i think chloe and mila could be fun together! first off, mila is a fashion designer so i could see her maybe knowing chloe through her mother? maybe her mother took her to the studio that mila works at when she was young. there's quite an age gap between the two of them but honestly don't think that would stop mila with flirting harmlessly. which would probably make chloe really flustered! could be fun, we could throw them in a mission and see what happens? hehe

we talked about this a bit when you posted on my plotter a while ago, but i'm still down for plottage between the two of them! i think that it would be fun if she could be his designer, for the sygna suits but also if he wants to do any modeling or things like that as well.

The man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a badge to show her, the gloss of the card catching the light of the fixtures above. Ah, Mila thinks. He's one of those.

[break][break] "We can take your ID later sir," she says, reaching over to curl her hands around his and gently push them away. "Let me see... " Mila walks behind the desk and goes through the computer database, brows knitting together briefly as she scrolls through their list of appointments. Did she have anyone else coming in today? "Ah - we're in luck! I have a slot here." She smiles brightly at him, which only falters when she stares at him in confusion.

[break][break] "Oh," she says, with a laugh. "This isn't my place. I just work here. Just a junior consultant, actually, but I can get someone more high-tier for you, if that matters." A pause, before she adds, "But that'll be an additional fee."

While others were stationed outside the truck to keep it cool, a small Snom could be found inside the truck upon one of its shelves. Coco had snuck into the truck while the employees outside were distracted handing ice cream cones to children, and had slithered her way into an empty ice box to munch on the ice, but then the truck began to feel warm.

And she didn't like warm. That wasn't what ice cream was for! All delicious ice was going to melt!

So, using her fast thinking, she used POWDER SNOW on the iceboxes and surrounding equipment, not realizing that - well - she might have gotten a few employees frozen in the process.

There is a pause as Mila takes in his words, taking comfort in a silence that might seem awkward to some, but feels powerful to her. She tilts her head to the side, trying to imagine the boy in front of her as a random millionaire hobo. "Alright, if that's the case," she finally says, then flashes a grin. "Then you definitely owe me a drink."

[break][break] Even though they've only met a few moments ago, Mila decides that she likes Angie. He's the kind of guy that can throw anything that she lobs at him and doesn't seem the type to be easily offended, something that is rare these days.

[break][break] “What? Rugged good looks and a chiselled jaw?”

[break][break] This time Mila doesn't pause - her reply is quick and to the punch. "Yeah," she says, her voice suddenly serious as she blinks at him, looking at him with what can only be described as an artist's keen eye. "You do. You're a cutie pie, Angie." She leans over and pokes him in the cheek, just for fun.

[break][break] She leans back.

[break][break] Her gaze is drawn to him again, however, when he begins to pack up her things. It reminds her that her skirt should probably be dry by now, which it is. She pushes herself to her feet to grab it, pausing as Vincenzo drops the captured Toxicroak at her feet. It goes along with the rest of her pokeballs, and she looks up again to see a Breloom in the distance. Her gaze is thoughtful, before looking back to Vinny. "Can you get him too? He might make a good lamp," she says with a laugh, mostly joking, before turning back to Angelo.

[break][break] "Mm, maybe later. I still want to enjoy this - " She gives a big stretch, as if to punctuate her point. "Nice breeze." Her eyes twinkle, before she hands her phone over to him. "But I do want to see you again. Give me your number." Her voice brokes no room for argument.

[break][break] There is a flash in the distance as Vincenzo uses DAZZLING GLEAM to blind the wandering Breloom, and then darts forward to give it an impromptu headbutt. While momentarily stunned, the grass type is able to throw its arms up in a FORCE PALM that throws the ice-type off his gears. This pokemon was feisty! Growling playfully, the ice fox rolls on his belly to lower the pokemon's guard before aiming an AURORA BEAM at it. The ice crackles around the wild Breloom's cap before he knows what is happening, frozen solid.

[break][break] Mila, meanwhile, slips on her skirt again and only glances up when Angie gives a sharp whistle for his flying pokemon to come over. Impressive, she thinks mildly, before laughing. "Maybe," she says, deciding to play coy. "You'll have to stop by to find out." With a wink, she gathers her things and then looks over to the frozen sculpture that is the Breloom, before lobbing a pokeball at it.

The swirly shapes in the snow were more of a decoration than anything, but they were important too. After all, there was nothing to a masterpiece without intricate design work either. She stood up and continued making more dedicated shapes in the earth - some swirls, some lines, some straight up squigglies.

[break][break] She placed a hand on her hip, a smile on her face. There were several flowers now imprinted into the snow design around her unfinished "creation", in addition to a large collection of swirls that looked suspiciously like a cloud.

[break][break] Glancing back at Billi Marsh , she said, "Oh, don't worry. I'm almost done!"

