Oakdale was a very quiet place-- and honestly to Phoebe's personal interest. It was rustic, calm-- and unmarred by the influence of man too much. Pokemon ran free here pretty much, and things were less... complicated. [break][break] It was how the world should be a little bit more. The struggles of day to day life for people were growing more and more complicated. THings would be forgotten, worrying about problems that took away from one's personal health. Mentally and physically. Even in this calm, evening breeze with the moon and stars for company... the maelstrom of survival in a modern world was quiet for a change. [break][break] She now traveled along the roads neighboring the Oakdale town. She had little to fear being in the woods, but she did hear the rumors. Wild Pokemon running amock and harassing the town. Still, she held the aura of a competent woman. [break][break] Or one would hope, as she didn't know many of the pokemon in these woods were 'dark pokemon', and could cause her problems... [break][break] Either way, she would brave the dark forest to reap the rewards fortune would show for her... [break][break]

Elise had visited with Mr. Dell and his family a few times, so she’s thinking that the man would have a Mightyena problem this time. Oldale would be at the end of the neighboring roads and she’ll take the walk there. Her favorite time to be was at night time where nocturnal Pokemon were active, including her ghosts that loved to play. [break][break]

The diplomat would seemingly be alone except for the shadow that hides with her. When Elise moves, the shadow Pokemon moves along with her and perfectly disguises as the royal’s own shadow. Her female Marshadow is a reclusive ghost, only to hide in the shadows as necessary to watch over her and ensure the safety of the royal ambassador. [break][break]

Nevertheless, Elise sees another person moving in the night. A woman with light purple hair, a dress, and a veil. The other woman’s motive to get to the same town was unknown, but maybe she may have been told to do the same thing too.[break][break]

“Excuse me.” The Galarian princess politely speaks to the unknown woman, seeing if the other will turn to speak with her. “I could not help but note that you are heading in the same direction to Oldale. What is your purpose there?”

Phoebe had not intended to mingle with the residents of this place. She had no need to. She wasn't there to cause problems for the locals-- this time. Not there on rocket business or there to steal something. [break][break] TO her it was just a stroll in the moonlight surrounded by the critters of the night. [break][break] But then... [break][break] The voice of a chance encounter made the night far more interesting. Phoebe barely turned, but stopped, and glanced slightly. The woman had a commanding tone of her, but not demanding. The question was almost... suspicious of her. [break][break] "My purpose? Such things do not exist in this vast starry universe. Can't an innocent, young woman enjoy a peaceful stroll in the moonlight just on a whim? " she said with playful sarcasm at the woman's tone. [break][break] Soon, Phoebe turned around fully, to soon see the equally regal women of violet hair and the air of a regal conviction. Phoebe took this person in with interest. "And what might bring you out here, yourself? " she said. Phoebe clearly wasn't being a helpful person-- or at least 'innocent' . She was a woman of mystery, so why just answer her accusor? [break][break] However, the night's mystique began to become something more scary as the glow of red eyes would peer through the shadows of the night. The forest was alurk with something sneaking in the trees and bushes. It would only be a matter of time before they find out. [break][break]

When Elise had spoken to the other woman, her tone was not very commanding at all. Maybe people had mistaken that the usage of her ‘excuse me’ was the more brusque out of it. She wasn’t acting on capacity as the Galarian Ambassador at the moment and there was no need to if she wasn’t talking to Mr. Dell and his family yet…when she can get to Oldale.[break][break]

“If you do not state a purpose…” The diplomat speaks her response to the lavender-haired woman before she lays down her guard. “Then it was wrong of me to presume that you would have a purpose to be on this road.”[break][break]

The shadow that stays on the ground doesn’t move unless Veyle notes that her charge is in danger.[break][break]

“I have a little job to do when I arrive to the town.” Elise states her own purpose as the lady asks about it. “It concerns a client of mine that visits my embassy.”

Phoebe waited patiently as she saw the woman's reaction. She was very poised and proper, a woman of great confidence and respect. [break][break] Her gaze soften as she smiled at her. "Call me Phoebe. NIce to meet you," she said with a kind smile as she winked at her, fainting a flirtatious gesture. She didn't intend to cause trouble, but she was there to try and learn more about the dogs attacking the region. Still, she hadn't intend to run across ... [break][break] "An ambassador? What are you, some kind of little rich girl?" Phoebe said with a teasing tone. [break][break] She definitely dressed the part, having an almost royal flare to her. [break][break] With a sigh, Phoebe crossed her arms. "To be fair to you-- I did hear the rumors about the beasts roaming around. But I hoped to perhaps catch one of them. That or just peak my curiosity. Let's say a good fright can do one good," she said, as the two girls talked. [break][break]
It was a bit silly as two girls alone in the woods-- as some feral beasts were seemingly on the loose. Sure enough, the sounds of growls could be heard in the distance. [break][break] Phoebe glanced at the shadows of the forest-- hearing the distant howls. "Hmm... seems we might have company," she said casually.[break][break]

Having nerves like steel, gestures like Phoebe’s wouldn’t faze her and the mysterious purple-haired woman introduced her name too. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Phoebe.” The diplomat gives the other wooman a slight curtsy, manners that she had gotten from speaking with the royal court in Galar and other family members like the Queen. [break][break]

Nonetheless, the woman asks if Elise was some little rich girl since Elise is an ambassador of Galar. “I suppose you can say that since I am the Queen of Galar’s niece.” The ambassador doesn’t know how much this woman would’ve known about other countries’ political figures or the Galarian royalty that were staying in Hoenn than in their country. “I see. I’ve heard that those canine Pokemon were bothering people that were on the road to the town too.”[break][break]

Distant howls were heard from the shadows as Phoebe notes that they have company. “We do have some company that are coming to see us.” As she replies, the shadow with orange eyes moves near the ambassador once the shadows of the canines move closer to reveal themselves as wild Mightyena. “Veyle, take care of them please.” Her command addresses the shadow with glowing orange eyes.[break][break]

And Veyle moves to deal with one of the Mightyena that dared to attack the ambassador when the ghost Pokemon sees it leaping at the dark purple-haired woman. The female Marshadow shows herself from her shadow and decks the dark type canine Pokemon with a Drain Punch, the hit throws the Mightyena back to the ground.

For a 'rich girl' Elise was very poised and humble all the same. She was not spoiled rich, which was a relief. But she was actually a relative to Galar royal family! That was an eye opener. Despite that royal demeanor and status, she was out and about mostly by herself, unguarded and brave on her own. [break][break] It was actually quite admirable. [break][break]She actually was likeable as a person-- to which Phoebe respected. She could indeed get used to someone like her. "Guess I can't leave this to you alone, can I?" Phoebe said as she casually reached and drew a Pokeball-- arming it. She then tossed it elegantly up and overhead. "LUPIN!" she called. [break][break] The ball cracked open and out appeared from its light-- a flip from a green colored cat. A Florigato-- one of Phoebe's loyal and loving companions. [break][break] As Elise's black 'stay-puff-marshmellow-creature' fought, Lupin jumped in as well. With his vine and flower protrusion-- he whipped it up into the air and used it to beat off one of the nearby dogs back. It was in that moment-- with a flick back, a barrage of leaves swirled around them. [break][break] Launching Magical Leaf, Lupin create a storm of multi-colored, shimmering leaves, catching the Mightyanas by surprise as the cat caused havoc among the dogs. [break][break] A fun game of cat and dog fight was about to go down. [break][break]
