Oh, she hated this. She already despised training and breaking a sweat outside of the bedroom, and these days, it was only getting more grueling. She supposed she had the wonderful admins of Team Rocket to thank for increasing her stamina and combatant abilities. But she loathed it nonetheless.[break][break]

And of course, who better to attend a training session with than jayden cross himself. What was he doing here among the rest of the grunts like herself?[break][break]

Seeing him made her internally sigh. To her, his presence meant one thing and one thing only: she was going to actually have to work her ass off in order to impress him. She truly hated working.[break][break]

The training was going as expected. jayden cross stood at the edge of the clearing, tapping away at his phone to send a swift message to his groupchat with BARNABY FINCH, howard slayte and fern delaney to update them on the day's events. Before long, however, he was pocketing his phone and striding through the crowd, carefully observing each and every grunt that had been signed on for the day.

The cold voice of Kanto's Black Hand greets you as you and others split off towards his direction. There's something grave yet unsettling in his tone, sending a shiver down your spine. You try to reassure yourself that it's unrelated to the black crystals running up and down his arms. [break][break]

Surely, General Harcourt wouldn't harm one of his own, would he? [break][break]

"Do as I say, and I will forge you into a weapon worthy of Rocket," he states, almost as if he can read your mind. [break][break]

You can't help but wonder — [break][break]

What happens if you defy him? [break][break]

As the other grunts disperse into smaller groups, you face the choice: stay with God General Harcourt or join the others training under Rocket's own Charlatan.

"Yes," thought Circe to herself, her lips fighting to lift into a smile. "I have made the correct choice."[break][break]

The man that stood before her was a nearly perfect sculpture, one that she wouldn't mind keeping in her own home for viewing pleasure. She imagined Zev Harcout in his bare form, hand held at his chin, his piercing gaze looking off to the side.[break][break]

Her imagination was getting the best of her. By the time she had realized other grunts had drifted off, it was too late to make a decision. But, this was perfect for the lustful woman anyways. To be in the presence of such a hardened, muscled man pleased Circe. This would have been her choice anyways. Hopefully that also pleased Jayden.[break][break]

"They don't know what they're missing," Circe murmured, eyes slanted at the grunts that had chosen to leave.[break][break]

A small part of her hoped pain would be involved.

When the God General presented his task, Circe could not help but chuckle. Could it really be this easy?[break][break]

"Of course we'll kill him," she chimes ever-so-calmly, as if this was just another daily chore she had done before. "If he's with the League, then he must die. If he's one of ours, well..." She paused and stepped forward to the bound man. A single erect finger jabbed against the man's forehead. Narrowed eyes peered down at him, judgmental and cold.[break][break]

"He did a poor job to fail and get caught. We don't need trash like this."[break][break]

She wholeheartedly believed in her own words. There was no need for a useless person. And that included her, too.

Of the many individuals that filled their lowest ranks, there were many types. Even as much as Jayden and the other admins did their best to weed out the weak, there was only so much they could do to strengthen the mettle that undoubtedly existed amongst even the most casual member of Rocket.

[break][break] Tension filled the room as everyone passed their answers around the room, all no doubt in efforts to appease either the Rocket Brass that were present in the room. Jayden did not even have to look at Zev Harcourt to know their answers were identical.

[break][break] There was no other option, lest they want to risk Isaac Merlo to be bred again.

The sight of the dead man left no impact on Circe, but she did hold out her chest proudly when the General God praised her. She did so enjoy being praised like a good little girl.[break][break]

With a pleasant smile on her face, she turned to face jayden cross and said, "If you need me, let me know."[break][break]
