Yui had heard of another fire swarm, of course there was! Yay!!!(sarcasm) she hated fire types but fernando was very pleased with the last one she managed to snag for him so maybe he'd like an arcanine too? She was always happy to give him pokemon since it seemed to be one of the few things he actually liked in this world. [break][break]

She went over to where she saw a swarm of arcanine just lounging around in the wild, her fear of fire flaring inside her once again only for a brief moment. She was determined to get her hands on one because it could possibly bring joy to someone else. she crouched down once again in a bush, similar to when she caught that scorbunny and then tried to soccer method of kicking the pokeball again at the pile of sleeping doggo pokemon to see if she'd be able to catch one like that. He was right, it was rather early in the morning. It's exactly why she was rushing to get him out of the way, if he kept blocking this road it would present a problem to those who needed to get in and out of the city. "Yeah, the workers who take this road were complaining about it getting in the way. I think he honestly does this now cause he gets food out of it everytime...we're gonna have to think of a more permanent solution...maybe constantly feeding him food elsewhere or something.." she said wonder aloud how this problem could be resolved. "Ah I see, a morning walk is good." but then he asked her a rather curious question "Oh? Yes I did, why? I graduated with my masters this year. Software engineering and computer science." she said noting her accomplishments despite her age. "My next goal is my doctorates but im gonna hold off for a bit." she said [break][break]

However just as she was taking a breath of relief that her job was over she looked over to the snorlax..the pokemon went right back to bed! Yui was stunned, this usually worked before...so why was it that it failed now? She looked over to see a small little morelul with a bunch of powder spreading around it "Did...did your morelul just sleep powder the snorlax?" she said somewhat defeated that all her efforts just went to waste.

Yui was looking to get some more experience for her Pokémon, she heard recently that there was a lot of random weather causing some trouble for people who were trying to deliver mail. She remembered that the drampa she recently caught in her safari exploration had the ability cloud nine which normalized weather for a certain area! Perfect! It was a rare ability so Yui took this as a chance to help where she could. She put a small little headset that was sized for Drampa and a GPS chip on it to guide it and a camera on it's head. She activated the software and got to work with Drampa. [break][break]

Drampa used extrasensory in combination with it's ability cloud nine to remove all the negative weather effects that would stop it from being able to do it's job correctly. After some time passed drampa managed to finally deliver all of the packages to their proper locations. Afterwards Drampa landed on Yui's balcony where she then patted him on the head and hugged him "Good job drampa, you did great out there. I'm sure everyone's very happy with you." she said as she handed him some berries as a reward for his efforts.

Yui was wandering around route 116, lamenting her recent battles going a lot sloppier than she expected. She decided maybe catching some pokemon would lift her spirits a bit so she decided to wander around route 116 for a while looking for some pokeballs. This time she decided to wander around with her Ditto, trying to see if she could get gogurt to react a bit faster to pokemon and not just stare blankly at stuff all the time.

The perish song affects all pokemon on the field. Ah, so this is what time attack meant huh? Of course it did, Yui had to act quickly, her Pokémon were about to be in trouble if she didn't act and she had learned she couldn't hesitate very long or FERNANDO SILPH would take advantage of her hesitation. Yui called out to her cherrim "Cherrim, sunny day!" as the Pokémon launched a ball of light into the sky causing some intense heat as used sunny day. Cherrim's flower gift activates and her ally Pokémon's attack and special defense get a bit stronger, helping them tank fernando's attacks a bit. "Heh you're not as sneaky as you think you are Fernie. I'm not as dumb as stormy! All your Pokémon except for Lapras and Greninja have sound proof as an ability don't they?"She smirked as she believed she saw right through Fernando's aim.

[break][break] He didn't have to win the battle, he just had to wait so yui needed to go on the offense and wipe them out as quickly as she could. She then divyed up her orders "Eevee! Weather ball on Abomasnow! Stonejourner, Rock slide them all! Codey Use Zap cannon on lapras! And gogurt, transform into eevee and use helping hand on eevee!" she said divvying up her orders quickly as they had to move quickly

Yui happened upon a Drampa in the safari who seemed to be asleep, in reality he was awake be he didnt mind yui's presence at all since he thought she was a child. She and Eevee walked over to it and tilted their heads curiously, maybe he was enjoying the nice bright atmosphere in the shade because of Cherrim's earlier sunny day? It'd make sense, the warm sun and the cool breeze made for a delightful combo so Yui opted to join the Pokémon in it's nap. Yui sat down besides drampa and decided to take a small nap with it and eventually when the two awoke seemingly bonded pretty well. So yui took the opportunity to present it with a safari ball and drampa decided if he got to keep taking wonderful naps like this why the heck not? He booped the pokeball with his snoot and into the pokeball it went. With all three pokeballs used up the safari master called for Yui to come back to which she happily obliged as she was satisfied with her captures.

The vivillion's gaze opened wide as the rocks flung into it's body. It sent the poor butterfly flying towards it's trainer as it flopped onto the floor. She let out a sigh, that's what she got for not thinking of Selena using a rock type attack. She pulled out vivillion's pokeball and recalled it "You did your best Vivi, im proud. Hopefully codey can finish him off for you." She said as a small grin came upon her face. She grabbed a new pokeball and lobbed it into the air "Codey!" she said as a porygonz appeared and angrily shouted at Sceptile as if chastising it for hurting vivillion. Or maybe not, yui was just guessing and Codey was known for being a weirdo.

