A blizzard crawls through the horde rushing towards the woman, it's icy embrace consuming the twisted life forms this place created. [break][break]

She was thoroughly impressed in a twisted way. The way that she so calmly handled herself, that ice type fit her from her initial judgement. "We might need to work together for this one! Even I can't handle this many fans, you mind acting as "security" for a bit?". [break][break]

An invitation to collaborate with her as Melody activates her sygnasuit and links up with Primarina. "Let's give em a show together!" she says gleefully as she activates the suit and takes a deep breath and uses misty terrain to prevent them getting inflicted against status effects. Primarina then follows up with a HYPER VOICE against the crowd, a wide sweeping attack meant to handle a crowd but some of them slipped out and were rushing the 'stage' as Melody hopes the woman would take care of the stragglers.[break][break]

She clenches her fists as her pledge to Matias rings in her mind, the boulder they swore themselves in front of, she looks to Eva Morales with reassurance that they'd work together. She finally understood how she felt about Matias, it was no longer rage, it was no longer the love she once held for him but a new emotion. One she typically felt with pokemon, not people. Pity. "I will save you. Whether you like it or not." she made a promise, and she does not make promises lightly. [break][break]

As Rayquaza dealt with Groudon, Melody turns back to it, her hair whipping behind her as she dares to stare back at the black sun in front of her. Melody stood in defiance against it as she would be the one who shone brighter to it. "I'm tired of your shit Matias! Just let us help you! Where are you?!" she says as Melody raises her hand to the sky and calls out to her dynamaxed Pokémon. [break][break]

"Meloetta! Strike this sun down, get rid of this heat!" she says as Meloetta agrees, a diva couldn't perform under these circumstances with that heat. Psychic power runs through the earth and rises into the sky as Meloetta unleashes a barrage of psychic energy PAST groudon and into the black sun at the peak of the mountain. [break][break]

The purple figure rushes up to her and Melody looked up at it rushing her. She doesn't really panic at first as a beam of beautiful pink petals rush past her and slam into the disfigured creature. It slams it into the wall as it falls over and collapses "Ewwww. What is that thing?" she asks out loud. [break][break]

She pauses her music and looks around, she had heard someone call out to her to try and warn her. Ariel, the Primarina rushes to her side and nudges Melody with her head and coo's and tries to gain praise for her quick thinking. Melody smiles at her and rubs her favorite spot on her head. "Yes yes you did amazing, and your vocals were spot on with that attack." [break][break]

She looks around trying to spot where that noise came from and waves to the woman "OIIIII! What are you doing up there? It isn't safe here!" she warns her "You should get outta her-" she says as suddenly the ground starts to shake and a stampede of pokemon starts to rush.[break][break]

As soon as ollie morales calls out to Melody on comms, her focus was broken. She's struck by the electricity emitted from that wretched sun. [break][break]

She's protected from lethal harm thanks to her sygnasuit, however her noivern faints immediately from the strike. Thankfully a special guest to this event saved Melody just in the nick of time. Eva Morales comes to her aid and swoops in on Rayquaza to save her from the lethal fall, she recoops herself just in the nick of time to recall Noivern into the safety of it's pokeball. [break][break]

"Thanks Eva, any idea what's going on here?" she asks her as Melody pulls out a new pokeball. She had to answer legendary strength with her own powerful arsenal if they stood any chance here. [break][break]

"Meloetta! Let's get to work!" she calls out as Melody had asked for Meloetta to join her for this exact reason, ro assist her with the anomolies that plagued hoenn. She pulls back her raises the pokeball into the air as DYNAMAX ENERGY from the POWER SPOT on MT CHIMNEY and sends out the pokeball as Meloetta emerges and causes the ground to shake as she lands. "Eva let's go handle groudon, maybe if we defeat him the sun will go away!" she says as Meloetta looks towards groudon and Melody notices the strange lump on it's neck. [break][break]

"Max strike! Max air stream!" she orders as Meloetta raises one hand and lowers the other as she claps her hands. From the left, the MAX STRIKE rushed towards groudon and from the right side the AIR STREAM collides into groudon as well. The airstream sought to boost the speed of her allies and clear some of the soot from the area while the max strike aimed to slow down groudon's movements.

She looks at Kyle as he talks about Keldeo hunting down the Paradox pokemon and them being tired afterwards. "You're probably right, we got to hurry." she says as Maksim sniffs the piece of metal it found. He sniffs the piece of metal before barking at Kyle twice trying to bite at his shoe for a moment before Melody redirect him. [break][break]

The dog eventually starts his job again. Eventually the group happens upon a strange boulder with a strange mark on it that blocks their path. "What the hell? what is this random ass rock here?" maksim paws at the rock trying to get by but it proved fruitless. No matter how much he dug the boulder was just too tough to break. [break][break]

"Alright Mr volatile, You're up." she says as she looks to Matias.

Tinkaton, tiny little pink menaces on their own with no assistance. Now factor in the strange poison that's been going around, the iron like thorns on their hammers and suddenly they're an even bigger nuisance than before. Now also factor in Melody feeling unwell from all these poison chains going around, her sygnasuit really was unable to fend off the poison correctly. [break][break]

However, she was duty bound to respond to the problems that hoenn faced. She sends out her skeledirge, and suddenly it terastalizes with no warning, despite the fact that Melody didn't terastalize it. "What the actual fuck is going on here?!" she whines as suddenly she throws an arm out and just rolls with the punches. A tinkaton rushes towards her skeledirge, attempting to use smack down. [break][break]

However the terastalization enhanced attack of TORCH SONG manages to instantly burn the tinkaton and push it back, burning away the chain as much as it could. "Keep it up!"

