Around you, Poison Tera Crystals, minerals imbued with Dynamax Energy, and more exist for you to mine, harvest, and gather. However, more exists below each power spot. In fact, it is possible to leap into these power spots into dark labyrinthe caves below.[break][break]

“Same story as before.” Says the Warrior as they near the power spot. Below, monsters wait for them. Another lost soul seeks succor. Navy and Airi are that soul’s last hope. This one was an Alolan surfer who disappeared while attending some annual surfing contest in Dewford. It didn’t take long for his Pokemon’s noses to track them here, to the edge of nowhere. Navy’s eyes fall down into the void. They’ve made their preparations. Airi, who looks half goddess and half mortal woman as always, stands ready to go into battle, should the day call for battle.[break][break]
“We gotta stop meetin’ this way.” He teases her with a smile, knowing full well that work calls them to this dangerous task together. Only the best of the best are given these sorts of missions. He wonders just how long it will be before Airi finds herself shackled with responsibility, like so many others have in these trying times. As he readies himself for the plunge, he prays no god will take an interest in her, as gods tend to do those around this battered region.[break][break]
“Here goes nothing.” Navy gazes down into the heart of darkness, steels himself, and jumps.

Airi nods her head at Navy's words, her cornflower orbs staring down intensely at the power spot. She takes a few seconds to recall her first experience inside one of these mysterious vacuums. The pictures of the injured trainer, the gigantic fire lizard and the raging wildfires flashing inside of her head. She could feel her heart fluttering with excitement and nervousness as she comes back into reality. Their last rescue mission was quite the success, so this one should not be any different. She pulls out a tube of her signature rouge lipstick, carefully painting her full, luscious lips with it before sliding it back inside of her bag. She gently massages the product into her lips by slowly rubbing them together for a few seconds before turns glances over at Navy and gives him a cunning smirk.

"If I did not know any better, I would start to believe that you are the one, who keeps requesting me to join you on these escapades,' she laughs, her alluring orbs connecting his eyes for a moment. She wonders if Navy ever experiences any nervousness about exploring the power spots, or if he is simply used to them at this point. Since she has meant him, she has labeled him as a man with a brave heart, but even the bravest Pyroar experiences some uneasiness every once in a while. She stretches her limber and Junoesque body as she prepares to make a leap inside of the power spot.

With little hesitate, she makes a swift and graceful leap into the pool of darkness. Like a poised Liepard, she lands on her feet and takes a couple of strides forward. "So, this is the other place that you were telling me about, huh?" She asks Navy, her keen eyes taking their time to observe the environment. A cool shiver rushing down her entire body. Goodness, this place is a lot darker and disturbing than the last one. She thought to herself.

You may encounter a paranoid Pierce Creighton, one of Hoenn's Scientists, exploring the caves too. Should you approach him, he does not let you come close. The keenest eye may scry blood splatter on his shoes. Despite his haggard appearance, he bestows supplies should you require them. Otherwise, encounter poor bystanders trapped here, like backpackers or even a feral Megalopolan.[break][break]

In her world, he has the heart of a lion. Mayhaps, elsewhere, she is right. His is a wolf’s heart, a creature from an old time with one foot in this world and one in that which came before. Like a wolf, he’s stronger with another. She puts him at ease, with her painted smiles and her strength. Such things, in his experience, rarely go hand in hand. He wonders if he might see Airi’s face among the region’s champion trainers, once she has assembled for herself a good team.[break][break]
“What can I say? I’m a sucker for a pretty face and good chat. Most rangers can only give me one or the other. Part of my job’s recognizing talent when I see it.”[break][break]
At least the words find them whole among gentle ground. Nothing comes for them. Not yet. He allows his Iron Valiant, a painted chrome warrior named Roland, to come out and join them. His pixelated eyes behold Airi as they have beheld many before her. She is designated as one to protect. Ahead of them, the iron knight marches into the darkness holding aloft a glowing sword.[break][break]
“This isn’t the Ultra Deep Sea. Just another place. We’ll go there later, if you want. You’ll have to bring your best.” He leads the way, gunmetal eyes surveying the path ahead and seeing nothing save human tracks.

