The sheer amount of DYNERGY swirling around the battlefield was a dizzying indulgence. This, coupled with the sight of so many DYNAMAXED Pokémon fighting on their side of the conflict — both ROCKET and LEAGUE alike — emboldened The Infernal to act.[break][break]

The Loyal Three failed to impress in the face of their wards' combined opposition.[break][break]

However, Barnaby's hubris immediately cooled upon seeing a barrage of familiar-looking mochi flying his way. Well, him and his cows. A sidelong glance was spared on the MILTANK and TAUROS before Barnaby returned his cobalt gaze to the cowboy’s face, noticing the furrowed brow that scrunched his already taut features. [break][break]

“It must be quite lonesome out here for you, then.” Barnaby observed, sympathetic (though perhaps taking a step over the line of what was considered polite).[break][break]

Almost as soon as the words left his lips, however, a dull thud and loud exclamation from announced yet another drawback to the rancher’s day. immediately drew in a sharp breath, clucking his tongue like a worried mother hen as he released his RALTS.[break][break]

As Barnaby bent over to pick up the Safari Ball, he noticed a pair of little yellow paws beneath a nearby bush and a quiet squeak from what was soon revealed to be a PICHU. [break][break]

Perhaps the earlier surge of electrical energy had lured it in. Whatever the case, the small rodent was surprisingly friendly toward . With only a few soft words from the admin the PICHU was coaxed out from hiding and hesitantly accepting a treat from his upturned palm.[break][break]

“Come along, little one.” He cooed, scooping up the Pokémon in one arm.

The tension that had coiled in ’s shoulders loosened upon hearing ’s reassuring words, causing his entire body to slacken in relief. [break][break]
