At this point, Rikiya was in the area just to taunt those who were still in pursuit of the sword, those who were in his kingdom. He had been the second player to get the sword, before the requirements to pull it were eased. After that, one player had managed to pull the sword. Still, he managed to get it under the hardest conditions, and he was not a n00b with a skinny wiener.

Now he had to come up with ways to fuck with everyone queued to pull the sword.

[attr="class","thread"] This was annoying, frustrating, and all kinds of upsetting. She had assumed the sword was an utter joke, something that everyone just laughs as the newbies kill themselves on. And yet, after coming back a few weeks later she finds that many people had pulled out the sword? What if she hadn't given up? What if she had actually tried every single day? This annoyance drew her back to the sword, letting out a soft sigh.

She stared down at it, with narrowed eyes. The only thing stopping her from getting it eventually was her will to keep trying, and right now she had all the desire to show this dumb sword who was boss. Quickly wrapping her hands around the hilt, she yanked heavily.

he already managed to get kingship, but somehow, the option to pull it remains. it was already a habit that he still returns in an attempt to pull it out for the thirty-sixth time.

kyle walks up to the sword and stares at it. multiple players have also tried and failed the rng roll, and he's about to do it twice in a row. his hand holds the hilt of the sword, watching the ribbon wrap around his arm.

"here goes," he mutters to himself, hyping him up before he readies himself to reappear at the spawn.

his hand grips the handle of the sword before he attempts to pull it out.

Honestly, the real world was sucking him away from here. Unsurprised to see a truckload of experience points in his status bar upon his return, he immediately warped to Valora, the better to get a handle on the situation.

In the time that he was gone, a new queen and another king had been crowned—the latest king, having finally gotten the sword out on a perfect pull no less, or so the rumors were to be believed.

Now that he was back here again, it was time to try and try.

And fucking-ass hell TRY, because honestly, he wanted a piece of a certain kingdom to himself!

He had honestly lost track at this point.

How many times had he come forth to pull—no, drag—no, yank the sword out from the stone? He wondered if there were any other people who had been crowned and deemed worthy, but still, it was just… what was he going to do about this?

Shaking his head from side to side, he fell in line and watched as the long line of people attempting to grab the thing out from the rock exploded into tiny, pixelated death.

At last, it was his turn again. Sighing, he shook his head before walking up to the hilt, glinting mockingly at him, before attempting to hoist it out of the rock.

Try, try, and try again!

Okay so that aggressive approach didn’t work.

But holy shit, it was almost the end of the event and he still hadn’t budged from the countless failed attempts he had gone through! Was he going to yield that quickly? That easily?

Absolutely not.

Squaring his shoulders, he grit his teeth as he warped his way over to Valora, and made tracks for the glinting hilt stuck in the stone. Was it just him or did the thing look deeply embedded in the rock before him?

Shrugging, he reached down and began to pull.

Only a few more days left before the end of the event…
