Hajime and Nibanme got restless as they noticed an oncoming Treecko from afar, however, Kano is still standing still calm as she noticed another man arrives after the Treecko come - Apologizing for whatever the Treecko did since Kano wasn't aware of it. "You don't need to," Kano mentions it shortly and returns to what she was doing - Searching for wild pokemon. To her disappointment, she met with a wild Jolteon - A lightning pokemon that evolves from Eevee. Then an idea hits her, her Voltorbs are useless for electric sources so this Jolteon could serve that purpose. "Hajime, TACKLE, and Nibanme follow it with ROLLOUT. This is a pain in the ass when I have limited movement that I can use on her" Kano orders while whining, the two Voltorb start doing their action successfully and now the Jolteon has become weakened. Kano tosses her Pokeball and attempts to catch her.

Kano spares a curious glance as she listens to the story half-heartedly, a twisted fascination with a questionable role model yet Kano has no said to it as she also has a strange fascination regarding the biology of pokemon and explosions. "Is that so" Kano drums her finger to the table, "I'd reckon that family of yours sooner or later will find out your involvement within the group. When that time, you will face a decision either to cut your family off or cut us off." Kano trails for a moment, looking at her for a moment, and let out a sigh. "Well, when that happened - At the very least, I will still be around." Kano muses, looking away. Sometimes Kano can be seemingly detached when it is involving the intrapersonal relationship with others - However, Kano tries to take care of others in her own way.

Kano can only sigh when she sees the emptiness of her wallet and the thought of her debt also made her feels strangely annoyed. She shoves that thought away and decides to go to the Dining Hall where she could get some food before going back either on her research or for a job - She hasn't made a plan for today yet. A plate filled with steak and mash potato can be seen on her tray as she takes an empty seat and starts slowly working through her meal. Until Devlin come and take a seat beside her - Kano has zero impression on the woman, she sees her as like any other stranger; Someone who doesn't deserve her compassion nor hatred. Kano nods, letting her to the seat since she doesn't have any reason to reject it. When she thought that they will eat in silence - Apparently, Devlin is in a good mood and want to share her story.

"Is it?" Kano says with a flat tone, fully disinterest in the topic. "What makes it so special though?" Kano decides to prolong the topic since she might as well waste her free time for today hearing someone else story.

Kano can't help to snicker with the cocktail of choice that Alexandra Briarwood has made. Despite being a researcher who looks to what the future holds, Kano can be quite old fashions in her taste - The cocktail that Alexandra Briarwood choose for her strangely fitting to her by a mere coincidence. However, her mind got distracted as she listens to the melancholic tone that the woman has answering her first question - Kano's guts telling her that what Lex's feels right now is more complicated than 'lonely'. Kano let out a sigh, taking the glass from the orders and swirl the liquid inside.

"A man? Or maybe a woman?" Kano asks meaningfully, raising an eyebrow trying to prod the reason behind her loneliness as much as possible. The easiest possibility for someone to get lonely in this kind of party is involved with any sort of relationship. "Whatever it is if you don't want to talk about it... Cheer up, I guess" Kano tries to cheer her up a little bit raising her glass for a toast.

"If it just for the sake of having a child. I don't need to get married then, since I already have a daughter of my own" Kano muses, not really interested in the current topic and ignoring the bad joke parts. People would just laugh at her if she say that she dislike the fact of using 'relationship' as a lie. Suddenly, there is a loud crash on the back toppling down to the cargo to the side almost make it completely fall. If it wasn't that Kano suddenly take the wheel forcibly and swerve it to the opposite side of the momentum - The truck would topple sideways, it was a huge effort to do that especially when the road is slippery due to the storm. "Shit" Kano curses as she realizing what just happened.

The sedative runs out and now Garchomp is furious, trying to break free from the cage. She tries to CRUNCH the metal bar but it doesn't budge but if she keeps doing it - Sooner or later the metal will be worn out and she will break free. "Press the break!!" Kano shouts as she tosses her Pokeball to the cargo and releases Sanbanme. "Be useful to me and use GYRO BALL!" Kano orders while the Voltorb suddenly spin with high speed and crash to the Garchomp making her topples down to the ground injured due to the impact. "Call any of your pokemon now that has arm so they can administer the sedative while I distract her!"

"I can't believe that too. How fallen the officer's quality of today" Kano muse absentmindedly, showing that she doesn't really care about the police's performance - Especially, when Hoenn is in the current condition. "Fortunately, you didn't need to do that, or I would laugh at that bad joke," Kano notes the pregnant part on his plan earlier. Kano Iyona, the pokemon scientist that doesn't even bat her eyes when she experimenting with a pokemon beyond the ethical threshold, secretly holds dear to a romantic concept of a baby born through love between two people. With a deadpan on her face, Calem wouldn't notice that thought.

Kano squints her eyes trying to see the detail of the surroundings through the storms, "We are still quite far away, I believe. Hard to tell through the storm like this. But, the hardest part - Excluding this damn storm - should have passed now." Kano states from slowly to firm. In the beginning, she wasn't sure that they are on the right path but as the car goes slower - Kano was able to make out a silhouette of landmark that indicates they are on the right path. "I hope everything goes smoother now" Kano sigh, letting her back relax to the chair.

