRAGON RUSH.[break][break]

[attr="class","diana"]Diana nearly rolled her eyes at him, following regardless of his attempts to hush her. She crouched down, peaking around the other side of the tractor as he began to point out a detail she hadn't noticed.

"What's important about it?" she asked, glancing at him. Though the revelation was fascinating.

"Leave it to you to know everything about dragons..." She wouldn't have imagined that these FLYGON were feeding to ensure the healthy birth of their young.

The sound of clattering made her jump, causing Diana to cover her mouth with her hand. Peering behind her, Remiel Calcifet's GOLETT stood at the well. Well, there went being quiet.

"Now you tell me?" She reached for a ball of her own, releasing her AZUMARILL. "Draw their attention to you. Come back when you've gotten them out of the area!"

Delphin hobbled off, dragging the attention of one of the FLYGONS away from GOLETT. She released SHIINOTIC next. "Use spore! Make sure we can get GOLETT out of there!"

Nyx complied, using her SPORES to target the FLYGON heading in the direction to Remiel's Pokemon.

"Wait— no!" Remiel shouts out to Diana's SHIINOTIC. But, with the SPORES all but spread, there was little else to do than take action against them. "Poppy, clear the SPORES from the area!"[break][break]

The little Shaymin proved to be the perfect bait for the Flygon. It resembled much of the small rodents they were accustomed to hunting in the desert. Though, certainly, the fact that it could fly presented a challenge. More than that, it was performing aerial maneuvers and traveling with such nimble speed that the pregnant matriarchs were being constantly outpaced.[break][break]

Despite the goose chase she is currently leading, however, Poppy manages to sweep the SPORES up into the sky with the breeze she controls in flight. The SPORES that linger in her wake twinkle out of existence thanks to her HEALING WISH. Remiel's Golett, in the meantime, summons a PROTECT barrier to shield itself from the largest matriarch.[break][break]

"Throwing every Pokémon in your arsenal at a problem until it's fixed is very HOENNIAN of you, Diana," The exiled prince chuckles, shaking his head. "We don't want the Flygon to drop out of the sky asleep. That'd be too dangerous." He explains, wondering if he should add the questionable effects that SPORES would have on a pregnant Pokémon.[break][break]

As her AZUMARILL, his GOLETT, and his SHAYMIN distract the three matriarch Flygon, however, he decides to get to the point. "We'll lead them away from here instead."[break][break]

[attr="class","diana"]Diana gave him a look over her shoulder, partially appalled that he'd clear the SPORES out of the way, and annoyed that he was interfering with her plan. The wind sent the drowsy cells away, sparing the FLYGON and allowing it to fly further.

"Well, I didn't exactly participate in battles in Galar. I'm going on instinct here," she reminded him.

She did have some Pokemon battle training, but only the basics back home. Her other tasks were etiquette and how to become a queen. Diana had been forced to learn political roles and how to negotiate, all sorts of boring topics that the queen, Remiel's mother, did when it was her time to take the throne.

So her time in the battle ring? It was far from exemplary.

She recalled the SHIINOTIC, instead drawing out her TINKATON who could resist a dragon attack or two. She'd just have to avoid any ground attacks. "Alright. Since AZUMARILL has distracted the other, let's send that one on a chase too."

Instinct had its uses. But, when it came to dragons, Remiel preferred experience and care. Diana, no doubt, knew this about him. Despite a sudden personality shift after the death of his father, the crown prince still retained certain aspects of himself he'd had since childhood.[break][break]

"Right," He responds to his partner's latest idea with a nod as his SKY-FORME SHAYMIN distracts the others. "I'll have POPPY soothe them with AROMATHERAPY and guide them back into the desert. After that I can send a team to inspect them... the DRACIARY may be a safer place for expecting mothers."[break][break]

Some time passes before the two Galarian royals can reconvene safely with the farmer and his ARBOLIVA. As it turned out, the former was simply hoping to aid the pregnant FLYGON MATRIARCHS by providing food and suitable land for their crater-like nests. Thankfully, none of the dragons had laid their respective clutch of eggs yet. This meant that relocating them to the CALCIFET DRACIARY, even if only temporarily, was still possible.[break][break]

"I'm headed there now," Remiel informs Diana as they finish writing a report on the events that had just transpired. "Fancy a visit?"[break][break]
