"That does not surprise me." she states plainly, as it is not uncommon for her to be the only one in the room with such limitations on their own person. She has learned to accept that it is simply a part of her life. There is no changing it.

The woman is familiar but only barely, Isra nods at her politely. "I do thank you for obliging and apologize for any inconvenience, I look forward to our battle." there's no real emotion in the statement, though it sounds sweet nonetheless. The woman is formal if nothing else, her bow slight and only enough to count.

With the flick of her wrist the first of her pokemon emerges into the hall that she assumes will be their battle field. The ghost dances and prances about in front her. He awaits the battle as much as she does, the cackle and grin on his face enough to say as such.

"It is my understanding that this is to be a fairly traditional battle, no?' he looks t confirm aloud, just in case.

Isra watches the woman release her pokemon, one that she herself owned but rarely took out into the field with her. There were many in her lineup but few compared to the ghost that took the field for her tonight. The banette was one of her greatest allies. The pokemon's sheer experience was almost impossible to compare to.

"yes, the sooner the better."

There is a moment's pause as she thinks, the ghost swaying his weight from foot to foot. She doesn't need command him, not really but he waits anyway. "if you don't mind,"

The woman whistles a set of notes and the ghost grins. A twirl, a flourish, and he is surrounded by a flurry of blue flame. The eery will-o-wisps circling his body.

And then he waits.

The banette and trainer alike grin, there is something eerily similar in both. As f they are amused in the same way and there is something more candid in the grin than most see out of either. The shell of Isra drops for a split second before it returns, the comedic nature of the ghost flickers away before he steps forward.

Midstep he is gone.

The nature of his phantom force draws him into the ghostly midplane, a place few but ones of his ilk ever see. The ghostly flame of his willow-o-wisps join him, leaving nothing behind him in the hall that they will call a battle field.

Isra looks to her opponent with curious eye, for she knows what to expect of this battle.

Do they?

The ghost cackles from his hiding place, faint and unsettling.

They wait, because Isra and her pokemon know the value of patience. How drawing it out can have an effect all its own. She wonders, does the pokemon pull the arrow more taught with every second that passes?Does it grow lax as nerves settle in? How does the faint chuckle of the banette in the distance effect it?

How about as it grows closer?

And better yet, when it steps out on the bird's right. The energy seeps from the crack in the planes, seeps from the fabrics of the doll body that has been seeping in it. It seeps from the will-o-wisps that had clung to him and followed him in now dispersing about the field on the waves of phantom energy.

For a battle with Isra Nightingale is always about more than just the move. Her pokemon's phantom force is not the only threat now, so too are his ghostly will-o-wisps placed like ghostly bombs before the pokemon.

The bird fumbles the release but the arrows hits true, the ghost cringing at the contact, recoiling but holding his ground as the other pokemon flees. It runs right into the mine like will-o-wisps, scattering the field, near impossible to avoid without caution and care.

Isra whsitles and the ghost finds his bearings, unable to give in to the weight of his captured shadow. Instead he holds the doll hands of his out in front of him, ghostly darkness coiling and forming before him. The shadow ball soars across the battle field, seeking the bird without mercy for its burning wounds.
