It didn't take long for their captain, Tam Fawley, to arrive and for Hailee to feel slightly more at ease with the group reunited safe and sound again. Whether she wanted to admit it or not, the Slateport squad here were the people she spent most of her time with. They were like family to her at this point, especially when she felt so estranged from her real blood relatives(except Fae Madden, of course). She'd been extremely worried for them when they had become separated so to say she was relieved to see them no worse for wear now would be an understatement.[break][break]

Valerie was truly on her A-game here. She was putting forth a stellar performance and Hailee couldn't be more proud of her. Her strike strong and her aim was true as she tore through rockets and megalopolans alike as they tried to interfere with those protecting the PRIMAL POINT. After her strike Valerie reverted back to her regular form before returning to Hailee's side. [break][break]

Hailee reached for her and embraced her. "You did so well!" she encouraged Valerie as she felt her snuggle against her. But their joy was short lived as Dialga's Roar Of Time rocked Littleroot to it's core. Hailee flinched closing her eyes shut for a moment before opening them to see what went on. To her surprise those around her, being Tam, Orion, Caleb, and Noah had their pokémon's form devolved. "W-what?!" Hailee questioned as she looked around in alarm. Valerie was fine but the rest...[break][break]

She didn't have much time to ponder on what exactly was going on before a giant beam of light shot forth from the PRIMAL POINT piercing through the sky, hurtling towards the meteor. It was blinding, even from this distance that Hailee had to shield her eyes. That was until an explosion rocked Littleroot's foundation so much that it caused Hailee to fall to her knees. Chaos broke out around them at breakneck speeds as Dialga, clearly infuriated, roared once more as it struggled against it's chains. [break][break]

"We'll die..." that was the only thought on Hailee's mind as she watched the lord of time struggle against it's bonds. They would die and all be caught up as collateral at this point. Hailee felt sick but what could she do? Both Orion and Caleb seemed to believe breaking the chains Dialga was thrashing against would be the best move, but what if they were wrong? What would happen when the enraged Titan was no longer contained? Would his fury not extend to all those gathered here? [break][break]

Noah also seemed to be wondering what their plan of action should be as he turned to ask their Captain. But wouldn't that be too much pressure for one person? It was certainly a lot of pressure on her. Tam was human just like the rest of them, Captain or not. Hailee bit her lip so hard the taste of iron filled her mouth letting her know she'd broke skin in her panic. Either way something had to be done. Hailee's piercing glare landed on the one that put them in this dangerous situation in the first place, rage building within her. "Him." Hailee pointed at Chef Quanto. "Aim at him." [break][break]

Valerie began to gather energy around her as a sphere of pink light began to grow as she prepared a MOONBLAST meant just for the man that was threatening them all. Regardless of what they orders would be they needed to do something before they all got caught up in this madness. If not, it wouldn't matter if they were League or Rocket, they'd all be in big trouble and Hailee quite frankly, didn't want to see things come to that. She had loved ones she wanted to see and protect. [break][break]

Hailee tapped away at the screen after checking her notes before pressing the button to print the ticket for her table. "How about some tropical Feebas pasta!?" Noah called out loud enough for her to hear at the front. "Sounds good to me." She replied with a grin on her face. Melissa snorted. "She'll eat anything you make for her Noah don't worry." she added with a laugh, "Hey!" Hailee said as she playfully hit her in her arm. "You're right, but still." She chuckled.

Noah flashed her a wink before disappearing back in the kitchen. At least that's what it seemed like he was doing. Just as Hailee was about to head back to her table it seemed Noah changed his mind and came back to her. "Once you aren't busy just get a table ready for uuuuuus... For the staff!"

Hailee chuckled and nodded. "Yes sir." she teased before heading back to her table. "Here you are my loves. I also brought some to-go boxes for you just in case." She said with a warm smile. And it seemed she was right. They were quite finished with their food but it looked as if they were ready to head out. "Thank you." the wife said as she took the boxes and the husband took the ticket and paid for it in cash.

