The Demon had walked to the very top of the Infinite Tower, which was heralded in the Kingdom of Dragonor. Alec liked Dragon Pokemon in the real world, and even though he had tried something different for this game, he still couldn't stop silently admiring the structure of the tower as he walked up it's spiral steps. His white hair bounced as he continued up the steps, his clawed feet scarping against the stairs as he continued to climb them. [break][break]

The Demon boy had reached the top of the tower, knowing full well that it would be a more ideal place to do battle. Once he was done fighting, he'd just go about wandering the tower and search for any loot that he would be able to find. However, he was more into gaining more powerful skills in this game, and fighting would be the best way to do that. Whether it was just one person, or more, it didn't matter to him. It didn't matter if he'd die in the game either. It'd just show that he would need to get stronger in order to face more powerful opponents, and this was the place to do just that, he felt. As he had seen the wide expanse that was the rooftop of the tower, a devilish grin flashed across his face as he looked around. "Now, this is a great spot to have some fun." Alec had said, as a soft wind would blow. [break][break]

Little did the Demon Mage know though that someone would be coming up the great tower to greet the Demon in waiting. If more than one person had decided to show, than that would be fine by him. More people to dance with the devil and kill only made Alec even more giddy with anticipation. [break][break]

Nightingale stalked after the lone target that had begun to scale the Infinite Tower, bow drawn and at the ready as he silently pursued them, thinking them easy prey. They're a Mage, so probably Psychic-affinity... This should be a cake walk.

Thanks to his high stealth talents, Adrian made nary a sound even as he approached within three yards of his quarry, however he dared not move any closer. As they reached the summit, he kept back and stood watch from the shadows. They were beginning to search for loot nearby...

Knocking an arrow, he steadied his bow...

...Drew back the arrow and...!

As the Demon Mage had looked about for loot as well as players who could serve as a challenge, Alec felt a very small dull pain in his shoulder, quickly pulling out what would be an Arrow that struck him. He gave a small groan, showing irritation, quickly turning whilst pointing his wand at the very same direction from where the arrow had come from, casting his Freeze Dry Spell at the unknown attacker. It was apparent that whoever it was, was in fact a Ranger, given that an Arrow had struck him. He hadn't fought one of those kinds of players yet, but I guess now was time as better than ever.[break][break]

A small white ball quickly shot from the tip of his wand, and once it had made it's way to where the unknown attacker was hiding, it had began to rapidly freeze the area, and hopefully the pesky Ranger with it. "I don't know who you are ... but I hope you can entertain me," Alec had said, his voice changing into a more demonic-like voice. A grin flashed across the Demonic Mage's face, hoping that the Ranger had heard him clearly.[break][break]

"Oh? Are you not entertained?" Adrian felt the spell connect, the hoarfrost attempting to find a foothold on him to apply a freeze effect, though to no avail. It had hampered his movements only just, but thankfully he had a longer reach.

Knocking another arrow, Nightingale began to shimmer with a purple miasma before his character went translucent, fading into the shadows around them. In truth he was still there, re-positioning himself in the distance to their left flank.

Once positioned his arrow began to pulsate with a dark energy of its own, rising in intensity as the time began to dwindle down before it...!

The demon mage raised an eyebrow at the Ranger's words. He wasn't sure exactly who this Ranger was exactly because of his in-game appearance, but he couldn't help but think he somehow knew him from somewhere. However, that wasn't important. What was important was killing him and staying alive. "You like to talk big at the start of the battle, eh? Well, I'll make you eat those words." Alec's last segment of words shifted into his demonic tone of voice. He really like used that function for this virtual reality game. [break][break]

Alec's face had changed to a more serious expression once the other player had vanished in front of him into nothingness. Alec knew thatmove quite well, since his Dragapult in real life knew Phantom Force. It was a pretty strong attack as well as having an advantage of not being able to get it by practically any attack. However, there was one move the mage knew that would possibly work. [break][break]

Alec had chosen to cast his Calm Mind Spell, increasing his Special Attack as well as his Special Defense Stat. A small curl of his lips had turned into a smile and then awaited for the Ranger to make his move and attack as he would reappear. He would rue the day to mess with him. "Come and get me!" Alec had said, hoping to egg him on! What would in store for the Ranger wouldn't be pleasant. Alec had to make sure though that his timing would be precise in order for him to pull this off. Silent, he remains prone against the ground, crawling out everyone's line of sight until the time is right. The sound of battle clamors not too far from his position and he takes his time to find his prey.

