He's sore, oh so very sore as the previous scenario with @cillian. Wright was not built for battle, and despite his agreeance with the Underboss he had very little intent on changing that too much. But he'll give some effort to try and improve thus why now he's doing more of these little training scenarios.[break][break]

Outside the Underboss having ordered for him to do more.[break][break]

Though as he's got the course with he someone knew he is excited that this is for building and maintenance not actual fighting. "Oh thank God something easy, anything you need work on for this? I already work with both on the daily soooo.." he trails off with a shrug as he figures he'll allow the general to pick what he would like.

Equipment inspection and maintenance were part and parcel of any war effort. Not only was Zev familiar with the process, but with the weapons and vehicles of war themselves. This inspection was routine, one of many he expected to make in the coming weeks, and it mattered little to him which one he examined first. [break][break]

"Weapons, then," he said to Yuan Wright, whose expertise was the reason he was accompanying the general that day. [break][break]

Unlike the talkative scientist, Zev maintained an aloof, stoic demeanor as he strode forward to begin the day's work. [break][break]

You find yourself within a well-stocked armory, thanks in part to the efforts of Aurelie Lefevre. Reinforced cases and steel shelving units contain weapons of various types: small arms, explosives, knives and other bladed tools. Adjacent to the armory is an open range used for the practice and maintenance of these weapons. [break][break]

"You got it mr. General," Yuan replies back with an almost mock salute, more intending to have fun with this and show off his own abilities. As maintenance is where he knows he can make himself actually look good despite his blabber mouth. He walks with the other toward the armory that had apparently been helped provided by Aurelie Lefevre, Wright taking it upon himself to take a look at one of the guns provided as if deeming it good or not before he notes the range and honestly he would prefer to not practice his weaponry with the other around. [break][break]

"Might be good to check a couple of these," he encourages as shows off a a loose part on the current gun he was holding. No he didn't do that himself, how dare anyone try to accuse. Sure it would be an easy fix sure, but he wants to avoid any sort of weapons training with the General of all people.

The armory was, in a way, a place of comfort for Zev. He was familiar with most common weapons and maintained his knowledge of firearms in his free time. He kept his own personal collection safe and secret in storage units across Hoenn. [break][break]

Zev was peering down the sight of an assault rifle when Yuan's comment drew his attention. Putting down the gun, Zev walked over to inspect the loose part indicated by the scientist. [break][break]

A low, disapproving hum preceded the general's response. "We'll check all of them," he decided. "We don't want any of them malfunctioning on the field." [break][break]

While most might see this as menial labor funnily enough Yuan finds it fun. He enjoys getting into the gritty details of gadgets and weaponry as if he were on a episode of 'How its Made' and rather than just be told about it he gets to inspect the detail himself. It's relaxing and for once Wright can get behind the other's silent philosophy as for once he is actually quiet as he works as its usually the type of work he doesn't have to think to hard about where he actually knows how to be silent.[break][break]

Well at least until he got to one that was actually broken, huh and here he thought the first one was a fluke. "Seems like Aurelie Lefevre's forces need a better quality checker," he chuckles at his own comment as he begins to take the gun apart.

Maintaining and cleaning weapons brought Zev into a meditative state. His familiarity with all manner of firearms enabled him to inspect the ones before them with ease and efficiency. The silence, too, was welcome. [break][break]

When Yuan spoke up, Zev glanced over at the gun in the other man's hands. [break][break]

"Aurelie Lefevre is a blacksmith. She doesn't make firearms," was all he said before taking the gun for closer inspection. With the help of a screwdriver, he disassembled it to find the malfunctioning part: the trigger mechanism. [break][break]

"The trigger spring is out of place. It just needs a nudge to adjust." [break][break]

"Wait I thought she was the tech woman?" he questions making it quite clear that he wasn't entirely sure who was who just yet, Yuan clearly thinking of ameena abadi instead. There was a very good reason why Yuan just referred to everyone as Deedee because he just couldn't be bothered to try and differentiate between one person or the other, machines and pokemon were his specialty not people. [break][break]

As the general comes over he gives him the main body for the gun to be properly inspected as he spotted the problem almost impressively quickly for a brute. Not that he would ever tell the general that out loud. "Guess your title of GOD General is really deserved," he chuckles in a joking manner as he would fix up the pointed problem with relative ease.

Once Yuan had fixed the malfunction, Zev took the reassembled gun and gave it a quick test. Without bullets, there was nothing to fire, but the trigger moved properly that time. Satisfied, he handed the weapon back to the scientist. [break][break]

Then he pointed at two nearby grunts. "You and you. Finish the inspection here." [break][break]

They jumped to obey, while Zev started to turn away. He paused, however, to cast a final glance in Yuan's direction. [break][break]

"Stay with them to finish the task if you like. They may need a sharp pair of eyes." [break][break]

Without waiting to hear the other man's decision, the general stalked off.
