He squints his eyes and knits his brows close together beneath the helmet knowing that the woman’s deflecting his question with a short and vague answer. His detective instincts tells him that there’s more to her purpose that she lets on; however, she’s yet to treat him aggressively despite her somewhat hostile tone.

The Pokken Rider doesn’t answer, instead he keeps an eye on her two pokemon; though it’s not apparent thanks to his helmet. The sound of the drawer closing is subtle but doesn’t go unnoticed. Before he can even question it though, he hears what seems to be machines whirring close by like something had just been powered on.

He turns towards the hallway as a large Magnezone floats by – electricity sparking from its magnets. The sense of danger lurking builds as the giant floating magnet turns its attention towards the group, clearly upset that someone has encroached into its territory.

Clicking his tongue, he pulls from his belt what appears to be some sort of plain looking pass of sorts and slips it into his belt. A loud pop can be heard as pieces of his armor split off, fading into white as if it were being pulled by a pokeball while other pieces of armor materialize into the air before fitting onto him.

Pulling both arms as heat and fire seem to magically produce from the palm of his hands, he unleashes a massive torrent of flame towards the Magnezone, consuming the steel-type pokemon in an inferno. As the flame seems to wrap around it, the helmeted vigilante unclips a pokeball and quickly tosses it at the Magnezone, capturing it.

Hendrix is, in many ways, indebted to Macro Cosmos since every opportunity he’s been given since childhood were given by the Galarian conglomerate. While he may have shirked from his obligations of joining the company by becoming an Interpol Officer, the redhead vigilante hasn’t forgotten his debts. Thus, he rushes to the bank upon hearing potential attacks by robbers through his police scanner.

The Pokken Rider quickly arrives on scene thanks to his Charizard’s hasted flight. Standing atop the roof of the bank, he recalls the orange winged lizard back into its pokeball, staring down towards the streets from above.

Staring down from above with the eyes from his helmet glowing a bright red, he spots a pink-haired girl talking with a nearby officer. “You’re the Lilycove Gym Leader? Thank Arceus. It looks like we’ve arrived too late. The robbers are already inside holding people hostage inside. We’re currently trying to figure out their demands.”

Hearing the officer’s words from afar, the helmeted vigilante’s eyes stop glowing as he moves away, looking down into the bank from above its skylight. Scanning the area, the hero can see a gun pointed at one of the bank tellers – obviously in retaliation for alerting the police of their presence.

”Ally Switch.” the hero utters from above. In a flash, the hero’s suit glows a bright neon green before vanishing, the bank teller taking over his place. There’s confusion in the robber’s eye as a loud “WHAT THE FUCK?!” can be heard. Gunshots ring out from within, but the Pokken Rider is fine, having wrested the gun up and away from him.

With a quick twist and a single punch towards the man’s elbow, he breaks the robber’s arm, causing him to let out a sharp cry as he loosens his grip over the pistol, dropping it.

The Gym Leader is quick in having his pokemon attack. ”Steelwing, start it up!” he commands. The Skarmory lets out a massive screech as it uses its sturdy body to deflect the Scyther’s attack, flinging itself into the air with a single flap as it grasps onto the Incineroar’s shoulders.

The Doublade quickly hovers over to the Incineroar, letting the fiery tiger grab onto its grips while keeping its sashes away to avoid harming its wielder.

Pulling the Incineroar’s hands with its body, the Doublade parries the Leavanny’s X-Scissor with an Aerial Ace, giving the Skarmory enough time to shed some of its steely feathers with Autotomize.

Taking off in great speed with the armed Incineroar, the Skarmory uses its greater speed to hover above as the Incineroar’s fiery belt ignites into greater flame, unleashing a Flamethrower from above. The Skarmory is smart enough to put some distance between them and the floor as its enough to inflict damage on the bug-type pokemon and not the building itself.

Hendrix can hear cooing somewhat close by the stairs. As he slowly approaches, he looks around with curiosity. It doesn’t take very long for him to spot a baby rufflet sitting comfortably in a large nest. It lets out some cries as if wanting its parent.

Knowing how territorial and defensive a braviary can get, Hendrix shrugs his shoulders and keeps moving on.

Suited up for the occasion, Pokken Rider can be conspicuously spotted amongst the swarm of Cinderace. His intention is obvious; rather than having the pokemon attract him, he hopes to attract one of them.