He handed her the money and the receipt as his family got up ready to leave. "O-oh Sir, I think you gave me too much." Hailee said as she hurried after them. "No, no. That's yours." Hailee's eyes widened. "Are you sure?" She asked and the wife nodded and smiled. "You were extremely helpful to us, thank you." Hailee smiled and nodded. "Oh it was my pleasure. Thank you. I hope to see you guys again soon." she said as she reached out to fluff the toddlers hair once more before waving the family goodbye.

With that, they were the last ones to leave the restaurant. Hailee pocketed her tip and then went to put the ticket and cash in the register. She grabbed a bin and went to the table to begin clearing off where they were eating. Melissa decided to help her clean around the place as well so they wouldn't have much to do later. "Thanks." Hailee flashed her a smile and she nodded.

It didn't take them long to have the dining area cleaned in addition to cleaning the bathrooms ahead of time so they wouldn't have to worry about it during lock up. Once everything was finished Hailee changed back into her normal clothes and sat at a table drinking tea. "Ahhh, my feet hurt so bad."

Hailee sighed. "I told you to wear comfortable shoes." Melissa chided her. "Yeah but they're not as cute." Hailee said as she flashed her big doe eyes at her. "Don't look at me like that. You put yourself in this situation." With a sigh she twirled her ice around in her cup with her straw. "Beauty over function." Hailee mumbled.

Thank goodness Noah was around to comfort her when she needed it. Hailee was sure she would've been a wreck without him. After their battle had reached it's conclusion, and Hailee had calmed down, they decided to try and regroup with the rest of their team now. In the meantime Hailee's pokémon were quick to help each other out. Her Lapras being the swiftest to assist in healing her Blaziken since he had taken the worst damage here from that bite. [break][break]

The commissioner's voice pierces through the noise of battle that surrounds them. "primal points will be fired in... five minutes... pyre do you read me? are things okay there?" she pauses, "littleroot. reinforcements are en route. " Thank goodness. Fires and smoke where everywhere and it looked like hell had touched down here. [break][break]

"Lykos here. Is everyone all right?" she barely understood what Orion was saying due to the communications channel popping and crackling with static. "We should hurry and regroup." Hailee says as she grabs Noah's hand and begins to quickly lead him through the mess to find the rest of their friends. [break][break]

As they approached their rendezvous point Hailee would make note of trees beginning to bend and sway as the PRIMAL POINT began to power up? Reality itself seemed to begin to fracture. This was something that could only be described as a scene out of a movie. Unknown enemies approached and...was that Dialga?! The Dialga? The Lord of time?! That Dialga?![break][break]

Hailee felt her steps falter and her knees buckle for a moment before shaking her head and pulling Noah forward. She wasn't sure how they were supposed to stand even a fraction of a chance against a god like that. But she wasn't going to focus on that, for her mental health. Right now she needed to meet up with Orion, who she managed to spot along with Caleb. [break][break]

"Orion! Caleb!" Hailee says slightly out of breath as she and Noah join their other friends. "Thank goodness you two are okay." They had luckily managed to reach the pair just as reinforcements arrived. Hailee couldn't stay frozen in place, she needed to help where she could. Valerie was still in her mega form, luckily, due from their previous encounter. [break][break]

"Assist them in hunting Rockets!" Hailee commanded her Altaria. With a loud chirp in agreement Valerie would fly up to get started but not before a vibrant hue of pink surrounded Valerie and Hailee. One of the most beautiful creatures Hailee had seen, made up of diamonds appeared and began to assist them and empower them. The DIANCIE even aided Caleb and others on their side. [break][break]

Hailee could practically feel the energy and she knew as she stared up at Valerie that she was stronger than she was before with this power up. "There Valerie!" Hailee pointed at a group of rockets nearby. Valerie soared into the air and her beak began to glow as she gained altitude before nosediving towards the enemy with a FURY ATTACK.[break][break]

