Tyrunt played with the Chikorita and gave some advice. Even asked if it knew any attacks. While she agreed that only the cool ones did do more than just coddle them or make them be cheer leaders. Still, it never hurt to have some power or strength. Ty used some games to test the grass type, and training it, and also have some fun. Others soon joined them in the games. The dinosaur used many of the same commands as Houndoom to keep everyone in line, but otherwise played. Dodgeball and tag were favorites. Despite being known to be on the slow side, Ty quickly proved she didn't fit with that stereotype. Still, she challenged her underlings to do better, and gave incentives. As much as she loved being pampered, she wasn't above pampering others if it meant good results. Having fun was just the icing on the cake. If the other two wanted to be jerks, then they can just be excluded. Luckily, the Chikorita wasn't all defenseless. Just shy and really didn't want to fight. But sometimes, you got to defend yourself. And the little fella knew Poison Powder. That was very useful, and could be used if the other fossil wanted to pick another fight. The little guy was far from defenseless from what Ty could tell. It lacked confidence. Still, the dinosaur played with the others. Hoping they wouldn't have to be put to the test. But prepared all the same.

"Not all trainers fight." Was all Ty could muster unless she really wanted to fight. Also, her, a bully? She wasn't the one that was munching and terrorizing another. That Mareanie had a very odd definition of bully. Honestly. Really though, if that Amaura wanted a fight, she had the advantage. It would be more the Mareanie she would be worried about. If it knew a water type attack, that could be very bad. Nevertheless, she went away and started to play with the other Pokemon there. She also let them know that if they had issues with either one to come to her. Ty paid very little attention to them at this point. She was going to be a queen, and there wasn't anyone that was going to stop her. But as a queen, one must treat her subjects with dignity and respect. So long as they did the same for her. Both of those jerks deserved to be kicked out. At this point, more the Amaura than the Mareanie. But alas, she'd leave them alone for now. Hopefully the staff would have some actual activities for them to do...

Ty barked out a laugh at both of them. "Bring it on! Both of you! We're not in the wild. Clearly both of you need to learn some manners!" Luckily the distraction bought time for the Chikorita to leave and hide behind her. The Amaura, while disappointed, made the comment that she could do whatever with the grass type. But it was the comment about the leaf that made Ty snap at the other fossil. Then gently pushed the Chikorita away. The barbarians! If that was how the Mareenie felt, then maybe they should follow their own advice and butt out of others' business.

She kept a close eye on both Pokemon while jealously protecting the Chikorita. If they wanted to bully the rest, she was going to collect an army before they knew it. And then they'll be the ones in trouble. Strong as she was, two against one may not be that great of odds. She was going to protect her underlings.

Tyrunt was left by her trainer at this daycare place, where they can pamper her properly. And she had been. Now she was out to play. Only the little dinosaur was ending up being something of a police Pokemon. She may have been given all the pets and cuddles initially, but she couldn't start hoarding the things that she wanted to keep due to other Pokemon being jerks to each other! Just like that Amaura chewing on a crying Chikorita's leaf. Where was the staff at this place?! "Oi! What the heck do you think you're doing?! They said stop! So you better stop or I'll chew on you!" The Tyrunt stomped up to the Amaura. A long necked Pokemon that might have been her prey once upon a time.

Ty glared and growled, and was awfully close to snapping at the other fossil Pokemon. This was outrageous! None of Kee's other buddies acted like this! Maybe this group needed a strong pokemon like Kee's Houndour, now Houndoom, to take command and keep them in line. If this was how it was going to be right now, maybe she should start asserting her dominance and be the queen of the daycare! At least until Kee comes back...

The slap on the back did take him slightly by surprise. Still, he gave a shy smile. "I don't know about that. I don't have the physical strength for it. I don't give up very easily." After all, what the hell would his kid brother say? He wanted to be a reliable big brother. Although, he's gotten lost four times, barely tamed a couple of brats, barely held out against a robber, and can barely do farm work. Luckily, Finn was in much better shape, and the both of them were able to get the first one in. Still, with Kee going backwards it was hard to keep track on where they were going, and the pace was slow. It definitely took a while to get all of them in where they were supposed to be. By the time they were done, sweat soaked through Kee's shirt as he panted heavily while sitting on the ground. At least it was the very last thing they had to do...

While it did work, and he was thanked profusely, he just told them to run and get out of the city. Despite his mind, he knew if something like this did happen, there would almost certainly be no point in trying to bunker down. Still, the realism of this challenge certainly caught him off guard. He saw three flares this time, one red, yellow, and a blue one. Returning his Spheal, since no one was in danger now, and his Vikavolt to let her rest, he started to run towards the yellow one. If possible, he'll hit each different color. Not even knowing what each one meant.

The blonde started to move towards the yellow flare in a light jog. He only stopped to cough and swallow, maybe catch his breath a little. He might not be as ready as he thought. But it was still too early to give up. Standing back up after a small break, he started to dart around, keeping an eye on his surroundings and keeping tabs on the legendary beast. He took a shortcut through an alleyway, and over a wall using a dumpster. Ducking inside a building, he moved around the receptionist desk and into a hallway, moving towards an exit. Opening it, the flare was right there...along with a new situation.

Keenan was reading up on the legends of the Beasts of Johto...including the Pokemon Raikou. A legend native to his home region. It was a boring day, trying to find an open gym spot to squeeze into. And so far, no luck. Then he heard on the news about an Electivire swarm. His only electric type was his Vikavolt. So it would be good to have another one. And since he was somewhat close, or at least close enough to use his Onix to travel, he left to go capture one. That was the hope at least...who knows how lucky one can be on these swarms.

