Zac had eaten Pyukumuku sashimi before when visiting his family in Alola, and hadn't enjoyed the experience. The flesh was rubbery and tasted like wet leather, and the famous, flavorful innards were like a physical assault on his taste buds. If you've ever been rolled while surfing and ended up with salt water up your nasal cavity, then you can skip trying Pyukumuku guts, because it's more of the same.

Hesitantly, he grabbed the black and white bun from his friend. "Yeah, sure, uh, I'll give it a try." He sniffed it. There was none of the rank seaweed smell. Good sign. Not intent on deconstructing this one, Zac tore the bun in half and took a bite of the bread and cream all in one. His eyes opened wide. "Hey that's not bad!" he said, surprised at the flavors. "Those boys in the test kitchen really know their stuff!" he chewed, tasting coconut cream, salted caramel, and something rare and dusky. "Is this Octillery ink?" he asked, amazed.

"Thanks guys," Zac said, their dessert prep well and truly half saved by the vicious heroism of Oscar and Priam's Pokemon. "Ki you're mates look like they could use a bit of management. Hey! They're getting soda all over the floor!" Zac knew the dangers of a sticky floor. Thankfully, he had brought along his Oranguru, who was a master of management.

The dour monkey took one look at the disorganized kitchen and set to work, hooting and hitting the Pokemon with his leaf fan. In moments they were grouped into sections, the mise en was all in its rightful plus, and the kitchen was running like a well-oiled Klang.

"You can come too mate!" Zac said, happy that he had a way back into Priam's friendship after their bungled date. As much as he had been in the right he still couldn't stand being disliked. "We can all go!" Zac suggested, not wanting to let go of the trio. This hug wasn't over yet. "A big ruin hunting adventure. You in, Ki?"

Meanwhile, a feral Skwovet had gotten into the trailer and was scooping some discarded berries into its mouth as if Winter was just around the corner. "Hey! Someone grab that little bugger before he gets away with half our desert prep!"

Zac was there in an instant. Tea forgotten, as there was nothing more important than a friend in need. The giant wrapped his arms around the trio, engulfing them in his loving embrace. "We can, uh, have a few drinks and go explore some ancient pyramids?" Zac suggested. "Who needs deadbeat dads when we can find you a new mummy!"

While the group hugged it out, Zac's Passimian and his borrowed Obstaehoongie finished the last of the preparations on the order and set it on the counter. They knew not to interrupt this pure, tender moment.

Zac grabbed a bowl of floor salad for himself, following Priam's sterling example. "Don't give it all away though, we need some for the burger!" Zac's Sceptile sliced up the greens with a Leaf Storm, heaping them on Ki's toasted buns.

Salvaging some fruit from the demolished freezer, Farfetch'd and Flapple Cut and pulverized the peaches into a jelly pulp for dessert. "In fancy restaurants they recycle leftovers all the time and just call it the Dish of the Day, or the Chef's Special or whatever."