Hailee's favorite season was fall. Well, lets be honest. She'd probably tell you at least once that every season was her favorite. But now that she was experiencing autumn in it's prime she had to say that it completely stole her heart. At least until winter comes. The beautiful multicolored trees, pumpkin spice, apple cider, and most importantly, it was sweater weather. You know what that means. Turtle necks and comfy boots. Well, that and it being cuddle season, we all what made fall Hailee's current, favorite season. [break][break]

Better yet Hailee was being totally 'responsible' by ditching her student and adulting responsibilities and instead choosing to go hunting for pokémon with her older sister, Fae Madden. This was Hailee's kind of day. She loved the time she got to spend with her sister, even if she got on her last nerves. With work sure to ramp up soon she wanted to make sure she spent as much time with Fae as she could while she was here. [break][break]

Humming as she took a sip of her hot apple cider, she walked with a little extra pep in her step, clearly happy for this outing. "So, what are we looking for?" Hailee asked as she turned her gaze towards her sister and extended her cup out for her to try some of her drink if she wanted to.

It was a hit and Val did some solid damage to them too. With Noah's support from the ground with Stone Edge they managed to get some good damage off. But when the smoke cleared their target was gone. "Fuck." Hailee mumbled as she ran her hands through her hair. She hadn't wanted him to get away, but what could she do? She'd played every card she thought she could. [break][break]

Now that they seemed to be out of immediate danger, Hailee's adrenaline rush ended and all of her emotions came crashing into her at once. Her legs buckled before she fell to the ground on her knees. Her eyes began to sting which let her know tears would be falling soon. This was a lot to handle, believe it or not, for just a couple of normal rangers. [break][break]

"Y-you're okay right?" Hailee asked as she glanced up at Noah through blurry lenses. The words their enemy left them with echoed in her ear. What were they fighting anyway? They hadn't been informed of anything. In fact, they'd been tossed to the front lines with no care for whether they would live or die. [break][break]

Nor the loved ones they would leave behind. That left a bad taste in Hailee's mouth. She stifled her sniffles as hot tears began to stream down her cheeks. She wiped at her eyes as she felt Valerie land and gently nudge herself against her to comfort her. "We did well right?" Hailee asked between sobs.

"Haaa," Hailee breathes out a sigh of relief as the burning kick from Fawkes connects with the megalopolan's face. However her breath quickly caught in her chest as she watched him, no worse for wear, grab Fawkes' leg and take a bite into it like some sort of chicken wing. "Fawkes!" Hailee shouted as she heard Fawkes cried out in pain as he reeled before kicking off of his assaulter. It seemed he was willing to withdraw as well as he retreated back to recall his fainted poipole.[break][break]

"you two think you can make a difference here?" the enemy scoffs as Hailee rushes to her blaziken. "Are you alright?" she whispers as she pets his head gently. "You did well." She said softly before recalling Fawkes and turning her attention back to the megalopolan. "you're impeding your world's progress. you know little of what you defend." he summons a nagandel to his side before mounting it, almost as if he was planning on leaving. [break][break]

He had a point, though Hailee was loath to admit it. Still, she'd deal with that later. Right now, she felt it was imperative they attempt to apprehend this individual. He was dangerous and if he was allowed to escape who know what he might do to other innocent people. But who was she to believe she could actually impede this guy. She was just a simple ranger. [break][break]

Hailee reached for another pokeball on her belt. This time calling forth Valerie, her shiny altaria. "Even so..." Hailee growled as golden light began to emit from her jeweled earrings. "I'll feel better knowing you won't have it." As the golden light became more dazzling Hailee brushed her hand against the mega accessory, almost as if she was brushing her hair back. Light began to envelop Valerie as she began to evolve. "Give me eyes in the sky Val! Mega evolve!" [break][break]

Valerie echoed her cry and with a bright light shifted into her mega evolved form. "Go!" Hailee pointed towards her target. Valerie spread her wings wide as a beam of bright energy forms. She readies a DRAGON BREATH at her target before the beam of light spears through the air and soars towards where Velmos and his nagandel were.

