Cade does not witness the scene with the sheer abject terror that a normie would. Instead, his eyes gleam with respect for the swiftness of her action. To the untrained mind, this was brutality. To those who had taken lives before, however, this was a merciful act. And had (literally) executed it perfectly with her blade.

Unfortunately, this also likely meant that was in imminent danger next. Realizing this, his Pancham WORKS UP the strength to grab him by the collar and drag him away. Needless to say, it isn't the most dignified exit. But, perhaps, the girl and the mercenary would meet again someday.

If he ever reached retirement, had no doubt he'd be spending most of it beachside. And, if things continued to go right from there, it'd be with a woman like by his side. So, needless to say, the one-eyed blonde did not hesitate to scoop up her offer the moment he received it.

I'm on my way.

He typed in response as the gagged and hog-tied criminal on the floor below him struggled to try and break himself free. "You stay put until the LEAGUE sends its rangers to fetch you, me comprendes? If I have to catch you again to get my bounty, I won't be so gentle with you next time." He adds, sauntering over to the kitchen sink in the dilapidated safehouse to wash his face and hands.

The request had been last minute, so he'd been forced to stop by a department store and buy some essentials. Not that he minded, of course. They simply didn't have swimming trunks, well... big enough for him to wear comfortably. Instead, he'd been forced to endure a pair one size smaller.

After packing the rest of his things in a duffel bag he carried, the Paldean exits the outdoor changing rooms before exploring the sunny beach; bare-chested and barefoot. And it's not long before he spots a familiar beauty laying on a chair nearby. He takes a moment to admire the sight of her again (like he always did) before approaching and setting his bag down.

If the large shadow he casts doesn't catch her attention, then the sultry sound of his voice certainly will. "Hey there, beautiful. Miss me?" He smirks with his typical swagger, leaning in for a quick peck before sitting beside her.

The WALL OF EARTH is shattered through the BULLDOZE of his flying motorcycle. and are no longer protected by it. This does, however, grant the former's Pokémon an opening for attack. Despite the fact that the tires are not touching the ground, thanks to MAGNET RISE, the PSYCHIC stills manages to veer the bike off-course in a dramatic way, forcing Cade off before it hits a wall.

His bike sustains the brunt of the damage when it crashes against a nearby wall sideways. Cade, on the other hand, hits a lingering wave of PSYCHIC energy before it casts him violently towards the ground. His body crashes and rolls a few times before meeting his bike. Afterward, the helmeted agent scrambles to pick himself back up again. Though battered, burnt, and bruised, he checks on the condition of his bike.

"Tch..."

Councilwoman had managed to knock out the engine with her HATTERENE.

But the fight was far from over, so codename SOVA reaches to his belt for a ball before summoning a ferocious BEARTIC. Admin had made her instructions clear. and seemed to be in a BIND, so it seemed to be up to Cade to meet the fair lady's expectations. He smirks, considering he's all the more motivated to impress a beautiful woman. "I'll separate them," He tells his comrades over the comms. "Beartic, ROCK SLIDE!"

With a thundering roar, the bipedal polar bear reaches into the ground below with both of its massive paws and claws out chunks of earth that it sends flying toward the enemy BLAZIKEN and enemy HATTERENE. The rock slide descends upon both of them mercilessly, trembling the earth below with a violent grumble. When the dust clears, might find herself separated from her comrade by that same pile of rocks.

Cade, in the meantime, stumbles towards his bike before hauling it up onto both tires again with both hands. With pained grunts, he sweeps one leg over to sit upon it and begins to try and rev it up again for a quick escape.

"Chin up, amigo," The one-eyed blonde responds to with a smile. "The best rewards come with big risks, don't they?" Though, on some level, the mechanic was right. They were probably trapped in here if they couldn't find some other means of exiting this building and world safely.

Alas, when asked whether to take the elevator or the stairs, is in agreement with and nods towards the latter. "I'd sooner trust that elevator to become our tomb than take us down safely." He remarks, leading the way onward with his Sableye clinging to his shoulder still. Once they reach the bottom of said stairs, a strange noise prompts him to grab his flashlight.

Thin blue lighting appears in the dark just ahead of them as accidentally backs into Cade. Instinctively, the Paldean grabs her hand and positions himself in front of her before shining his flashlight on the source. His beam of light reveals a ghastly, half-built STAKATAKA emerging from a pile of scrap like a zombified mechanical behemoth.

The light surrounding its body surges as it prepares an attack. At that same moment, he whistles at his Sableye and prompts it to MEGA EVOLVE before frantically shining his flashlight around the room. It finds another set of stairs nearby just as the light from his MEGA SABLEYE's gem illuminates the room. "There! That's our escape route! Vamonos!"

As his companion lifts its large gem to PROTECT them from the FLASH CANNON that is fired at them, urges his team to escape and leave the basement behind.

