While she had a lot of stronger Pokemon, the ambassador decides to take her female Cyndaquil out for some training in Route 101. Cecily is excited to start her first training session outside of helping Elise do her ranger missions, so she starts to sniff around for any scent. Elise knows that her fire shrew appeared to be a little timid on the surface, but when the shrew is given training, the Cyndaquil doesn’t disappoint with her battling skill.[break][break]

She watches the Cyndaquil run around the path across the route. They’ll probably find some Pokemon for the Cyndaquil to do her training with, maybe something that could be on her level.

A scent is smelled as the Cyndaquil turns her head to a nearby wild Ditto. The purple blob appears to be a little busy with something, probably because it has been working on gathering some nuts for one of the other wild Pokemon. Cecily doesn’t want to bother the Ditto much, so she’ll continue on walking down the path along with the diplomat. Elise did already have a Ditto to take care of, so taking care of another would be a bit of a hassle.

The wild Sentret that runs across the path to the taller grasses surprises the fire shrew as she jumps back from the sudden entrance. Though the Sentret didn’t think it was that surprising, the other female Pokemon looks at the Cyndaquil like she did something wrong before the normal type Pokemon goes away. With a sigh of relief from Cecily, the Cyndaquil starts to get ahead of her trainer and walks on the path.[break][break]

She had almost attacked the Sentret, but the wild Pokemon didn’t appear like the other female attacked her at any rate.

A wild Linoone comes over to see the ambassador and her Cyndaquil though the small fire shrew sees the normal type Pokemon as a threat. She lets the fire flare from her back as the Cyndaquil attacks the Linoone with a Lava Plume. Soot from the flames shoot up when the burning fire hits the wild Linoone and Cecily gets a Tackle from her opponent. [break][break]

Cecily gets a little upset by the attack and she makes the Linoone faint with a well timed Flamethrower. As the Linoone goes down to the ground, Elise tosses a Dusk Ball at the downed badger Pokemon.