[break][break] She looked for her Snom, who seemed to be camoflouged nearly perfectly, with the combination of the surrounding snow and all the other bug types that were in the area. "Give me a helping hand, why don't you?" she called to Coco, who immediately began to glow slightly with the power of HELPING HAND. Sure enough, a giant hand appeared in front of her. "And grab those snow balls - and yep - just place them, just like that." With the help of the pokemon's move, the work was much faster, though Mila would have preferred herself to do the design.

[break][break] The woman's snow figures, though previously indistinguishable, was beginning to make shapes as perfect little snow Slurpuffs. Again, reaching for the stick, she added some details and created imprints in the snow, drawing on them like stencil, tongue sticking a little bit out of her mouth.

[break][break] "There!" she said, with a gentle laugh. "Almost good enough to eat."

[break][break] Though, Mila wasn't entirely finished yet. She still had plans - but she could afford to take a break for now. To the remainder of Billi's words, she inclined her head slightly. "Well, that doesn't surprise me. You're easy to like." She said with a wink. "Maybe we could learn about Petalburg together."

[break][break] Keeping her voice light, she turned to Vincenzo. "Vinny! I need you to Ice Shard. But like, a big one. Take a big breath!" The Alolan Ninetales took a step back, tails flaring behind him and took a deep breath, before aiming an ICE SHARD at the ground.

Angelo - Angie - is able to startle a laugh out of Mila, which is a rare feat. Not many things catch her off guard, but it's been a while since she's been able to joke as carelessly with anyone the way she is doing with the courier next to her. No one has ever called her Mimi before, but she kind of likes it.

[break][break] "Touché," she says, with a grin, but leaves it as that. Something tells her that there will be plenty of opportunities for her to ask angelo vestri what he thinks of the shape of her butt.

[break][break] As they lay down in companiable silence for a few more minutes, her eyes turn towards to him as he says that he hasn't ever been to the shop. "Nah," she says, shaking her head and then putting a finger to her mouth as she thinks about how long they've been around. Mila has at least been working there for a handful of years, and when she started out as an intern there, they definitely weren't a new shop. "We've been around - maybe five years?" It's hard to say if it's been longer - the store if Madam Dupont's baby, but Mila has nothing to do with that. "Though, generally, we take high profile clients and - " she says with a twinkle in her eye, taking a thumb and jabbing him friendly in the shoulder, against his seemingly worndown jean jacket. "Something tells me that's not your style."

[break][break] Of course, if they stay friends, Mila plans to change that. Not that he has to know.

[break][break] Vincenzo trots back with the pokeball containing the Pidgeot in his mouth, and she clips it to her belt. Though she's never been quite a fan of flying types, a bird would be useful in making sure they got communication quickly from their clientele. She leans down into her palm and flashes her eyelashes at him, but as usual, he avoids the innuendo, answering her questions breezily.

[break][break] So she does the same. She straightens up, stretching an arm over her back and she gives him a side-eye. "Stylish? No." She mimics, and then laughs. "But almost anyone can join the industry. You just need one thing - " Mila pauses, for dramatic effect, and she says, "And you have it."

[break][break] Mila doesn't say anymore, letting her words dangle in the air before him as a piece of fruit, and instead lets her gaze drift towards a wild Toxicroak. Vincenzo has his ears flattened, growling at the pokemon, as it attempts to pet him. The sight almost makes her laugh. He's still not good with strangers. "Come on, beat 'em! You can do it, Vinny!" she calls, her tone light and playful.

[break][break] Tails flaring out behind him, the ice pokemon's body begins to glow before he releases a CONFUSE RAY towards the poison frog. Before the pokemon can know what is happening, Mila has flung a pokeball at it.

[break][break] Hey - she used to play softball, at one point in her life. Yes, stereotypes included.

When hendrix emmerson wanders into the store, he would find the room oddly vacant. The front of the store was plastered with white, glossy tiles and had an obviously minimalistic design. There were a few large, water-themed pieces tacked to the wall, one of which was a Squirtle and another of which was a sunset. Straight ahead would be a front-desk area, with a single computer screen and a wooden, backless chair, which was currently vacant.

[break][break] Plastered in the center of the pristine, white receptionist desk was a watercolor painting of a Primarina, the studio's mascot.

[break][break] "Oh sorry!" Rushing into view was none-other-than Mila herself, heels clacking against in the tiles as she greeted the guest with a beaming smile. "Sorry for the wait. We're between receptionists right now - " Their previous receptionist had gone magically missing, and they hadn't been able to find a replacement yet. Still, things had to run, even without them. It was the circle of life. She leaned over, glancing at the computer screen, and then back at the stranger. "You have an appointment?"

