As Corviknight wandered off, pecking at anything that aroused its interest, Adrian stayed back to give it some room. Yet he kept an eye on it, although that would cost him. In the background of this scene a Bisharp was poised to strike should it so choose. And it had made every indication thus. Adrian narrowly avoids the creature as it pursues him zealously, a portion of his jacket sleeve left in tattered ruin as the wristblade catches the fabric but slightly. As remarkable as it was he managed to avoid injury, it very quickly delved into a flurry of blows and strikes that Adrian was forced to try and navigate around. Adrenaline alone guided him. Which was enough to grant him the delusion he was unharmed during the series of slashes, though he was nicked here and there where the fabric of his clothes were tarnished, though only barely so. But the edges were so sharp, the wounds so faint as to hardly be distinguished from the tug of his jacket's fabric. But he was in full panic regardless. I need to send out a pokemon. he knew full well if he tried to strike back, it would cost him. But with the nimble, dexterous foe before him, it was all he could do to keep from being turned into ribbons. A shadow fell over him from the rear. The grating squawk that pierced the air sent a shiver up his back as he stumbled backwards, losing his footing and digging his elbow into the ground as he collapsed. Overhead Reign had returned at last, a welcome surprise though it was. Before it rarely showed any signs of good will, far from wanting to protect Adrian; it wanted to perhaps be free of him, to return home... Yet Reign's full might was brought to bear against Bisharp, massive talons raised to rake the creature even as it struck a defensive poise, the sound of steel grinding and aggrieved, anguished grunts all that could be heard. When Adrian looked up, he could see the Bisharp's arms had been gashed, fissures where Reign had lashed out at it. Bisharp would flee, eager to find easier prey. Reign turned on Adrian with a look that could kill, although he noticed it too had a scar or two of its own, though nothing so as to have him worried. "Thanks buddy." But he was met with another silent glare as he rose to his full height. A very mean birb who deserves a family.Solo Wild Encounters: 1 of 3(Wild Bisharp encounter has been skipped.)
