An earlier version of the Cursed would've snapped back at the retaliation that Adrian Malcolm threatened, like a tightly-coiled spring ready to snap. But this Jayden — the one who had spent hours in the frozen wilderness training alongside THEO BECKETT and Elisabeth Fiorelli — knew better. He holds his HATRED at bay, allowing the animosity to fester like an old wound, as the other rips apart from his grasp.
