Yui was stunned in fear from the nagandel in front of her. This was the first time she had ever even see an ultrabeast, and boy was she glad she hadn't encountered more of them. This thing was horrid..it was no different from a rampaging monsters...It plunged it's stinger into the floor, aiming for stormy. She let out a shrieked scream "STORMY!". After she saw that stormy was still in a state of shock, she ran away trying to put some distance between her and the creature. [break][break]

"HEY STINKY FOLLOW ME!" she said as she tried to bait it away from her sister, she held a pokeball in her hand ready to go to fight the creature. However Yui didn't have much of a plan, her hand was trembling and tears were falling down her face from the fear. But she'd be damned if she just sat there and let this creature harm stormy. She didn't know anything about this thing, but those eyes of it were most likely a weak spot, and in the dimly lit lab well...lets just say this move was a pretty good substitute for flash "STORMY CLOSE YOUR EYES." [break][break]

The monster charged towards yui much like it charged at stormy"SUNNY DAY!" she called out as cherrim released a ball of light in front of nagandel's face. It didn't deal damage but it sure as hell blinded the creature as she picked up cherrim afterwards and ran, covering their nose from the horrendous smell in the room. "Stormy! Your pokemon!" she said as yui managed to blind the creature and set up some fire power for stormy's fire types.

Yui breathed a sigh of relief when Sceptile finally went down. She had one only the first half of the battle, porygonz was looking rough and tired but she had faith in him. She needed to give him time to recover from using hyper beam. That's when Selena sent out an escavalier, Yui sized the pokemon up. Escavalier type wise had a huge advantage in just typing. She began to feel a discourage, but it wasn't enough to stop her from at least trying. She felt the same way with Billi Marsh's fight but then it turned into a surprise win when her swablu evolved into alteria! She however could only sit and watch as her pokemon got attacked by the pokemon. "Porygon hang in there!" she said as she could only wait for it to recharge. [break][break]

Porygonz then let out a shout to let Yui know he was ready to fight again now that he had a chance to rest. "Ok! Codey use Zap cannon on escavalier!" She said as porygon began to gather electricity in front of itself and fired a ball of electricity right at escavalier.

These are Yui's most prized pokemon that she cares for the most. These are her bread and butter pokemon she uses frequently.[break][break]

Porygonz(codey) Yui's first pokemon ever. It's her trusty companion she keeps with her, when she really needs to break through some tough coding Codey is her first line of defense and support. It helped her break down a league firewall when she was young![break][break]

Alteria is also one of Yui's first pokemon, when it was a swablu it would constantly sit on her head, often leaving tufts of it's cotton in her hair around her ears making it look like she had feathered ears.[break][break]

Chatot is one of Yui's most mischievious pokemon, she often uses it's voice mimicking abilities to for small pranks and or confuse people.[break][break]

Ditto, Codename:Gogurt is a Ditto Yui received as a gift from Fernando that was originally meant to spy on her. However Ditto ended up instead bonding very closely to yui and not doing it's job. [break][break]

Cherrim: Cherrim was a gift from a friend from long ago who Yui doesn't really remember anymore. Yui was a very easily disheartened child so the pokemon found it fitting that she have a cherrim, hoping it'd cheer her up. Yui holds a lot of nostalgia with this Pokémon.

Stonjourner: Stonjourner is a more recent addition to the team who she brought onto her team to help support her pokemon in battle. However she becomes afraid of it at night when it decides to randomly t pose.

Yui looked on in disbelief, his morelul did in fact sleep powder it..She scratched the back of her head, hiding her gremlin personality from absolutely losing her mind it took forever for her to get this damn thing awake and now she's right back where she started. She however did show a sign of frustration, not only with the trainer but with this dang snorlax who continued to show up time after time and cause problems! Seriously! Did it only show up to ever sleep in the middle of the road?! Well Yui decided she had enough, she grabbed a pokeball on her belt and threw it into the air to release her milktank. "Well at least I can fix it easily since it was caused by sleep powder, I hope your in for a rude awakening!" She said as she faced her palm out towards the snorlax "Milky! Use heal bell on snorlax! Wake him up!" she commanded as her milktank obliged by shaking it's glowing tail in a certain rhythm as it began to glow with energy. The Heal bell did work, but yui soon regretted her actions. Snorlax woke up, but it was VERY pissed off. [break][break]

Yui knew what was going to happen next, they had to RUN. Yui bolted and grabbed the boy's hand "We gotta go!" she exclaimed as she began to run with milktank by her side.