"And apparently, you have a gifted tongue for sweet talk," Airi laughs, shaking her head at Navy's attempt to flirt with her a bit. It is not her first-time hearing someone mention that it is hard to find someone who is attractive, but also able to keep a decent conversation going, too. She understands the privileges of being a "pretty face" and she does not mind using it as an advantage at time. However, she prefers to charm others with her kind spirit, vivacious personality, and sharp intelligence. As much as she hates to admit it, outer beauty is not everlasting. If one only possesses beauty, what will become of them once it eventually fades away? "So, what you are telling me is that you are some sort of talent scout?" She asks Navy, arching an eyebrow at him. Perhaps, there is a lot more to Navy, then she thought.

Her piercing sapphire eyes, glancing over at the knightly Pokémon Navy summoned to accompany them on their adventure. At first glance, one could easily mistake the majestic Pokémon as a Gallade, but with a keen eyesight one will notice that this particular Pokémon seems to have traits of both Gallade and Gardevoir. If she has to form a hypothesis, then she will say that this valiant knight has to be one of those Paradox Pokémon that she has seen Navy use quite often. "Another Paradox Pokémon, right? A noble knight, nonetheless. Do you know of a secret location to find these rare Pokémon?" she asks him, genuinely curious to hear his response to her question.

The Iron Valiant reminds Airi that is not safe to be traveling through the "dungeon" without a guardian of her own. She retrieves a solo orb from the belt wrapped around her hourglass-shaped waist, summoning her beautiful and elegant Gardevoir. The serena Fairy Queen lets out a soothing cry as she locks eyes with Airi, Navy, and the Iron Valiant, giving them a graceful curtsy. Airi smiles at Latte as the Embrace Pokémon floats over to her side with confidence and sophistication that reflects that of her trainer. Airi shifts her attention towards Navy. "Oh, great. So, this place is nothing compared to the Deep Sea," she giggles.

Even here, TERA CRYSTALS are present. Like a virus, they've spread across the underground. Due to the concentrated dynergy in this place, encounter hallucinations—or hallucinations that become temporarily real by TERA CRYSTALS.[break][break]

And/or encounter a DYNAMAXED/GIGANTAMAXED POKEMON WITH A DYNAMAX SHIELD that must be downed. Regardless, the Pokemon will perish after its transformation. Investigating its carcass will reveal that it has somehow incorporated Dynite Ore onto its body. Though it is no Regi-titan, one may make macabre parallels.[break][break]

“A talent scout?” Her question is met by laughter and those words. “Maybe, though it feels like I’m scouting people for a grift.” A hint of his old cynicism flairs, remembering days when he watched the news and thought everything they fed him was a crock of bologna. He supposes that looking at it that way is the way a rational person might look at it, but they do not live in rational times. Rationality went out the window somewhere around the time sleeping gods first awoke again and chose for themselves mortal champions.[break][break]
“Come one, come all, jump into terrible danger. The pay’s good but not as good as the danger.” The line of thought passes the time, he gives it that. Roland sees Airi’s Gardevoir and hangs close by. When he was first born, he was chrome. Somewhere along the way, he allowed Navy to paint him. He’s painted up in the colors of a Gardevoir in the throes of its mega evolution, a homage to a brother long dead. Roland stays near Latte, like a knight protecting its charge. Though his blade rests at his side, it stands poised to attack anything that comes out of the darkness.[break][break]
“Paradox Pokemon? Eh, they’re all over Area Zero and the Ultra Deep Sea. Lucky for the region, Goode’s got both spots under tight lock and key. Wouldn’t do to have your average trainer running around with them. They’re really hard to train. I should know, I’ve got a few.”[break][break]
Ahead, they see the man they are meant to find. Like so many before him, he’s half-fused into the wall. Even Navy, who is no medical professional, can tell that it’s not a perfect fusion. Pulling a knife from its scabbard on his chest, he gets to work cutting him free of the dynite ore. He seems dazed, eyes glazed over. Nothing comes from the darkness for them, perhaps sensing the power of the two Pokemon accompanying the humans.[break][break]
“Here. Make sure he’s got nothing pressing wrong with him, then we’ll carry the guy out.” Navy gently sits the man down, leaving him to Airi for now while he scans both sides of the tunnel.

"You find that hilarious, huh?" Airi laughs along with Navy. She did not wish to insult him or anything along those lines and it is good to see that he did not seem to be too offended by her question. "Hmm, I see. That's an interesting way to describe it," she adds, taking a few seconds to think about his word choice. She did not bother to ask him to elaborate on his words. Instead, she decides to keep it pushing in order for them to focus on the task ahead of them. The sooner that the two of them can complete this rescue mission, the better.

Although, it does seem that Navy takes it upon himself to give her more of a clue of what he was hinting about in his previous remark. "Fair enough.