If she was at all surprised about his admission, Mila didn't mention it. Instead, a laugh bubbled to her lips. "In that case, we need to go for a walk on the town. You can show me all the local places here." A pause as she patted at the snow in front of her, which was beginning to take shape. She had created a round ball in front of her, and Billi Marsh 's bug pokemon seemed to be helping her, rolling around the pillowy snow into smaller spheres. Mila grabbed one of the snow spheres and placed it on top of the other, though it still wasn't entirely clear of the shape she was making just yet.

[break][break] "It's a surprise," she quipped playfully, winking at him, and then at his warning for the Volcarona that was apparently about to fly past, she reached into her belt and released her Bergmite. Bernhardt blinked owlish eyes at her, almost questioning, and she explained, "Use Protect, sweetpea. We don't want anything to melt before we're ready." Obediently, the pokemon released a shimmering PROTECT in an high arch, which would have protected her art piece from any heat before it was ready.

[break][break] Then, looking to Billi, she said, "Art takes time."

[break][break] She laughed, as she grabbed a stick on the ground and began making swirly shapes in the snow with it's point. "But I can multitask. Tell me something about Petalburg! I don't know much — I spent most of my time in Mauville, actually."

What were vacations for except for exploring new, undiscovered places? Sure, maybe when people made those brochures, they didn't immediately think about archeologist digs as Hoenn's main tourist destinations. However, that was hardly Artie's fault. As far as he was concerned, that was their fault for not advertising properly.

Those were obviously not meant for him. Those were for civilians. You know, commonfolk, who had to follow the rules and regulations of society.

[break][break] His face brightened and he waved. "Hey! You must be my tour guide. What gives, I thought you were gonna meet me at the entrance?"

[break][break] The boy's glossy ID-badge was hung in a lanyard around his neck, falling in the center of his chest, in plain sight. It read, quite clearly, Miguel Smirnov, archeologist.

If Mila noticed the fact that angelo vestri 's eyes drifted her way, however unintentionally, she didn't say anything. Well, at first.

[break][break] As she stood up straight again, she turned around, with a twinkle in her eye. "Angelo," she admonished lightly, her tone teasing. "Angie. Were just staring at my ass?"

[break][break] A silence passed between them, in which Mila was perfect comfortable, the coffee seeped further into the grass, and Vincenzo nearly coughed on his own breath. What?

[break][break] Her pearly laugh breaks the silence, as she plops down on the grass next to him, fingers going over to reach and pet the Aracanine's ears along with him. "Just kidding," she says, with a smile, and then leans back on the grass, blades catching between her fingertips. "And thanks. Actually, I learned it —"

[break][break] Her words, however, were cut off as a Pigeot soared through the sky. The sight of it was so breathtaking that she sat up again, eyes flashing towards Vincenzo. The Alolan Ninetales jumped up obediently and tails flaring out behind him, he opened his maw, a rainbow-colored beam shooting out of his mouth and striking the flying type in the wing. The Pigeot dropped out of the sky in a sharp incline, and Mila threw a pokeball at it before it hit the ground.

[break][break] Turning back to Angelo she said, "Actually — I didn't say, but if you must know, I'm a fashion designer. I work at Primarina Designs in Mauville, if you've heard of us." She crossed her legs pretzel style, leaned her elbow into a knee and then her hand into her palm to look at him with a smirk. Her lashes fluttered. "You interested?"

[break][break] What she meant exactly by that, however, was completely up in the air.

Though her snowy winter wonderland was perhaps not as expansive as she might have liked, it was at least something. Mila smiled as she appraised her surroundings, the combination of powder and snow having turned the Petalburg Gym's soil and dirt into a collection of frost and ice. She reached down to grab a pocket of it, rubbing her fingers together to press against the semi-hard crystals.

[break][break] Mila smiled blithely at Billi Marsh . "Huh? Oh, you know, " she said, the corners of her mouth creasing into a bit of a smirk. Her eyes twinkled. "Practice makes perfect? Or whatever." She laughed a little, and then began packing some of the ice carefully in front of her, mimicking the ice balls that the bug pokemon around her were making. Vincenzo attempted to help, once again using Blizzard to provide his trainer with more material to work with. Raising his snout, he released yet another fountain of cold snow in an arc, away from the talking humans.

[break][break] She hummed lightly as she set to work, yet that didn't mean it had to be all work and no play. She was fine with some idle conversation. "I've been wearing heels since I was a teenager, probably even earlier." She'd always liked to wear her mother's heels, though something told her that her mother might not have liked it as much. "I can run in them too, you know, even with five or six inches." The memory of her running down and chasing a ranger on five-inch heels on a soaked, rainy day for a particular mission struck her mind, as jackson barrett snuck away with the stolen jewels. It was a brief memory, but she recalled it with affection.
