At Sasha’s latest question, Andrea gazed between the two Poison types and the Fuecoco currently nestled in her arms. “I love all of my Pokémon, obviously, but this little one imprinted on me, so I’m his mama!” She explained, kissing the top of her son’s head.

Looking back at the egg incubators that had all been sorted out, the self-proclaimed croco-mom nodded to herself. “Looks like our work here is done! Thanks for the help! You and Pawmo are free to stick around, if you want, and if you have nothing else to do.”

Working together made things progress so much smoother. In a matter of minutes, all the eggs had safely been encapsulated. It would take time and patience for them to hatch, but the difficult part had already been done.

"Thanks for the help, Sasha!" Her contribution was rewarded with a smile. A smile that faltered somewhat at her next statement. "Oh... You don't need a human baby to be happy, you know." The younger woman pointed out.

A Pokéball popped open, releasing a tiny Fuecoco that immediately jumped into Andrea's loving embrace, growling happily. "This is Jalapeño. He's MY baby, even though I didn't give birth to him." The eccentric trainer said proudly.

She had not even considered the connection between Crystablooms and Sygna Suits. Those luminous flowers acted as Infinity Energy conduits. If the conduits were poisoned... "Then the person wearing the Sygna Suit could get poisoned too?! Or worse?!" Andrea fretted.

The older woman gave her a lecture about wrongfully accusing individuals and attacking them unprovoked. That second attempt at gaslighting would probably have worked, if not for the Hydreigon's constant hissing and growling. Pokémon were much better at seeing red flags than humans.

"I don't know who you are, but Chomper doesn't trust you, and that's enough for me!" The dragon maiden bared her fangs. "Wo-chien's not just a random Pokémon, so you're not just a random bystander. Why did you take that poisoned Crystabloom? What do you plan to do with it?" She demanded to know.

Andrea was taken aback when the other woman enveloped her in a comforting--if slightly awkward--hug. The woman's rank within the crime syndicate did not matter at that moment. League or Rocket, people experienced pain and sorrow in the same way.

Little did the Visionary know that she would have to make good on her promise sooner than she thought. At the dawn of the new year, the dragon would sow its teeth, delivering ominous prophecies leftward and rightward.

"I won't let that happen either..." The young PokéManiac said with a sniffle, breaking the hug first. "There's another thing... I think the DRK Triad might be behind the RKS Simulation. Do you know anything about that?" She asked the female scientist.

“They sure are!” The dragon-hooded girl beamed, sliding her own bag into the recycling bin as well. “I love all Pokémon, but I especially love Pokémon that look big and strong!”

Based on the high demand for Gible and Larvitar, a lot of trainers probably felt the same way.

“Raising them is kinda like raising a human baby.” The draconic cosplayer continued, while meticulously placing each of the eggs inside egg incubators. “A Pokémon is capable of battling as soon as it hatches. Doesn’t mean it’s good at it, though.”

While her Pokémon gathered around the feeder, eagerly devouring all the food that had been poured into it, Andrea noticed the empty bag neatly folded up in Sasha’s hands. “There’s a recycle bin inside the barn. That’s also where we keep the egg incubators. Follow me.”

While making their way to the barn, she addressed the volunteer’s latest question. “We mostly breed Pokémon that belong in the Monster or Dragon egg group, because those are the strongest and coolest! Occasionally, though, we get requests for different species, so we make sure to raise a wide variety of Pokémon in the ranch.”

“Buzz-Buzz, brace yourself!” Heeding its trainer’s warning, the Ultra Beast steeled itself for Hitmonchan’s fist of lightning, which didn’t do as much damage as it should thanks to it bulking up.

Andrea flashed a smirk at Noah’s comment. “You shouldn’t have gotten that close to him! Now you’re gonna see how he gets so yolked! Leech Life!” With that, the alien mosquito thrust its terrifying proboscis towards the humanoid boxer’s torso, attempting to suck out the opponent’s vital fluids.

Meanwhile, noticing the Chesnaught’s advance, Kokoro rattled her gold and pink scales with extreme intensity, the booming beat of her Clangorous Soul vibrating against the steel cage they were surrounded by.

Her body tensed up at the mention of the underbosses. Was THEO BECKETT part of the problem? When it came to people in the League who might have stood in the way of peace, the name ‘Silph’ rang in her head even without the sheriff needing to spell it out.

Whether Andrea was truly strong was debatable. She was highly competent to be sure, but in Hoenn, the only definitive proof of strength was beating the Elite Four and the Champion. That was a test she had yet to pass.

“I said I’ll do it, but… where do I start? My Pokémon can patrol the land, water, and sky, but they can’t be everywhere at once. You’ve gone to war with Rocket before, haven’t you? What’s their usual tactic for attacking?” The minor Gym Leader inquired.
