[attr="class","light"]zenji was only appointed for a short-time. in that time he's had enough to read through old league files. there was one that stood out to him, LILLIAN GLASS, the president of silph co. a strong woman who was bounded by wheelchair during the SLATEPORT INVASION. a historical event that will never be forgotten.

sadly, she was no LILLIAN GLASS. she was still a child and sending her in--hell having her be here--was too much of a liability. either way, the plan would have to be shifted a little.

now, surprisingly, zenji was unaware of her disability. a lack of attention-to-detail on his part, but it was nothing he would apologize for. "your physical limitation won't be a hindrance, but i will apologize for not taking notice; you can stay behind." it would seem he'd have to take care of this part himself.

"those men of yours will be subtracted and given to me, a large group will bring too much attention if we plan on breaking inside. the smaller the better." by thinning John Sullivan's men, this was zenji's own way of showing how much he trusted the boy's ability. this was a time to prove that his trust in the young man was right.

"chryssa glasgow, while you're working on that project. you will alert me immediately the moment you're done." having her stay behind to help those currently working on reversing the sound was okay for the time being. while she was working no that zenji would be leading John Sullivan's group.

[attr="class","light"]standing from his seat, his drink in hand, zenji would begin to make his way to the door. "i'm gonna head out for the night. i have some business to attend to." raising his drink to the others, he'd say with a slight smile, "thank you all for you continuous hard work." and so he would make his exit.

[attr="class","light"]porygon remained vigilant. watching intently as everything, making an insightful note for later. "head ranger, elite, and councilman." well they were all definitely in the right hands. he had little to worry about then. "i trust in them to do what's needed, so i hold little worry." his job wasn't needed then. there was little he needed to uncover.

"the only thing i can tell you is that, being an artifical pokemon, i don't think silvally is capable of mega evolution." that was just an assumption based on observation and research. "but that's just mere assumption due to what we know so far about mega evolution." looking back to the silvally, he'd add, "but i think anything's possible, and silvally is living proof of that." a manmade pokemon? it was still unfathomable.

"what else do you have for me, anything earthshattering besides a chimera pokemon?"

FERNANDO SILPH

[attr="class","light"]zenji's expression slightly lit up with glee. what a unique pokemon silvally was. he could tell it was in good hands. "i'm not much of a battler, so this silvally was lucky to fall into such hands as yours." FERNANDO SILPH would then speak of another interest that caught zenji's ear, "in exchange for goodies? i'll have a blanket and a pillow ready for you."

especially if it he brought an interesting treat. it was a fair exchange. something to fulfill his mundane time. it was always nice to have a side project every now and then. if there was one thing he appreciated the league for it was their constant amassment of projects.

"if i can add one more thing to our agreement," he'd begin to walk back to his desk, "bring your silvally with you. let's have a test run sometime with a battle. i've the perfect pokemon to aid in its training." plus, he could help with adding onto the data himself. the best way to gain results was to mine for it with your own two hands. "besides, when do you ever find the chance to place it into action?" we wouldn't the poor chimera growing rusty.

while discussing of silvally. enji would remember to keep those goodies fernando mentioned in the back of his mind for now. he wondered what else the councilman possessed. "oh, and by the way, i'll do my best to keep my eye out for any drives that may come up. the excavation team have a knack for finding unique items during their digs."

he'd shove his hand into the youth's face. trying to get him off, "y-you're--" a hiccup would follow, interrupting his train of thought. "hell was that?" he'd look around, unaware that he was the source of the noise. once more he'd hiccup. "litten, there's something here! ready your em--" hiccup, "--ber!" he'd come to slump over the youth, barely able to stand.

he'd point at the woman before them, "use emburp!"

