he comes back after he has died. "seventh time's the charm," he mumbles, still knowing that the likelihood of him pulling the sword out of the stone is near zero. trying's free though, so he'll try this until he gets tired.

kyle walks up to the sword and stares at it. multiple players have also tried and failed the rng roll, and he's about to do it twice in a row. his hand holds the hilt of the sword, watching the ribbon wrap around his arm.

"here goes," he mutters to himself, hyping him up before he readies himself to reappear at the spawn.

his hand grips the handle of the sword before he attempts to pull it out.

She didn't expect to have died when she failed to pull the sword from the stone. She was very much surprised and very much now aware of how things worked. She needed to pray to ever god for the luck of a lifetime to strike her body in order to win this, else she'll be seeing herself respawn in the nearest safe zone. With this knowledge in mind Bambi was looking forward to coming to this cursed sword every single day until it was in her grasp and out of that stone. Nothing would stop her other than the event being over before she could pull it out. the mage arrives at the scene with the most energetic, if not obnoxious, laugh. he saunters in, positions himself right in front of the sword, and yells at the inanimate object to assert his dominance.

"dying is for losers!"

his hand wraps around the hilt, and so does the ribbon around it on his arm. priam tries to pluck the sword out from where it is stuck in and promptly dies from attempting to do so.

"This is ridiculous!", Rikiya blurted out, as he waited his turn in line again. Just like every other day, the people in line before him tried and failed to free the Honedge from the stone it was embedded in. Every person was just another soul sucked into the blade, for whatever purpose, if there was any. Though the effort was 'free' he couldn't help but question if it would be worth it. Still, it seemed like such a brutally slim chance to actually pull the stupid thing.

With his turn again, Rikiya attempted to release the spectral sword from its prison.
