They stepped out into the open air, and Killian went to take a deep breath but stopped, remembering they were next to the musky ocean. His face scrunched. Right. Hopefully, Lulu didn't have him out here too long.

A dark brow arched at the ravenhead and her sudden edge. "You're welcome." dry, Killian opted not to press.

He listened to her explanation, impressed. "That's smart." Killian praised, "I wouldn't have thought to use Magnezone in that way." but now that she'd pushed him in that direction, he remembered something. "They say Starmie can receive and transmit radio signals to space. If needed, we could use them." anything to help stake the odds in their favor.

Speaking of, Killian lifted the meteorite's briefcase, "What do you need me to do with the meteorite?"

"Call me bias but the only sake I like is Johto brewed and botteled."

Kanto came a close second, but Killian preferred whiskey over anything. When he started drinking, that wasn't the case, and he'd down anything no problem. That changed at some point. When that happened, Killian's not sure, but he knows it did.

His drink goes down quickly, but the glass doesn't remain empty for long.

"You make it sound like I'm going to cut off her arm or something." said Killian dismissively. What a horrible way to get information from someone. A conversation worked far better if you knew what you were doing.

"But you'll be the first to know if I find anything on her." They were sharing things for science after all.

Killian shrugged as he felt Lulu's eyes on him. "Did I need to call in advance and schedule an appointment?" he quipped playfully.

Thankfully, she didn't say no, and Killian watched as Lulu prepared the antenna. Lanes of light burned to life in a green glow at the flip of a switch. Monitor screens flickered, their subtle buzz drowned out by the churning of gears from above. Killian glanced up at the sound. Moonlight pouring in from the opening roof illuminated his face.

He whistled as the antenna passed him on its rise toward the night sky. "Hard to believe you built this on your own." and not because he didn't think she could. Killian didn't understand where she found the time.

At the mention of the box, Killian nudged Loveless with his head and nodded. "Loveless, would you mind?" The feline meowed and flicked her tail, reluctant but willing to listen. Psychic energy gripped the crate and lifted it into the air.

The duo then followed Lulu outside.

Did he want to go? It wasn't like he had much else to do today. Lex would be busy for a while too.

"Sure, why not? I could eat."

Recalling the bottle of whiskey, Killian glanced over to it on the stone. The bronze liquid hovered around the halfway mark of the bottle. "We can leave after I finish a few more drinks." he's already pouring himself another glass and lifting it to his lips.

"That fine?"

Killian drifted back in the water. He hoped a bit of distance might cool things down. When his back hit the stone wall, he stopped.

"I'm not, no." Honestly, it's hard to be scared of people you've never met. By the time Killian got to Hoenn, the Megalopolans were gone.

"Are you?"

He asked curtly.

"I know a couple of spots." when Killian didn't feel like cooking, he and Lex usually ordered from one of the restaurants in town. Hoenn cuisine took some getting used to, but he'd carved out a favorite place or two.

"The Torkoal Pitt has good burgers."

"I do too." Whispered underneath his breath, Killian added, "Because I need it." and he truly believed that.

Killian eyed the kunai, curious of what she might do but stoic in expression. If she planned to attack him, she had to know it wouldn't go well. Against Bloodborne, both Spinarak and the kunai were useless. Its hide would deflect the tool and be on her and the spider in seconds.

Naganadel ceased to move once Allrainne stepped in front of Killian. The same hunger that fueled its gluttonous stare at her Spinarak now cast itself on the assassin. Try something. Bloodborne shuddered, begging - daring for her to attack.

The kunai flies with precision aim but not at them, at a Jinx. Striking true, the tool pierces the psychic-type's eye, and she wails. Killian leaned to the right and observed the wounded Pokemon. Struggling to remove the dagger and covering the road in crimson stains as she flailed. A gruesome sight, to be sure.

"That's impressive." he leaned back, "There are a few people I'd be happy to see gone too." it's a small list housing only four names. All of whom wronged Killian in one way or another. Righting those wrongs didn't call for an assassin, however. He'd handle them alone. Two of them were petty grudges anyway.

Killian slipped his hand from his pocket as he whistled. "Hijack, come out here." an orange reticular device flew out from his pocket to beside his head. Floating next to Killian's face, the phone slowly vibrated to life.

Bzzzt.

Bzzzt.

The phone lit up, and Hijack's yawning orange face appeared on the screen. "Good morning, boss." It spoke in a groggy and static-filled voice as it blinked away pixels from its eyes.

Killian glanced at Hijack but otherwise ignored it for the time being. Diamonds focused back on Allrianne, silent in their judgment. "You said you were staying in Rustboro?" she'd called the place dingy if he remembered correctly. "How do you feel about moving?"

A hot dagger in the air, Lulu's sharp tone stabbed at Killian's nerves burning tension between his shoulders. They were bound to get here eventually. All three of them poked at each other, one more than the other two. Thankfully, after the last time, Killian learned his lesson.

"Clean your ears, Lulu. That's not what she said." he corrected, voice walking the line between stoic and curt. "I don't think it's an alien either, by the way." not the extraterrestrial kind at last.

"The Three Day War? No, I wasn't, but I've poured over the files for it. They're where I learned about Deoxys initially."