Alec announces that he wants someone to come and get him and Fernando's bound to oblige.

The message is instant, a hotkey that reveals his location to his private party chat.

'noob mage, ice, loud, ez kill LMFAO'

Still hidden, Fernando hides behind one of the tower's pillars and aims his shot. Only after he pulls the trigger does the ZAP CANNON rip across the sky. For now, Fernando remains oblivious to the transparent phantom image of Adrian's avatar, more in-line to attack the only obvious target available.

The moment the attack was fired she would dive out from one of the adjacent pillars, charging across the battleground and using accelerock to close the distance on the devilish mage.

She would swing her sword with an upward curve, aiming to sink beneath the ribs of alec foster.

Interrupting pvp fights had become rather lucrative, and the black knight would laugh as she was ready for what came next.

Oi, that's my target, you nerds. Adrian's toggling over to the warrior, unable to target the other Ranger due to obstructed Line-of-Sight. So instead he marks the tank, hoping to disrupt their advance.

Fading from his ephemeral phantom form, Adrian's power coalesces at the tip of a shaft knocked in his bow, which levels and directs the arrowhead towards _togekill_ as he looses the shot...

It screams as it rips through the air, followed by a thick miasma before striking the combatant.

These two seemed to be coordinating their attacks, as it was passing strange they should pass so close to each other betwixt the pillars without offering each other the taste of their own medicine.

He would've expected such underhanded tactics from a rogue. But these two? They hardly had an excuse to play like your typical bottomfeeder.

Alec had not expected more people to show up. First cam the warrior who had quickly came from out of nowhere. Alec was unable to react and had been hit by the blade, having been swung back by the attack. Alec quickly took his clawed like feet down on the stone floor, attempting to brace himself rather than just falling with the momentum. It was then that Alec had seen the Zap Cannon having been fired at him. He had attempted to dodge, knowing full well that if he had taken the hit, he would not only take damage but be paralyzed as well, which would put him at a greater disadvantage. [break][break]

"And just who in the hell are you two!? Get lost!" Alec had said, not showing any kindness to the newcomers who had just attacked. He was too busy stating his displeasure with their sudden appearance that he did not pay attention to the Ranger had originally planned to kill ALONE had unleashed a Phantom Force Arrow onto the Warrior. At least until they decide to target Bailey, which in hand makes it Fernando's business. His own aggro swaps immediately and he tries to trace the PHANTOM FORCE back to the source. The game's auto targeting aids him in just the right position as his pistol lines up a shot.

He pulls the trigger and another ZAP CANNON rips into the air.

Togekiss cussed in chat as the phantom force chunked a portion of her health bar, but there was no time to retaliate against the unseen attacker. There was an order of operations—beat the shit out of the player that was paralyzed and get them out of the way, then focus the stragglers.

She called down draco meteor on alec foster . The faster they could get rid of the mage, the better.

Their ranged back-liner targeted him next; this time he's prepared for it, taking the moment their line-of-sight matches up again to perform a counter move. In the selfsame moment their ZAP CANNON shreds across the field, Adrian knocks an arrow that has attributed itself after the same effect. It drills a path to intercept their ability.

MIRROR MOVE

In this act, it all came down to who got lucky. He'd have to leave the mage to fend for themselves. Even as all this was transpiring, he began shifting his position towards the pillars and thus the ledge of the Infinite Tower. I wonder if it'd work...