Mechanical Melody's body vibrates as SCREAMTAIL uses HYPERVOICE after the PSYCHIC FANGS on the mechanical copy of primarina. The primarina explodes upon such a close up attack and shatters and mechanical melody frowns. The bits and baubles that covered her body began to burst and shatter with the frequency with which scream tail attacks [break][break]

The Mechanical melody mouths something to her, the screamtail's voice drowning out all of the sound in the area as it starts to slip away quickly and suddenly. She had planned this entire thing from the start. Just like that they were left in the dust that remained from their fight and Melody stared at the remains of the mechanical primarina. [break][break]

She felt conflicted, this robot seemed to be a lot more advanced than the one compared to when her and Michael Navidson first came here...was it cause she had been spending so much time in the kingdom? What was it going to do? Would it try to leave and attack her in Hoenn? She begins to spiral a bit but the rest of parker jones's fight draws her back to reality. "Hey!" she says rushing back to the woman's side, trying to find any kind of distraction to stop her from thinking in such a way. [break][break]

"You ok? You're hurt!" she says commenting on parker's marks from the fist fight as she looks to the doll in front of her "Oh hey! Another Magearna that's awake. Volcanion's been active lately.." she says as it seems parker was gaining a new friend, in the meanwhile. Melody sends out her gardevoir to tend to parker with a HEAL PULSE.

Taking the information she learned from her previous encounter with these poisoned Pokémon. She felt more prepared this time as this time she brought her reuniclus with overcoat to protect itself and resist the poison as much as it could. [break][break]

A massive venasaur appeared in front of them and Melody saw that the others were handling it pretty well so she raised her hands in the area "Everyone! Come over this way! Reuniculus push away any threats to their safety!" she orders as the reuniclus uses PSYCHIC to push away any of the dust coming towards them. [break][break]

The dust was harmless against the OVERCOAT ability reuniclus activated, it's gelatinous shell protecting it from harm. What a peculiar phenomenon

She was bumping to jams on her headphones and minding her business. She had start to become more comfortable exploring this area by herself and given her status as elite 4 she had express permission to walk around alone. [break][break]

Not that she really needed it, she'd have come by herself anyways if she didn't sense any danger from it. Meloetta floated alongside her as the pokemon wanted to find some inspiration for singing and this area gave hugeeeeeee fantasy vibes with all the crystals and strange things. [break][break]

She couldn't really help but feel that she was being watched.[break][break]

Totally the wrong time to be thinking of this but Melody wanted to post on social media about not needing a black and white filter. But as soon as she tried to pull out her phone she quickly put it away again as streaks of corrupted lightning flew through the sky towards her.

Noivern just barely managed to dodge it. Arc of electricity spreading out still strike noivern but the main blast was missed. Melody's hair began to fuzz up but it calmed itself as she witnesses rayquaza come into the area and try to LOCK DOWN the area around them. Yet soemthing strange began to occur, the black sun was not removed. In fact it got only stronger as it continued to rain hell fire down upon Melody and Eva. "Eva what's going on?! Is this matias?!"[break][break]

Streaks of lightning attempt to strike at Noivern again and he starts to dodge away. The streaks chase after him and melody wasn't the most adept at flying so she just grabs on for dear life and prays she doesn't fall. [break][break]

They fly into the clouds of soot erupting into the air and hold their breath as she tries to buy time to think of something. [break][break]

"Rayquaza cant remove that sun...its firing at us, we gotta handle that thing first boy." she says patting her noivern on his neck "AIR SLASH!" she orders as the cloud of soot is cleared as noivern channels gusts of winds into his wings and sends them careening towards the electricity strikes chasing him and towards the BLACK SUN. [break][break]

She started being unable to tell if the hairs standing on the back of her neck were from the electricity..or something watching her.

She had no idea he was this adept of a battler. She was thoroughly impressed with him so far, the tier 1 of the sygnasuit's abilities enhancing her oricorio did frighteningly little to stop Cian from fighting back against her. They also knew instinctively to target the gardevoir as she was the main attacking force, Oricorio being the back up dancer for this duet. However, they didn't do very much to stop her up until this point so she was free to act while gardevoir back pedal'd. [break][break]

However something was nagging her in the back of her mind. His manner of speaking changed, Cian and Melody knew each other pretty well from their dates. But this didn't feel like him, was he putting on a show for the cameras? "Oricorio! Support your gal!" she orders as the pokemon suddenly starts to move strangely as the eccentric diva was about to leave this battle up to luck.[break][break]

As gardevoir took the brunts of their attacks she grew weaker, but he staggered stepped became also funky as Oricorio and Gardevoir used TEETER DANCE (thanks to dancer) confusing Cians team, the downside she confused her own pokemon. [break][break]

"Now what?! FIRE BACK!" she orders as Melody's gardevoir tries to stave off the confusion and unleash a psychic attack against the closest opponent. [break][break]
