He feels her concern as surely as he can feel every beat of her heart beneath him, every flap of her broad wings against the storm.[break][break] "I'm fine," he croaks. Sweat drips down his brow. He feels lightheaded. "I will be fine. Just need - time."[break][break] He'd pushed himself to his limit in a vain attempt to halt Kyogre in its tracks, but even the power of an Avatar paled against the might of a rampaging leviathan. Now, INFINITY ENERGY pulses like the tide to slowly fill the void he'd created within himself. With a little time, he'd be OK.[break][break] But it was time they didn't have.[break][break] He sees Navy fall into the water. Instinct sees him attempt to grasp the Pale Rider with SHADOW HOLD, to save him from the fate which Cillian feared most... but shadowed tentacles dissipate before they can take full form, and Cillian's vision darkens as he faints. It's a momentary lapse, naught but a few seconds, but it's enough time to miss Tempest Quinn's struggle against the propeller.