The vigilante’s movements are swift as the Rotom in his suit uses its Telekinesis to propel the hero high into the air. Spinning mid-air, he intercepts one of the fiery balls with his own kick, using the Rotom’s Overheat to send the ball high into the air in a fiery inferno which then promptly pops like fireworks.

Since Hoenn’s never-ending struggle with Team Rocket to its sudden interdimensional war with the Megalopolans, the Pokken Rider has remained ever vigilant – going as far to scour the old GMH-developed power plant within New Mauville. After all, even the estranged and fleeing aliens might find some usefulness from the abandoned technology laying around.

The hero emerges from the shadows with the eyes from his helmet glowing a bright red, the suit’s active camouflage fading. His movement is swift and silent, peering over at the mysterious woman digging through an office desk. ”What do you think you’re doing?” he says, finally revealing himself.

Despite his casual reveal, the vigilante maintains a guarded stance against both the Houndoom and the Solrock.

It’s bad etiquette, looking into people’s past without their permission, but Hendrix doesn’t care. Even if Team Rocket had been dismantled, there are certainly sympathizers out in the world; after all, crime isn’t something someone can give up so freely – even if the person he is looking into is a fashion icon of sorts.

Standing in front of a storefront within Mauville City, the ex-Interpol officer pushes past the door blocking his way. A subtle, yet loud enough bell echoes throughout as he steps in. ”Hello?” he calls out, waiting for someone within the store to welcome him.

He leisurely stands around with both hands hidden within his jacket’s pockets. There’s a sense of caution and trepidation as he waits, unsure as to what might happen if he were to start a confrontation; however, as a former Interpol officer and a current vigilante, he had to make sure that no funds would lead their way back into the shady organization.

Hendrix's eyes wrinkle close together at the sight of a ghostly visage. Unwilling to deal with the paranormal with groceries in hand, he pays it no mind and continues his wandering loiter around the complex.

The vigilante has made a habit of patrolling Slateport’s night market, even in his civilian alter-ego. Ever since the city’s destruction and restoration, crime has only become more rampant in the portside town; after all, there’s a profit to be made smuggling by boat.

As expected, screams of distress could be heard off in the distance. Finding himself situated in an empty alleyway, the helmeted hero puts on a peculiar looking belt and, holding a small but strange looking device in one hand, hovers it over the belt.

”AUTHORIZED”” a voice of acknowledgement can be heard from within the small device.

Slipping it into the belt, a loud pop can be heard as pieces of armor emerge from the belt itself much like how a Pokemon might emerge from a pokeball. Electricity sparks from the armor pieces as they quickly strap and conform onto the vigilante and within a few seconds, the Pokken Rider emerges inconspicuously from the empty alley.

Rushing his way through, the plaza, he immediately spots a masked man clinging to the side of a floating Dhelmise who’s clearly directing some type of antagonism towards the man below him.

Pressing against his belt, the hero’s armor begins to glow a bright neon green before in a flash, he disappears, leaving the gawking man in his original place. The Pokken Rider stares upwards at the masked individual, pointing over at himself with a thumb. ”You’re going to have to deal with me if you think you can just threaten around civilians.”

The Abomasnow lets out a massive cry as its body begins to glow with an icy blue light. Spreading its arms out with its bellow, the light scatters from its body, causing the surrounding rocks and ground to become caged in ice. The Sheer Cold unleashed by the yeti moves at such an alarming speed that the Pokken Rider quickly leaps towards the black-haired man, pushing him with a powerful shove.

In mere seconds, ice wraps around the hero’s legs as his cursing is swiftly cut off, now enraptured in ice.

Seeing its opposition now frozen, the Abomasnow stomps its way over, grunting like it was laughing. Standing over the Pokken Rider, it raises its arms high towards the ceiling, ready to shatter the helmeted vigilante with all its might! Yet, its arms hang in the air as heat suddenly pulsates out from where the encaged hero is.

After the first pulse, a second pulse comes through… then nothing but heat begins to wash over. The sudden burning sensation causes the Abomasnow to hesitate and take a step back as the ice surrounding the Pokken Rider begins to melt away. The neon-green portion of his suit begins to glow brightly much like the red eyes over the helmet.

The Pokken Rider’s right armored gauntlet begins to glow an even brighter red as heat sharply emanates from it. Reeling his fist back, he strikes out into the Abomasnow’s gut, unleashing a powerful Overheat from his fist. With a single blow, the surrounding ice within the cave melts away through the heat and there’s nothing left of the Abomasnow aside from charred ash.