"the naming isn't made for notoriety. it is a case identifier, which is what we use to differentiate one case entity from another." whether this name made it out to the media or not held little concern for zenji. especially when the name holds a strong meaning to this individual particularly due to the disappearance of pokemon.

both she and doug were on the right track, he'll give them that. "you're both right on the mark," zenji responded, continuing, "our data intercept technology unit department has dissected the song piece by piece. hidden within it was some form of subliminal message--along with a dash of perish song--and covered all by the sound of a violin playing over the recording. like a swan song, it was made to ensure the victim would never wake up again by instilling a subconscious desire to never want to." thankfully, they needn't worry about those afflicted with the swan song. "we have a team currently working on reversing the those afflicted."

for dealing with that part wasn't their job. "our job here is to rescue the pokemon that were captured," zenji said. he would change the slide once more, this time showcasing two locations. "lilycove's radio tower station and lilycove's hall of symphony," it was believed these two distinct locations were where the potential perpetrator possibly resided. "we believe the pokemon are being held captive in one of these locations, whereas the perpetrator may be residing in the other. both locations pose a great threat, but you two..." chryssa glasgow and John Sullivan, "...have been chosen to lead two separate operations."

the goal was to pincher our enemy.

[attr="class","light"]his ability to shape pokemon weren't just superficial, they were remarkable. "for this pokemon to have been manmade..." he'd examine the side of its head. "this just shows there are more threats out there than just the rocket," zenji muttered, "thankfully they're gone, but who would go so far as to make something so fascinating yet odious..." and then there were several of them roaming about.

"the beast killer..." he'd examine the pokemon's side once more, "...on the side of its head there's a metallic drive, can that be opened?" he'd try to remain a great feet from the pokemon in order to respect its space, but in doing so he'd search for a button. "first ultra beast, now chimera pokemon formed to eliminate beast? this region sure does have its hands full." it almost made zenji desire to smile. humanity just didn't know when to quit.

"i'd recommend leaving it with me, but i don't think it wishes to separate from its master." the pokemon seemed to be very tethered to fernando. he wondered what sort of training did he put the poor chimera through to get such a result.

once they were settled in the bath. zenji had only the top half of his face above water. the rest merrily seeped into the bubbly pool of red wine. he was like a child in heaven. slowly sipping the water he sat in while also trying his best not to get drunk. though that may have been too late considering the bridge of nose becoming just a tad red.

"mmm..?" he'd raise his face above water, asking, "did you say something?" heavy lids would indicate that the professor was just teetering upon the borderline of remaining sober or becoming a drunkard. suddenly, the sliding door was heard. it was one of the hostess of the establishment bringing them refreshments.

it was a charcuterie platter. zenji would turn to notice the plate of charcuterie, his stomach rustling. "food, nice." he'd partake a piece of cheese and meat from the platter. hungrily, and messily, stuffing his face.

[attr="class","light"]if zenji desired a coordinator he'd call for the aid of the top coordinator for this region. not a child who could barely pronounce. a solemn gaze had been thrown the young woman's way. then back onto John Sullivan . the league was truly short of good hands. though zenji wouldn't count them out just yet, even if he lacked little information on them. this was, after all, a quick gathering.

"let's cease the idle chitchat and gather around."

once chryssa glasgow and John Sullivan were done with their conversation, the briefing would begin. "as some of you are aware, there's a plague roaming this city. thankfully, the plague is manmade and human controlled." upon the smart board there was a case file showcasing the perpetrator they're after.



"johann kreisler, criminally dubbed the "pied piper"." a classical violinist that descended into madness. "an individual who was wrought with madness." somehow he escaped league's custody, but with rocket he's reemerged onto the surface. "his crime has no limit, be it from pokemon or human. he's a wanted criminal for the death of both man and pokemon. according to some accounts, being the survivors," zenji continued, pausing briefly in order to shift the screen over to evidence that were uncovered from his crime scene by the league long ago. without need to go into detail, one could see that some of it had been horrific and gruesome.

"he wanted to get down on paper a melody that was being “dictated by the angels”. he believed the only way to do that was by the cries of his victims, but he had become agitated and regarded the voices as demonic “loudreds and toxtricitys” that sang 'hideous music'." so he chose to silence them personally with his bare hands.

which leads them to the purpose of their meeting today, "apparently the pied piper has finally created the melody he so desired. and he has little need to lift a finger."