"This baby is my strongest one, you better be ready!" she said warning Selena. Yui wasn't gonna let Sceptile get the jump on it this time, opting to start right away with a powering up move "Codey! Tri attack Sceptile! We need to knock it out fast!" As Porygonz began to fire charged balls of energy at sceptile. Porygonz tri attack seemed more ferocious than a normal one due to it's adaptbility enhancing the move.

Yui had cleaned her hands of the situation, the sleeping snorlax finally managed to wake up and move out of the way of the dirt road leaving out of the city. She looked over and saw a guy around the same age as her walking up to her, asking if she needs help. She looked over "Nope! Just finished waking up this snorlax who was blocking the road finally. It took a lot of chesto berries and food but it finally worked." she said as she looked on smugly at the Snorlax who was still half asleep but at least finally getting up to go reach the berry stew she made.

Her ditto was besides her looking at the stew hungrily but she bopped it's gelatnous body as he couldn't eat the stew or snorlax would just fall right over again and go to bed. "You headed this way?" she asked the boy curiously.

Yui after successfully capturing tauros ran into a chimchar, she stood there stunned. Oh god a fire type, Yui reeled back in cringe out of fear. She immediately threw out her eevee in response to it showing up "Eevee! get rid of it! please!" she said as she ran behind a giant rock in the traditional garden she was in. She really didn't like fire types, the only exception to that move was the cinderace line who didn't really spew out flames all that much. But even she was fearful of her scorbunny and almost never used it. [break][break]

Eevee began to bark at the chimchar, at first chimchar ignored it but then eevee launched a swift attack and chimchar began to run away in fear from her attacks as Yui let out a sigh "Thank you eevee.."

Yui's travels in the safari zone eventually lead to an area where a bunch of taurous were grazing on a field next to some traditional gardens that were fenced off. She knew she wanted a tauros for her milktank to be friends with since Milktank was her only cattle pokemon so far. They snuck over to the tall grass and hid in wait, Yui waited until a taurous got really close and then screamed as she lobbed a pokeball at it and shouted once it managed to bump the taurous on the head and absorbed the pokemon into the pokeball. Cherrim could only really sit and watch since Yui's scream managed to scare off the other tauros who were grazing nearby. Yui sat and eagerly watched the ball move side to side, hoping it wouldn't fail. Her milktank really needed a buddy.

Yui patted the meowstic on the head and nodded, as if understanding the pokemon entirely "Whatever you want sweetie. I owe it to you guys." she said with a small grin on her face, with a blush as she found Razz's Pokémon to be entirely too cute. She kept the same expression as Razz lied to her as she was still absorbed by that meowstic's face. She knew what she had saw was one hundred percent a Rotom, what she didn't know was why it was that colo. Given that she had read those rumours online, she had to know the truth."I only pride myself on a few things really Razz." she said as she took her straw and swirled it in her drink to mix the drink a bit with the ice. "And that's my coding, and my almost perfect recall on pokemon information. After all, the Silphs were chosen for our..promising talents, mine was coding." as she explained a bit as to why she was chosen as a Silph. "But I know for a fact what I saw was a Rotom that EMP'd that man's equipment." As she took a casual sip of the coffee. "Normally I wouldn't really think much of it, but Rotom's don't come in black. Their shiny forms are exclusively red with orange plasma." she said almost as if quoting the pokedex entry.

Yui had no friends close to her in age, she had no one she considers friends at all, tends to happen to shut ins. After she calmed down she realized what she had just done and began to mentally yell at herself for talking such big game against an Elite 4. This guy was on the same level as stormy and Yui despite her encyclopedic knowledge on Pokémon..was not the most trained season when it came to battling.

It was a good idea for galvantula to wrap Yui's mouth up in webs to prevent the girl from shouting at galvantula. She would have shouted at the bug creature to let her go. After the silk wrappings around her mouth were undone she'd be able to answer her adopted sister "What are YOU doing here!?" she said as she tried to deflect the answer "Also dont curse!" as she reminded the sister about her distain for cursing "Besides what does it look like! I'm here to help you!" she said speaking in hushed whispers that easily conveyed her urgency to speak to her sister. [break][break]

However she knew that she wouldn't be able to hide any of this from her sister, it was too late. "I..I tapped your phone and came cause I got worried.." as she avoided her sister's gaze and silently whistled. She expected to get yelled at immediately, Yui was notorious for not going on league missions or even leaving her apartment but she had begun to move around and do field work for unknown reasons.

Crap, Selena was able to react in time for Yui's plan and quickly countered it. She managed to block the the draining kiss with cross poison much to Yui's dismay the draining kiss was blocked and yui knew vivi wouldn't survive another attack. So she decided it was best to set up for her next Pokémon "Vivi use bug buzz again! Hurry!" she said as Vivillion attempted to emit green sound waves again with BUG BUZZ but Yui knew the odds of it going off were very low and would get knocked out with the next hit.
