ROCK-TYPE POKEMON GAIN BENEFITS! This includes Pokémon with DUAL TYPINGS that include the WATER-TYPE.[break][break]

• ROCK-TYPE pokemon evolutionary lines have their evolutions discounted by 50%.
• ROCK-TYPE pokemon evolutionary lines have a higher chance of possessing 5 moves, egg moves, hidden abilities, and being shiny.
• NOSEPASS can be sold to the black market for 100 PD, while WATER-TYPE POKEMON can be sold for 2X THE PRICE.

BATTLE OF SOOTOPOLIS MAIN EVENT — Characters that have completed "The First Wave: Prelude" threads for the Battle of Mossdeep & Battle of Sootopolis will be eligible to partake in the main event: "Battle of Sootopolis".[break][break]

Current plans have Mossdeep and Sootopolis sharing the same event. Characters in Mossdeep will be able to enter the Sootopolis main event in the second round.[break][break]

CLAMPERL DIVING (SUMMER ACTIVITY) — Off Slateport City's coast, Hoenn's divers have organized a Clamperl diving activity for trainers and their Pokemon who are willing to brave the sea's depths. Whatever they find in the sea can be be taken as spoils for their efforts.[break][break]

MANTINE SURFING (SUMMER ACTIVITY) — Slateport's beach is lined with saddled Mantine. A surfing instructor named Angus awaits at the shore, waiting to see anyone would be brave and willing to try Mantine surfing tricks.[break][break]

After practicing your tricks, Angus implores you to dazzle the onlooking spectators with your newfound skills. Every trick he has taught or demonstrated has a set amount of points associated with them. He asks you all to aim for the highest score![break][break]

BELOW ARE SEVERAL EVENTS CRAFTED AND MODERATED BY MEMBERS. Although staff collaborate with members to run these events, they are mostly conducted entirely by their player-creators.

MELODY OF MEMORY (AERO) — A new resort island is slowly developed by the waters between SOOTOPOLIS AND EVER GRANDE. It's decorated, it's festive, and has the magical invitation that incites people to have fun.[break][break]

While this may seem like an innocent development, in war, everything has a purpose. The island doubles as a defensive barricade against Rocket's Sootopolis stronghold... and music can be the sharpest weapon.[break][break]

WATER OPS (TEAL) — A sudden crisis has struck Sea Mauville, causing the nature preserve to slowly sink into the sea. Home to a diverse array of pokemon, the loss of this sanctuary would be devastating. Furthermore, recent discoveries indicate that Sea Mauville contains valuable resources and critical intel for the League that must not be lost. Adding to the urgency, Tera Crystals have mysteriously begun to emerge beneath the ocean floor, potentially influencing the situation...

THE SAFARI ZONE HAS REFRESHED with a new selection. This new selection will last until AUGUST 31ST, 11:59PM PST. Below, you can see the new rotation of Pokemon that you can capture. The previous safari selection's threads will be forcibly archived by AUGUST 7TH, 11:59PM PST.