Yui looked at stormy and squinted as she accepted the aipom's pokeball. "Sure" she said as she pondered what to even ask stormy, it had been a while since they spoke so she decided to give her a simple question "How are you doing stormy? What's new with you?" she said curiously. She always worried about her other siblings and sometimes felt like a ghost when she was locked away in her room, unable to interact with the world. Maybe reaching out to her sister for support would make her realize she can interact with the world? Immediately after, an indeedee came up running up to the pair, being chased by a girafarig while playing. Yui saw the indeedee and saw how adorable it was so she lobbed a pokeball at it to try and capture it.

Woahhhh that's one heckin big boy "Tyranitar, armor pokemon huh?" she said as she walked over to the tyranitar and began to pat the pokemon. She hoped he'd like the spot where she was patting. "Tyranitar's are pretty impressive pokemon to raise..you did well with this one from what I can tell." She looked over to the girl and extended her hand daintly to shake it "Yui Silph." she said giving her name to the stranger noting that the girl didn't give her last name. However she didn't think much of it honestly, "So what brings you to this route?" she said walking away from the pair as she spotted a lickillicky with a massive tongue. Yui lobbed a pokeball right at it and waited for the ball to tick down to confirm a capture. She watched closely, a pokeball ready in hand in case it failed and she'd have to defend herself against the angry pokemon.

"But you cant deny their power." she retorted "It's a whole new world of possibility with strategies I cant reach." she said throwing her head back on the bench and slumping in she reached into her purse and pulled out a small little stone, it was an Eeveenite. As she rolled it around in her hand, she was afraid to even try mega evolution again out of fear of failure. However as he begun to talk more and more she did analyze her own recent missions. "Theory crafting sure, I can take my time to formulate a team to cover each others weaknesses. I know a lot about Pokémon..but as soon as my opponent completely wrecks my plan I can have a hard time recovering. " [break][break]

However he did say something interesting, battling was no different from that computer stuff. She kind of laughed a bit "It is different! I...guess? coding is just like speaking a different language, it's like talking to a computer and telling it what you want. In battles...someone's arguing against you." she then got frustrated and began to scratch her head "UGHHH" she hated this feeling, this disappointment in herself. She had no idea how to handle it.

OOF, mat block? Yui smirk though as an idea popped up in her mind "Ditto! Copycat greninja! defend the team!" she shouted as Ditto used Eevee's copy cat to to knock up the mats fernando used earlier and formed them around her pokemon "Nice trick, I''ll borrow it." she didn't like it when Fernando was silent, she could never read his face. While she managed to block the attacks like Greninja but there wasn't much she could do, even if the damage was blocked the perish song's effects continued to tick down. [break][break] She had to get moving, "Eevee use swift on greninja! Cherrim! Use Solar beam on him as well!" She had to take out that Greninja if it was gonna block her attacks. Eevee began to fire star shaped energy that was bigger than a normal swift due to adaptability. Cherrim began to glow as a blast of light forming the solar beam was aimed right towards Greninja. "Stonejourner use rock tomb and trap Lapras with rocks! Porygon fly above and Tri attack from above so she cant escape!" Even if Lapras didn't take a lot of damage from the tri-attack boosted by adaptibility. Yui hoped this was enough to turn the tables against Fernando. The only way she had access to that mat block trick was if he kept using it.