Within the cargo, unknown to Calem and Kano. The Garchomp starts to show a movement. The movement is sluggish and she still looks a bit off but the sure sign of the Garchomp starting to wake up becomes more and more apparent gradually.

Kano can't count how many cigs that she smoke and how long has time pass since she was there. The solitude that she was feeling bring her tranquility to herself until a commotion can be heard from the inside. Scream and many things can be heard even from her places, the chaos piques her interest as she flicks her last cigs recklessly. "I wonder what they are doing inside" Kano murmurs, trying to hold back a yawn but failed. Re-entering the building, she realized that she comes in too late as the chaos already dying down. Well. it is useless for her to go back to the terrace now, isn't it? So, Kano decides to go downstairs and hit the bar.

"Are you alone?" Kano asks one of the Rocket's Executives, Alexandra Briarwood. The question on its own is rather pointless as the doctor doesn't care for the answer as she takes the empty seat near her. Her dress emits a faint scent of cigarettes, she faces the bartender and orders a glass of rum for herself. With her goal to claim a position as the head scientist of the Rocket in the future, getting to know the higher-ups like her should be beneficial for her - She is still not sure how it will be beneficial but she believes in the small thing that able to create a great ripple. "There was chaos earlier it seems. Do you know anything about it? I was outside, smoking" Kano fills the silence between them with small talk.

Kano eyes darts all over the places looking for the pokemon that she is looking for or the pokemon that might pique her interest. Kano exerts three voltorb to float around, frantically finding another pokemon that shares the same species as they are. Their mind has been clouded with fear to the point of forming a mindset that if Kano owns more Voltorb or Electrode - The chance for them to die to get lower significantly. However, all she sees right now is a wild Sunflora and Arctozolt.

Kano touches her chin pondering while staring at the bipedal flower pokemon. Their biological body needs plenty of water and sun to survive like any other plant but to a certain degree, a non-plant creature lives longer and more resilient than a plant especially a sunflower - Does this also works for Sunflora - That thought is running through her mind rapidly. "Lila, in your opinion - If we deprived the Sunflora of any sun and water - Will they outlive a normal sunflower if it got the same treatment" Kano decides to shares her thought with her daughter. Sometimes, a child's mind comes with interesting theories.

A man greets her excitedly - Kano spares a glance at him and saw a man is approaching them. She doesn't really bother to answer the question that he poses since her cannon fodder of choice suddenly appears. Her eyes sparkle like a kid saw a candy, 'another bomb for me to use' Kano thought to herself. "Hajime, SONIC BOOM! Nibanme, follow it with ELECTRO BALL!" Kano shouts an order as they start to use their move to the wild Electrode that wasn't paying attention. Explosive sounds can be heard, pushing dust everywhere. Once the dust settles, Electrode is on the ground, really weak after the hit. With a smile, Kano throws Pokeball at Electrode then looks at the man since her mood got better.

"What are you saying again?" Kano asks with a half-assed smile.

Kano chokes when she hears what the man has to say. Thankfully, she wasn't seating in the officer's line of sight if not they would get caught by now. The grumpy officer stares at Calem as if weighing something, "Moving at the time like this?" The officer starts to get suspicious. Staring at his own watch, the time is at two in the morning and a couple moving at that time looks so out of place. Kano sigh and decides to throw some lifeline, "We came from a long way and if it wasn't for this stupid oaf not overslept and misread the map - We wouldn't be here at this time" Kano's voice is full of discontent and glare at the officers "Can we hurry this up? I am tired and I just want to sleep on a bed" Kano talks while holding a yawn. The timing for a yawn to come was perfect, her luck is still with her right now.

The officer gives them a final look but then gives a pass to them. If this was in the morning, maybe the officer that would be here will be more competent than this and check the cargo but for now, it is a blessing for them. When she thought that they manage to get out of trouble - Suddenly, a roaring thunder can be heard from afar and rain starts to downpour heavily in a matter of a minute.

"Great, now there is a storm" Kano states the obvious, peeking at the Garchomp once again to see that he's still sedated despite the commotion.

Staring at the windows, witnessing the slowly changing scenery as the truck goes forward - Kano occasionally peeks at the sedated Garchomp from a small window that separates the front and the cargo behind. Calem voices out an interesting question if their goal is to kill the pokemon - Kano could do that easily but I doubt any of her Voltorb is able to restrain the dragon pokemon without injuring her. "If you want to, go ahead," Kano says dryly without showing any sign of her to call out any of her Voltorb.

Suddenly, they noticed a little bump on their route. A roadblock has been set up by the police - Is this operation busted? Kano tapping the door with an unknown rhythm. Kano checks the Garchomp once again and there is still no problem on their end yet so what they need to do is to escape from the roadblock. "This would be a problem. How good you are with words? We need to trick them in any way. Don't let them check the cargo" Kano asks Calem. She is not that good at doing an impromptu plan like this - she prefers something that is fully controlled within her hand like how she runs her experiment that.