With permission from to go on the offensive, revs up his motorcycle with a vicious growl. "Hold on tight or hop out," He warns with a hidden smirk. "I'm going in."

Before long, the air splits with a deafening roar as his floating motorcycle dashes forward. Despite the SOLAR BEAM mimicked into existence by the MR. MIME, however, Cade does not steer them off course. The defensive measure enacted by is a problem, after all, and he must ensure to get rid of it for his team and the Admins that led them.

Nevertheless, the slight tilt he executes in an attempt to evade the beam proves to be mostly fruitless. Searing hot pain spreads across his body as his clothing briefly catches fire. The parts of it that aren't made with resistant leather disintegrate to reveal the extent of the burn injuries he has received.

Thankfully, his bike takes the brunt of the attack and proves to be mostly resistant to it as it BULLDOZES its way through the WALL OF EARTH it is challenged with. Whether or not it manages to trample over and in the midst of that, the motorcycle dashes onward to create some distance afterward as its rider grits his teeth in pain.

The masked rider laughs as he watches the ambush unfold, casting the box of chiclets towards the ground without a care. "Hah! You payasos fell for that?" He remarks, revving up his bike as he shakes his head. "I expect better of an ELITE FOUR and a COUNCILWOMAN. Tsk, tsk, tsk."

When the action really kicks off and a KANGASKHAN undergoes MEGA EVOLUTION, however, is quick to prepare. Keeping in mind, he prompts his motorcycle to MAGNET RISE into the air as a defensive measure against the EARTHQUAKE that comes for them. Unfortunately, it still manages to strike them and sends the floating motorcycle veering forwards as Cade struggles to regain some semblance of balance with the handlebars.

Once he does, however, he spins the motorcycle back in the direction of their opponents. "SOVA, here," He calls out to his TEAMMATES over comms. "Am I clear to give them all I got?" He asks as his engine angrily growls.

The masked rider looks up at the blazing hot sun above, his eyesight shielded by the visor of his helmet. Beneath its cover, the man smiles. This meant that the rest of the team was in a position to attack. Though faulty in its design, their diversion had more or less worked. At least until the BLAZIKEN belonging to flares up in a rather distrusting and aggressive way.

With a scoff at order, returns his hands to the handlebars of his motorcycle. "It's getting pretty hot around here anyway," He remarks with his thick PALDEAN accent, revving up his engine. "Wouldn't want our chiclets to melt." Turning to his partner, who has hopped off the backseat and onto the concrete, he nods.

"You coming or not, amigo?"

With a sudden roar of its engine, his motorcycle dives forward before he executes a sharp u-turn, sending a CLOUD OF DUST and TOXIC SPIKES in the general direction of and as a result. Now parked beside once more, but facing the direction they'd come in from, looks over his shoulder to regard the scene with a laugh. "Coooño... sorry about that! I need to get this baby to the mechanic!" He yells, slapping his knee.

Pleased to hear is alright, the mercenary smiles back at her. When makes his suggestion, however, Cade turns to the man and nods. "There might be something of value here, so might as well..." He replies, hands on his hips as he surveys the surrounding chamber with a single eye. Thankfully, the Rotom makes things easier.

Light flickers on hesitantly. Eventually, a few of them find themselves powered sufficiently, burning back shadows that had attempted to keep certain passageways hidden. "Nice work," The mercenary remarks, walking over to an office area sectioned off from the rest. Though he'd noted the worrisome look that carried around, he didn't feel he knew her well enough to ask what was the matter.

And, with that being the state of things, what was the point of even asking if she was okay? She'd surely only respond with an affirmative. It was the easiest way to brush it all off.

Nevertheless, Cade focuses on the task at hand, using his skills as a BOUNTY HUNTER to expertly sort through old files and documents until finding something of worth: a KEYCARD belonging to a man named SIMON PARKER. Based on the information upon it, it appears to grant access to BASEMENT LEVEL TWO. He turns back to his group.

"We're looking for a generator, right? Try basement level two. I just found a keycard that can grant us access." He adds, holding it up for them to see as he regroups. The Sableye on his shoulder grins rather proudly.

It took Cade nearly the span of an entire day to find the DRAGON'S DEN and reach it. Cave-spelunking wasn't exactly something he did often, after all. Nevertheless, he'd been told that visiting this ancient shrine was a must. Strong Pokémon inhabited the territory, after all. There had even been reports of ancient knowledge being passed down in mysterious ways.

FELL, his PERRSERKER, was quite eager to explore himself. Treasure-hunting was in its blood, after all— an instinct as primeval as its capacity to hunt. Shiny things and loot made of valuable metals were its focus. So, needless to say, Cade was surprised to find it staring up at a scroll of hieroglyphic-like text pinned on a shrine wall.

Fell would come away from that scroll with a draconic gleam in his eye afterward. He would never be the same again.
