She shocked, just for voicing disapproval of their meal they're killed in a gruesome matter. She's sick to her stomach as chunks of flesh plop onto the floor. She falls back from the bars holding her in from disgust as it seems like Amor Rose was unaffected by such a scene. However, she bites her tongue at his comments "At least I need to be drugged to become a hinderance." she says as she was well aware of the smart ass mouth he had on him. [break][break]

As he suggests to her to only eat a piece of the mochi, she hesitates as she's being watched. She had to be careful, this stuff was similar to the nihilego toxin that her mother had injected into her. Most likely not from a nihilego but a poison nonetheless, she was faced with an impossible choice. Either eat the mochi and become a slave, or resist and die like the others. [break][break]

She glances back at the prisoner who escaped, looking closely at his body to see if there was any hint of more information. However she just sees a pool of blood, chunks of flesh, and the screams of anguish from his cell mate and she makes her decision. [break][break]

She eats the mochi "Look, they're watching us and like you said, if they can read our thought's they'll see through our deceptions." she replies back "Maybe we just play along as best we can. I dislike you with every fibre of my being but im currently in a forgiveness era." she says as her recent run in with MATIAS SILPH on the mountain was evidence enough. [break][break]

"The only way we'll ever survive is together." she wondered though, was the choice of her being with Amor deliberate or fate. [break][break]

She sits down and starts to work carefully, trying to not injure her hands (the money makers) as she uses her sharp eyes to sort out the gems as best she could. The promise of a visit to that chamber sounded interesting and could provide more information on what was going on. [break][break]

Melody raises her arms up instinctively to try and save herself from the pain she was about to feel but a divine creature intervenes in her fate. "Thank you" she tells mew as it worked in tandem with Meloetta to disperse the shards that were threatening their life.

She grins as the sun momentarily droops down, she had managed to strike it down. But as Matias rises so did the sun, she barely recognized him at this point. She could understand his pain, losing yourself to this thing, losing autonomy of yourself while you're a prisoner in your own body. [break][break]

She was the only one who could understand him, understood how far he fell down. She HAD to be the one to save him, not Ollie, Not Eva, Not the others supporting their cause. Her. [break][break]

"One for all." she says as she recalls Meloetta and sends out her oricorio as she dons her sygnasuit and uses MIRROR MOVE on ollie morales 's dragonnite. "AND ALL FOR ONE." she says as Melody dashes right towards Matias. Her JOY at her realization speeds her up further and lowers her strength. As she runs towards him, she feels as if time slows down for her unable to tell if it's because of the speed at which she moved or the adrenaline rushing through her mind as she begins to think. [break][break]

Her relationship with him was so complicated, he saved her from rocket's clutches while she was kidnapped, killed her Pokémon for his own gain, saved her from the neurotoxin implanted in her mind that held her hostage, killed her lover's Pokémon. Yet some part of her still cared for him, some part of her refused to let go of the man he used to be. [break][break]

She jumps, Oricorio sending a flurry of feathers towards them to try and shield her from an attack that might go her way while also weakening Matias's body. "MATIAS!" she yells as she rushes towards him "HOW LONG ARE YOU GONNA LET THIS THING CONTROL YOU?" she yells at him. [break][break]

"REMEMEBR OUR PROMISE?" she calls out as she makes a jump to try and leap to him with an arm stretched out "I told you, "you saved me...I save you now" Don't die on me now when I just started forgiving you. Please!

The dynamax'd meloetta begins to shrink in size and Melody recalls her into her pokeball. [break][break]

She re-summons the Meloetta next to her and holds her tight as the pokemon starts to feel exhausted. Was this hopeless? Was there no way they could stop this from happening? No, NO she refused. When he yells at them to die she protests back as the precipice blades rush towards her. [break][break]

"Fight back against his words! Meloetta sing and relic song together! Please!" she begged as she wondered if imbuing the ancient symphony with the power of sleep would be enough to lull Matias and Groudon into a sleep as the song manifests as a powerful force that fights back against the precipice blades and the black sun. [break][break]

