It was obvious he didn't want it, but Mila did. And there were few things that Mila wanted that she didn't get — especially when it came to jackson barrett .

[break][break] Of course, Jackson being Jackson, he pushed. That's what the two of them did, ever since they were kids. Push and pulled. But Mila, somehow, always won in the end and it was only a matter of seconds before Jackson's black shirt was being ripped over his head, courtesy of Mila.

[break][break] The sight that they were all greeted with was jackson barrett 's bare chest, which might have been hot, maybe, in some alternate timeline in which Jackson was not furious, Chu-E was not curious, and Miro was not distraught that her trainer seemed even doubly angry than he was before. Oh yeah, and then there was the matter of his scars, and the matter of the blood that was spilling all over his chest from the pokemon's previous fight.

[break][break] "Oh, don't be a baby," Mila said blithely, reaching for his arm once again in case he aimed to stand. Vincenzo, who seemed in a rather good mood now that he'd had his gourmet treat, trotted over with a wet cloth in his mouth. Where he'd gotten that was anyone's guess. Either way, the Ranger rookie was quick to dab at his chest to wash away the crusted blood just before Chu-E appeared out of nowhere and slipped the new clothes over his head.

[break][break] Though, by this point, Jackson had his mind made up and Mila doubted she could push him that much more before he exploded. It was sad, really. Just like Miro, Mila was having so much fun.

[break][break] "Well, I suppose I can come back for my questions," she said, pushing her hands to her feet. She sent a wink Chu-e Choi 's way. "And maybe Jackie's shirt too?"

[break][break] Heels clicking against the lineoleum floor, the violet-haired vixen came sweeping into the studio. Her jacket was thrown towards the Hatterene, who easily took the object with PSYCHIC, stopping the momentum of the throw and then slowly hanging it upon one of the golden clothing hooks tacked onto the side wall. Mila's spot was third from the left, right after her co-workers Armani and Anita.

[break][break] "Morning Annie, Mani," she called to the two as she passed them. Colorful strips of fabric were strewn across the wooden table as they worked on their latest project. It was a week from the deadline.

[break][break] "Mila," the latter greeted, and then walked over with a beverage in hand. A green tea latte, fresh off the machine. "You're late. Busy morning?"

[break][break] "Oh, you know," she winked at him, taking the offered beverage. She placed it on the table, along with a glass dagger she unhooked from her thigh. The sunlight that streamed through the wooden beams of the studio cast the preserved flowers aglow. "Just some target practice."

[break][break] He laughed. "Mimi, I don't know why you are still with them. They work you to the bone! I would have quit by now!"

[break][break] "Oh hush!" His wife looked up from her work, pressing pins into the fabric. "I think it's lovely, Mila. You are doing God's work."

[break][break] Mila rolled her eyes. "Hardly! I'm just a rookie."

[break][break] Anita nodded, her voice slightly muffled as she tore apart some thread with her teeth. "Speaking of, when is your graduation?"

[break][break] In truth, it was probably right around the corner. Mila hadn't really bothered to ask. "Oh, don't try to change the subject. You two have a big day ahead of you today, don't you? Today is —"

[break][break] Before Mila could finish her sentence, however, there was the sound of a bell ringing as someone entered the studio. Oh, did they have a customer?

"Skyler," Mila repeated and then smiled brilliantly. "That name is gorgeous — and fitting." Her eyes twinkled, her tone slightly flirtatious before she gave a little gasp of appreciation. "But wow, that's really cool. And it sounds super fun! I bet you could show me where to find some great treasures."

[break][break] The other's joke startled a laugh out of Mila, but the designer couldn't help but agree. "Well, that's definitely true. I'm sure that you would give them something to look at too." She winked.

[break][break] Her eyes drifted back towards the item in the blond's possession. It was actually one of Mila's most recent collaborations with an artist from Mossdeep — based on the deep colors found on a Shellos' shell, she hoped it would attract beach-goers and water-lovers alike. Though, it had yet to be officially sold on her clothing line... she was testing it out by showing it off at Primadonna.

[break][break] Mila's thoughts strayed but were brought back as the woman leaned closer to her, and Mila felt her heart stutter slightly at the close proximity of such a pretty woman. But Mila was used to this feeling — in fact, she relished in it. It always gave her a rush.

[break][break] She leaned in slightly as the other confessed her secret — and then twirled around. Her eyes glowed with excitement. "You're really lucky then to have met me," she said with a grin before immediately attempting to grab the other's wrist and drag her half-way across the store where there was a cream-colored loveseat and some wracks of clothes. "Sit, sit," she said with a gentle nudge at Skyler's back, before turning around to grab a clipboard and pencil and plopping herself down on the couch next to her.

[break][break] "Welcome to Primadonna designs where we believe everyone is beautiful, " she said, mimicking the company line. She glanced at Skyler, a coy smile at the corner of her lips. "With the right amount of help, of course."

Oh, so she was fiesty.

[break][break] Celia Auclair 's hard eyes didn't deter Mila even when they were directed at her — then again, not most things did. As it was offered to her, the designer accepted the other's handshake with a firm one on her own. "Celia, huh?" Her eyes twinkled mischeviously before she hopped towards the other and plopped onto the bench beside her, fingers curling around the edge. "Well, Celia, I'm Mila. It's nice to meet you."

[break][break] Her head inclined to the side as she listened to the other, blinking with surprise and then a little bit of a gasp. "You son? I'm surprised - you don't look a day over 25!" she said, taking the photograph that was offered to her. The items was a bit tattered at the edges and Mila found herself humming as she looked over the picture — the boy on the end was not one that she recognized and... she glanced at the side profile of the woman next to her. "He doesn't really look like you," she commented, before she added. "Though, I think I can see it in his eyes. Mind if you take of your glasses?"