Hypnosis didn't work, figured, but at least Noah picked up for where she lacked. His Earthquake halting the Sludge Wave's advance. "Nice Noah!" Hailee nodded at her boyfriend before turning her attention back to their target. It seemed their enemy was getting more and more pressed for time as she could see the irritation in his face. "sleep?" as he lowers himself in a stance and bares his teeth at Hailee. "try that again."[break][break]

With that he took off gunning straight for her. There was no doubt about it as Hailee locked glares with him. A cold shiver ran down her spine at his advance however. Her fight or flight instincts kicking in and telling her to flee. That if she got caught she would be the lunch this guy was so talkative about that. [break][break]

Ah, she was too pretty to die like this.[break][break]

Hailee grit her teeth as she reached for her pokeball. "Lilli come back!" she shouted as she called her politoed back. "Fawkes!" she called her Blaziken forth. She needed to stop this guy from reaching her. She wasn't trained in close quarters combat or anything. At most the only active thing she did in school was cross-country but that wouldn't help her here. [break][break]

"Burn him up Fawkes! BLAZE KICK!" Hailee ordered as she pointed at the strange drooling guy charging at her. "Gross." she muttered. Fawkes huffed as he charged at the megalopolan, the ends of his leg igniting in bright searing flames as he attempted to stop the advance on his trainer with a well timed burning kick at the enemy's face.

Her Hydro Pump worked in stalling the gunk shots fired at her and Noah even managed to get a solid hit on the poipole with a Stone Edge. However the poipole seemed to be built of different stuff as it wasn't really phased by the attack at all. Hailee's glare narrowed as their opponent continued the assault. [break][break]

"i'll give you two a headstart to run." He says as Hailee's hands ball into a fist at her sides, "i'm starting to get hungry." Hailee wasn't sure who this guy was but she knew she couldn't allow him to get past her and go further into the theater. "We can't let him get past us." Hailee said to Noah as their opponent readied their next move.[break][break]

Their poipole summoned toxic spikes around Lilli and Titan before a sludge wave was launched their way. Hailee didn't expect to have enough time to get Lilli and Titan out of the way, nor did Lilli know anything that could stop the sludge wave in it's tracks. "Lilli think fast!" [break][break]

An auditory cue for her next move. Lilli closed her eyes as her body began to glow, a blue and purple aura enveloping her before rings of light began to form and project towards the poipole. Lilli used HYPNOSIS in an attempt to put the poipole to sleep. Hailee wasn't confident it would work but hopefully it bought her some more time.

Once Marshall was finished going through his hair and makeup, an older woman stepped up to guide them to the next step in the process, Hailee's personal favorite part, the outfits. After ushering them into a dressing room prepped with racks and racks of different outfits to choose from she nodded, "Here, pick some outfits that you like," she instructed, gesturing. "Make sure they're comfortable. You're supposed to be playing in the courtyard outside with your Pokémon for the shoot today, so make sure the clothes are appropriate."[break][break]

"Well, that's something," Marshall said as he began to sift through the items on the racks. Hailee chuckled softly as she went and did the same. "Let me know if you need any help with anything. Though I'm looking forward to see what you come up with." she offered him a quick smile before turning and hunting for her own outfit once more. [break][break]

The instructions had been to make sure it was comfortable. But it was buffered by the fact that they would be playing out in the courtyard with their pokémon. With that in mind Hailee figured she should go for anything too glamourous or flashy. Based on what they were told the theme seemed to be casual. So instead of heels and frills she'd go for a more urban look. [break][break]