Melody grabs onto Eva and prays that the doctor had some idea on how to put an end to all of this. She flinches as she prepares herself for the worst case scenario. [break][break]

She immediately reaches fro her pokeballs only to find no purchase. There was no pokemon with her at the moment, she sensed cobalion was FAR away and unable to come to her aid. "Of course I get locked up in a cell with you of all people in this fucking country."[break][break]

But it seems he was also an unwilling visitor of this...jail cell. "Wonderful, trapped in a new hell hole with my FAVORITE person in the world. HEY! YOU" she screams out to the guards and points to a specific one. "What's going on?!" [break][break]

The battle rages on, yuina's bond with her samurott was tested to the very limits as the scene shifts to Melody's primarina getting launched back into a corner. Just before Primarina faints to hide the victory from Yuina. "Alright alright! Your bond is strong! I surrender" she says with a grin on her face as she tries to make light of the situation. She smiles at the girl "You got potential girl! Your bond is SUPER strong so you def deserve this." she says as she tosses the precious stone to her "With that you should have everything else you need to get your sygnasuit. However, the torture proved an effective method to deal with her teeter dance and musical attacks. He was bopping and weaving through it all. [break][break]

Both attacks break through her defenses and land onto gardevoir, and to melody's surprise she goes down. Shit shit shit, this battle was his for the taking. Melody panics and orders oricorio to end it all. "Revelation dance! take them down now before the song ends!" she prays, however she had a feeling she already knew the outcome of this match

"Furfrou! Odor sleuth!" she orders as the pokemon doesn't obey at first. It panics because it's beautiful coat was getting covered in mushrooms and melody frowns. Damn dog. "Primarina get it off of him please." she says as primarina unleashes an ICY WIND. [break][break]

The mushrooms on the creature freeze, it's coat protecting it from the ice as furfrou now can focus on sleuthing out which are the real pokeballs and the fake ones and barks to primarina. However, melody realized it was pointless due to how she battles. "Hyper voice!" she orders as the room reverbs and the hidden ammonguses started to shriek out from the attack.[break][break]

After the attacks slowed down, Melody bent over and found a beautiful dive ball that rolled to her feet. "Score!" she exclaims as suddenly she scoops it up. No one would miss it right? It would be a comission for this job.

Before she bolts off as she had been called over to deal with a shipment of amoongus who had snuck onto a cargo ship in the league's territory.[break][break]

The horrors of these toxic chains had begun to wear down on her. it had been so much time already but they were unable to figure out what the fuck the source of all this was. [break][break]

"Rabsca.." she says as she looks upon it sadly, unaware of the fate that had befallen it's offpsrings. Her skeledirge wanders over to her side again, offering it's support to her as it uses DIG and decides to handle the rabsca on his own. [break][break]

Skeledirge digs underneath the rabsca, right past the pitfalls created by the TRAPINCH in the area as rabsca targets Melody instead and steals her speed but it mean't nothing. [break][break]

Skeledirge emerges from underneath the pokemon and sends it flying into the air as it uses TORCH SONG to burn away the chains on it's body in one fell swoop. After all was said and done she felt strange still. She gathered some rocks in the area and had skeledirge help her make a makeshift grave to honor the pokemon's memory.

Melody arrives to the tunnel and is in shock as a pit forms in her stomach. What the fuck were they all doing? They would die! Melody walks forward but she stops in her tracks again. She wanted to be brave, she wanted to save them from a similar fate they had shared in the past. [break][break]

What madeleine would have done with a poison like this...[break][break]

Meloetta and Cobalion both snap her out of it, placing a hand on both of them and leaning in for support. She starts to feel sick again but sits on cobalion. "Alright guys, we're saving them all here." He draws his SACRED SWORD, rushing towards the statue. The trainers and their pokemon move to stop them but Meloetta intervenes as they join together in song as Melody has meloetta use SING.
to knock them out quickly before they hurt themselves more. Cobalion rushes forward and destroys the statues with blazing speed and strength in one fell swoop. [break][break]

then suddenly, they all pass out and the chains start to dissipate from some of the trainers and the others sleep soundly. Hopefully when they woke up it would've all just been a bad dream.
