Last thing he was expecting was a message from Theo again. It had been a long time since the old man had messaged him to meet up. Razz figured he was doing a terrible enough job to not really warrant any attention for further promotion. The ranger wanting to keep his jobs with Rocket almost complete failures since he was mostly reporting the missions to the Rangers or Officers of the town and just so happened to let some grunts get caught here and there. Unlike normal Razz is sure to wear the emotions he should be expressing. So there is almost a baffled look on his face at the question. Was this call simply for small talk? Weird, but I he supposed the man also did invite him over for decor once so not the weirdest. [Break][break]

Had he molded Ashton's personality after anyone normal, he might have reacted to the threat in the air with something more appropriate. However the mold was an arrogant, psycho with a large cup of dumbass, so doing the smart thing was never the first option. Rather he just gives a short laughing scoff over the known fear he would've had had Theo used this sort of tone with him years ago. [break][break]

With how stressful this whole situation had turned out, Razz almost wished they were at Howling at the Moon back in Slateport. He could get a drink that would help relieve the stress, not that he was a drinker but in this moment he could be. And while he feels he could still fight this, there were other people here, and there was no need to put them in danger or cause a scene. [break][break]

"Fine," his voices lacks the usual carelessness to it as it shifts to a more serious one as he does as told, the illusion falling. Thankfully the hair is for the most part the same, as Razz still keeps up with the wig even when disguised. Though his scar is revealed, the yellow eyes shifting a possibly familiar red as he leans back with crossed arms. [break][break]

"Happy?" he questions wondering if the other would recognize him at all. He may know of 'Razz Kingsman' sure, but when he left Rocket his voice still hadn't completely changed, his growth spurt took time. Would he see Raziel underneath?

His attitude can't help but faulter slightly when he hears the other call him by his name. Though unlike with the others who have seen through his guise, there doesn't seem to just hate behind it. Yet he keeps his guard up, his emotions in check because he's tried of being hurt. Cillian Quinn, jayden cross, Asriel Pryde all so god damn quick to jump on what he had done against Rocket, and not one willing to listen on what Rocket had done to him, to them but that was a different conversation they all seemed obdurate about. "Its Razz now," he corrects giving a shrug because he knows well there is barely any difference in the name, he was 16 and was socially inept. "Dad always hated nicknames," he can't help but add onto it, as if part of him wanted to give the explanation, but also his subtle admission that the other had been right about the man.

Well when listed like that it does seem like a pretty harsh fall, yet Razz knows the details behind such things, and only one of them nags at him.[break][break]

he makes the connection instantly, familiar enough with ollie morales to know of the head ranger's ascension. "it's not hard, no, but i imagine that doesn't make it any less painful."

because he knows, even from a young age, just how hard raziel tries. they put in effort into everything they do without expecting anything in return because that was what they were trained to do.

"wisdom comes with age. so, too, does calmness, i suppose."

but raziel would be mistaken should they assume that calmness and ruthlessness go hand in hand.

"i thought i raised you well. i was mistaken."

The comment about how he was raised slaps him harder than being replaced by Ollie ever would. Near seventeen years of having been conditioned to yearn for the approval of those above him not so easily demisihed. Especially when Theo's was always one whoes approval used to mean almost as much as his parents'. He clenches his fist lightly as he tries to remind himself that he isn't a teenager anymore. That Theo drove him away just as much as his blood family had [break][break]