Kee watched with bated breath as the Ice Punch and reserved Horn Leech hit their targets. Even Trevenant was pushed back to the edge of the field. The tree even dropped down, even as the Hitmonchan also took a knee. Kee was surprised when Noah surrendered. Looking at his little brother, he noticed that Aaron was frowning, and also returned Trevenant. "I'll take a draw. But I doubt Trevenant would be able to take another Ice Punch. That took me off guard." One more attack exchange, but even Aaron wasn't too confident that he'd win it. Kee knew his brother was strong, but to come so close to beating a gym leader right now was still hard for him to comprehend.

"In that case, I'll the match a draw! My word that was nail biting! It almost made me go back on the road! Congratulations, boys!" The round woman started to bounce. Kee stood up, and both boys walked up to Noah.

Keenan was the first to extend a hand. "Thanks for the battle. I seem to have a long ways to go..." Aaron didn't say anything beyond a simple handshake. The smaller blonde had no intention of doing the gym challenge, but nevertheless, the fight was educational. Gym leaders were very strong. His Trevenent may be able to hold his own, but the rest of his Pokemon still needed training.

Unknowingly, the comment did sting a little bit. Even with his personal mantra, Kee was still a little insecure. Even his little brother chastise him for not giving his all. That youth was definitely a better trainer than him. They reached the shed, and opening it, was several five gallon buckets of food for the Pokemon. Finn went on saying that helps a toy designer on occasion, but wants to do more than that. then came the worse question of all. Chuckling pathetically as he heaved a bucket out towards the water's edge, he told the embarrassing truth. "Unfortunately, everyone is so busy. As soon as I see an open spot, it's taken before I can apply. Not going to lie, but I'm feeling a little discouraged."

Using the scoop to toss out food into the water, it soon became a flurry of motion. Water Pokemon and Ducklett gathered and started feasting. "Last thing on the list is moving the Mareep and Wooloo wool to the house storage." Again leading the way, the duo soon found themselves in front of several bundles of wool. Trying to heave one, it wasn't doing much. Great. "I think we need to do these together..."

Finley Black

The guy seemed to have a sense of humor at least, making Kee smile. At least he seemed pleasant enough now. Finn seemed to relate, having taken the job to fix up a junker car. He listened intently as he got out a list. "You're lucky to be able to do that. I don't have the brains to fix up old stuff...I got steady hands, and that's about it." And dance moves and a good voice for becoming an idol. That was it. "Says feeding the MagiKarp, Whiscash, and Ducklett. Food by the pond, in the shed." The teenager put the list away, and headed on down. He was also given instructions as to where said pond and shed was. What he didn't expect was the Rattatas using his Houndoom as a ride. Which he seemed perfectly content in doing for them.

Shrugging, he would lead the way. "Aside from fixing junkers, is there anything else you'd like to do? I'm trying to do the gym leader challenge." And that's been...a time. He still hadn't got a single badge to show for it. Not even a challenge really. He just couldn't get in an application before the queue was filled up again. Who knew gym leaders would be so busy. Especially with everything going on with Hoenn right now. He would have thought they'd be trying to toughen up new trainers or something as to be able to handle themselves. But what did he know.

Finley Black

Keenan nearly jumped under something when the next attack was so close to him. The blonde actually trembled a little in fear, kept going on adrenaline alone. He soon found an overturned bus leaking an absurd amount of liquids...and a fire nearby. Plus people inside the bus! Panicking a little, he took out two of his Pokemon, and released Spheal and Vikavolt. Heart pounding, he gave some commands. "Spheal, drench one side of the bus, then focus on the fire! Vikavolt, fly up and use dig, try to drain the oil and gas, get it away from the bus!" Running over, Kee pointed where he wanted a water gun.

Keenan climbed up top and told the people inside to move to the front of the bus. Vika, for her part, dug holes around the pooling flammables to hopefully get it to either drain away from the bus, or separate it from other parts that were burning. "Vika, to me!" The stag beatle rose up to him. Tracing the drenched part of the bus with his finger, Kee spoke up in a shaky voice. "Use Air Slash along here, then help me push it out of the way!" Even with his panicked voice, Kee would admit that he sounded more confident than he actually was.

With a jarring motion, Vikavolt unleashed slash of air right along where he wanted. Spheal was keeping close attention to where the oil and gas was along that line, and used Water Gun to swiftly put out the sparks that flew. Kee jumped down, and him and his two Pokemon moved the cut off section off to the side, slowly. Though after about six inches, it fell over. With that, both Kee and Vikavolt tried to get as many people out of the bus as possible while Spheal continued to use Water Gun and Powder Snow to shuffle flammables away from heat sources and put out any nearby.

The blonde was already exhausted and sweating enough to coat his shirt. Just what in the hell did he sign up for?!

Greyson Connors

Keenan walked into a very serene and peaceful city in the middle of spring. The air was clean, and the scent of flowers everywhere. The blonde was definitely glad he didn't have allergies of any kind. It sure as hell didn't last though. A green serpent came out of nowhere and started attacking the city. First with a deafening screech that made Kee cover his ears as windows shattered. Then flash into horror as the Pokemon attacked with a Hyper Beam all over the city, cutting swaths of devastation and destruction with only a few blasts.

The boy would admit that he did hesitate when he saw the flares. He almost just turned around and headed back out, saying he'd try for a traditional fight instead. Shaking his head, and hardening his resolve, he headed towards the red flare. He didn't know what kind of situation it was going to be, nor what kind of Pokemon he should use. The teenager half wondered if he should bring out Onix to travel faster, but thought better of it. He would just tear up the place even worse.

Kee wasn't bad necessarily in athletics, but about the only things he can do was run and dance (and sing). So he sprinted, moving around a car that had a piece of debris on it, after checking it to see if anyone was inside it, and kept going. He could already tell this wasn't going to go as he expected at all...
