A large Slither Wing barged into the classroom, knocking several desks and chairs over with its clumsy girth. At first, the students (and even the teacher) were terrified of the massive moth that had come from the depths of Area Zero. However, after one brave child approached the Paradox Pokémon, they found out that not only was it docile, but also very fluffy!

Soon, Volcarona's distant relative was surrounded by newly converted Bug-type enjoyers, who snuggled up to its white, fuzzy coat. One little girl even styled its fur into braids. Now that was a cute moth!

SILAS BLACKWELL’s Luxray, looking far more feral and aggressive than Reiner, immediately went for the kill. Andrea’s shiny Hydreigon swooped in to defend the two girls, pushing back against the electric lion with an Outrage.

“Just hold them off for a little longer, Chomper!” The dragon-costumed woman exclaimed, activating her Sygna Suit in order to bolster her partner’s defenses with her BOLDNESS.

An answer was given, but the animosity from both sides remained. Words were being exchanged, but there was no dialogue, no attempt to compromise. That woman was on a mission, and was willing to twist the truth to make it seem as if she was in the right.

Regular Pokémon did not choose their trainers. That choice of words shed some light on the nature of her relationship with Wo-chien. She was someone deemed worthy; an avatar using her god-given gift to grandstand, to threaten, and to assert herself.

“If you’re looking for great minds, give it to Eva Morales. Give it to illeana reyes. Not to people who will try to turn it into some kind of weapon!” The draconic cosplayer pointed out, however she had a feeling her proposed solution would not be acceptable to the other woman.

Sometimes, aggression was the only way for some people to listen.

“Chomper, use Fire Fang!” Delighted that his trainer had finally ordered him to attack, the green-scaled Hydreigon lunged towards Wo-chien, flame-coated jaws all too eager to dig into that pelt of decaying leaves.

Instead of the Rocket scientist being shocked that the League also had access to the simulation, it was Andrea being shocked to hear about the DRK Triad’s infiltration.

She was pretty sure the white-haired lady from that one level was AI-generated, but what if she wasn’t? What if she was the same woman from the Tiered Tea Room, in the flesh?

“Them being able to do that is concerning. I’m glad you at least made a friend out of it!” The young PokéManiac remarked with an honest smile of her own. “What about you, Kalli? Do you love your new avatar?” She asked the floating eyeball.

The young woman keenly listened to him listing all the places that were likely to be hit. The Littleroot incident was, of course, known to the public, but hearing it from someone who had actually been there was much different than hearing about it on the news. Those people had families…

“If Rocket does come after Fallarbor, can we count on the League to help us? Should I tell my parents to move out of town?” Andrea asked, hugging her crocodilian son tightly. She knew by now how the council made decisions. If an all-out war broke out and multiple cities got attacked, they would prioritize defending Slateport and Ever Grande before anything else.

“Sorry, I shouldn’t have asked that…” The girl apologized, looking down pensively. Instead of asking about hypotheticals, she should be asking about the things that were happening right then and there. “So, about the chain… What’s that about? And what does it have to do with Dynamaxing?”

Shard or not, Calyrex was no slouch. That big ol’ head boasted immense Psychic powers that caused the Ultra Beasts to scatter, only for a new threat to manifest from the Poison Tera Crystals…

An unfortunate mistake. An abominable fusion between Blaziken and Golem, boasting the fighting prowess of the former and the stalwart defense of the latter. Those amalgam attributes did not discount the fact that it looked like a wingless chicken encased in dung.
