Conibear falls hard and slams on the ground. She tries to get up but ultimately drops to the ground as the buzzer calls the end of the match. Unable to continue, Paxton returned her to her ball. "You too Yvaine, thank you. I'm sure Conibear would be eager to get a lick in again." he said waving to his opponent and her partner.

The power of illeana reyes's bond with Palkia shines through, the tipping point between Hoenn and White Kyurem. As the space deity gives the final tug to rip the mountain monster apart. Paxton felt his heart thump in his chest, relieved as it transformed and was banished. [break][break]

And then hiss heart thumps again as Joules knocks him back and Hopper panicked at the incoming HYPER BEAM. He falls back thanks to his partner, just to watch the searing beam of light as it smashed into his comrade. He doesn't see the impact, breath knocked out of him as he hits compacted snow and ice. [break][break]

Comms call out in hiss ears and he coughs and gasps as he rolls onto his side, Joules forming a PROTECT around him as he recovers before scrambling to Gunner Graves's side. "Cassidy administering aid-" he coughed into the radio as he and his pokemon surrounded Gunner, protecting him from another hit. It smelled burnt. He's on his chest. "Hey- hey stay with me. Where'd they hit you? Where does it hurt?" Paxton asked, steeling shaking hands as Hopper used PSYCHIC to help him move Gunner onto his side, Joules covering them with another shield. [break][break]

"I don't have any healing pokemon, and Lancer's backside is covered in 2nd degree burns." He could still register pain right? So at least the nerves were alive. Hopper TELPORTS attempting to go find help as Paxton pulls out his shadow Octillery to at least offer a small trickle of water. Paxton makes sure no skin is directly on the snow, before waiting for someone better equipped to deal with it. For now, he keeps check on his breathing and than he stays conscious, unsure if he's also happened to bash his head on the ground as well.

Paxton is there to calm her jitters, smiling at his friend in turn. "Yeah, it's nice to spar with friends." he said giving a little wave to the tired Eevee before giving his Mawile a good scratch as she pouted, the back head snapping lightly in protest. Conibear turns to face the Zoroark head on, eyes trailing its form before they lunge at her again. She's glows a resplendent rainbow, and Paxton nods, giving her the ok to transform. Her body changes and the two heads behind her snarl as their opponent approaches. Paxton's covered his ears to protect from the attack, much like the rest of the audience. Conibear is dazed and he hoped that wasn't blood from her ears. But she's somehow still standing. The power of her defense he supposed. That, or her stubbornness. She refused to back down, locking eyes with her opponent. The back head snaps and growls in turn while the front only set her jaw for battle. [break][break]
