Her question echoed in his head, and Killian glanced at her, confused. Not alone? She couldn't possibly be referring to - Deoxys writhed, blaring alarms at the sudden intrusion. The panic's so intense it blows Killian's train of thought off the tracks and onto its side. [break][break]

Impossible, Killian thought. He and Deoxys couldn't be that connected. They shared a body but not a brain. Surely his thoughts, his mind, were his and his alone. [break][break]

Killian stopped in front of the salon, brow crumpling like someone punched him in the gut. "I...no, I'm not. But you don't need to worry about that." didn't she, though? Deoxys wanted nothing to do with her. Killian could feel it wanting to push on her mind. [break][break]

The admin took a deep breath and straightened his face. "She's a child, harmless. Worry about the people in the building. They mean us more harm than her." [break][break]

Doubt but a willingness to listen. Deoxys settled, but the pressure of its presence remained. [break][break]

Taking another breath, Killian tugged on the salon door but met resistance. Of course, it's locked. Good thing taught him how to pick one. "Are you okay?" he whispered while working on the door.