After much deliberation she grabbed a slew of items from the outfit itself to accessories to accentuate her look and headed back to the dressing room a little bit after Marshall did. Once she had the outfit on she checked herself in the mirror of the dressing room one more time before she gave a satisfied nod. [break][break]

Denim and asymmetrical cuts of the material were the themes of her ensemble. Paired with simple silver earrings and a silver ring she was giving playful casual. Not being able to distance herself fully from her signature things her crop top feature some slight frills but nothing too overpowering. It looked like something she would wear going out for a playdate with her pokémon and that was the ticket to success.[break][break]

She stepped out into the hallway leading to the courtyard after getting approval of her outfit just as Marshall was making his way out. "How do I look?" he asked with a bright smile before spreading out his arm to show off the fit. Hailee giggled and nodded. "Looking good." she said with a nod of approval. It was giving business man on a coffee run, but somehow that still managed to fit Marshall and fit the casual playdate theme. When going on walks in parks you saw all types of styles coming forward. Plus he had the added denim look as well which matched with her a little bit. [break][break]

"Shall we?" She asked as she nodded towards the exit to the courtyard. As they made their way outside they could see the area set up with lights galore and camera's position to capture them from different angles in addition to the staff running around as they still got things ready. There were prop tables filled with all sorts of fun items ranging from toys to use to play with their pokémon to some...wait were those water balloons? "Guess we really are going to be playing," Hailee said as Valerie chirped happily from her perch on Hailee's shoulder. Pleased that she would be having a blast here regardless.

Hailee had never seen someone like this before. Her stare shifted to a piercing glare upon their remark how they seemed out of place. Hailee gritted her teeth. She knew that better than anyone. She wasn't supposed to be here. She wasn't like everyone else. War had never been part of her plans when she moved here. Either way she didn't have much of a choice right now. [break][break]

She didn't have much time to think about anything though before they were being attacked. Hailee wasn't sure if she'd be able to properly react in time to avoid getting hit but she at least knew she could counter. "Lilli!" Hailee called out to her politoed who's maw began to bloat and fill with water before blasting a HYDRO PUMP towards their enemy. The hope was that the jet beam of water would serve to combat the gunk shot that had been fired at them prior.

Her nerves were a wreck but she was doing everything in her power to make sure she didn't lose focus this time. If she did it would clearly spell disaster and she couldn't afford to make the same mistakes she did in her past. Especially now when she had people around her that she wanted to protect. Luck was on her side it was seem. Her Detect was extremely effective and she was able to notice the approaching Chu-e Choi as he lobbed attacks at the group. Luckily their Captain was forward thinking and had prepared a Safeguard for the group ahead of time. She still grimaced at the impact of the sludge bomb on the group. [break][break]

Hailee didn't have time to even try to plan another attack after that before a piercing ear shattering shriek resounds through the area. The alert before the chaos. The shriek was followed by the briefest of pauses. The world seemed to stop for a moment. Even Hailee held her breath as she stood frozen in place, eyes widen in fear. [break][break]

Dread sinks into the pit in her stomach as she's left wondering what would happen next. What in the world was going on. Before, with a cataclysmic bang, time began to flow again just as everyone is knocked down due to unknown tremors. Hailee grits her teeth as the chaos seems to halt for now, but it's already left it's impression. Things could spiral out of control at any time. [break][break]

"Try to keep Rocket out of the theatre.” were the orders from their captain. Reminding Hailee that they still had a job to do. Pulling herself to her feet she swaps out Fawkes for Lilli again so that she could make use of the Rain Dance that had been provided from her teammate. [break][break]

"Someone is coming our way, Hailee!" Noah would bump her shoulder and pulling her from her intrusive thoughts once more. Hailee glared in the direction he pointed as they would LOCK EYES with someone they've never seen before. "Be careful, I didn't notice them earlier" Hailee warned Noah. In fact, she was sure her Detect hadn't managed to pick them up earlier. Taking a defensive stance she readied herself for the oncoming fight.