Yui smirked "You're right, im just learning from my senior's recent move." She said as she waited for Sceptile's leap. "CODEY NOW USE HYPER BEAM! WHILE HE'S IN THE AIR!" she said as she waited for Sceptile's feet to leave the floor, if he was in the air he couldn't redirect his movement in mid air. She also didn't have time for her Porygonz to use lock on because she was sure that Sceptile would take advantage of that. She took a note out of Selena's book and decided to counter when Sceptile got in close just like when vivillion went in for a desperate draining kiss. It was obvious that these two girls were learning off one another. "Seems like we're both learning huh?" Yui just hoped her gamble would pay off, Hyper beam was an extremely powerful move, even more so with porygonz's adaptibility but at the cost of Codey having to spend time recovering afterwards.

"yes im 20, I just look younger." she said calming herself a bit so she wouldn't actually cry. Mateo wasn't even teasing her that bad she was mostly just getting angry but it wasn't at him. It was more at herself but that was a bundle of issues she wouldn't deal with yet. She still had more growing to do. "You aren't?" she asked curiously but then he went on to explain "Ahh. I see." she said being rather curious as to the reason why he was on break, did he do something wrong? Maybe FERNANDO SILPH could shed more info with her later if he even wanted to. Mateo then went on to basically summarize her situation at the moment. Yui was a very smart and capable girl, she just had little experience with the world. Until recently she used to just stay shut in, only really maintaining contact with fernando Stormy Silph and at times eve who was more like a stranger to Yui than anything. It was only until Fernando and her went out to do field work that she decided she needed to actually live her life and go out. "You could put it that way I suppose...I was a shut in until recently." she replied as she danced around the subject, she went over to a nearby bench and sat down, putting her hands between her legs and looking rather dejected. "I cant even use z moves or mega evolutions,a total noob.." annoyed with the girl she wrapped a clenched fist in her hand at her own short comings. "And yes im pretty knowledgable on video games. I usually play turn based ones or RTS games."

He was playing coy....or was he? Yui couldn't really tell if she was being honest but being around business people for so long she at least knew one thing. When they acted like they knew nothing or didn't deny something as false it's usually because they do actually know something. Which was interesting cause Razz didn't really deny it but just prodded her to see what her motives were. She decided maybe telling him as to why she wanted to know would help him open up? she decided explaining herself would help so she did [break][break]

"Well, I simply just...thrive off of information, I like knowing things. There's nothing more annoying to me than NOT knowing something...if that makes sense." She smiled a bit at him she said explaining herself a bit. "I often look around the information. I want to learn about pokemon ...but then I've begun to hear rumors of these shadow pokemon.." She said as her face began to look a little sad "I haven't heard good things ..I want to see it with my own eyes..."

Yui frowned at Stormy's worry for the blonde being here "You ARE my business! We're family!" she said in hushed whispers. She's treating her as if she was dead weight, how insulting! Yui is a Silph too! She already earned her first badge (barely) she should be able to handle these kinds of missions now. This was was her chance to prove herself as a Silph, she WILL be treated with respect! She nodded her head, "fine. But you better let me help!" she demanded. It was too late for anyone to stop her now anyways as she silently followed stormy as the made their way deeper into the complex. [break][break]

Yui stayed behind stormy, cautiously watching the girl waiting for her orders from her sister as she hoped maybe a battle would break out or maybe she had some coding she'd be able to do! Like in those spy movies! Ohhhhh the excitement, the information she could probably learn here! How exciting!! But Yui was slowly going to realize that reality is much bleaker and more dangerous than the movies make it out to be. However stormy's word choice began to bounce around in Yui's head...'stuck with her.'...did she mean it the way it came off..?

a giga-drain huh? Yui took advantage of this by having it not move during the attack and decided to fire it once again "Codey! Tri attack it again while it's giga draining! It cant move while it's attacking with that move!" she said dishing out her orders once more. Porygonz let out a powerful shout as it tanked the giga-drain, trusting Yui's plan and tri attacked the Pokémon while it tried to leech off of porygonz's health. [break][break] However it's eyes furrowed during the attack as it gathered the three orbs of energy again in front of it's body and combined them together into a charge, hitting sceptile with fire electric and ice energy once more and fired a tri attack that was boosted by it's adaptibility.
