ahem. man, i wonder who was thinking that, definitely not the corsola who was just watching the bat flutter up in the air, definitely not her at all, stop looking into her head. it's gross. it's an invasion of privacy, and she feels disgusted already. the little white pokemon keeps her gaze on the bat, and along with him, feigns disgust at the idea of any sort of work that needs to be done. disgusting. [break][break]

"ew." the ghost sticks her tongue out, scrunching up her expression and furrowing her brows. "that sounds closer to marisol.." she huffs, moving around to roll and tip onto the other side of her body, and to be stopped by the branches "she's always studying, or doing experiments, or working..."

she's about to say that they're on a mission, he shoots it down before it can even leave her lips. "i--" she starts, turning her gaze back to him, who seemed to be more taken by the pokemon and the sea. "i'd.. rather not." she narrows her eyes, leaning into the bench across from him. her gaze falls to the suits that are folded up next to them, but she shakes her head, as though to reaffirm her stance. [break][break]

"i.. guess i won't really have a chance otherwise?" .. how does she say it made her feel exposed? even though it's literally laying in a star position in the water. so instead, she grumbles and raises a hand to gently ruffle the bundle of bangs that cover the greyish eye. [break][break]

she hums, then she sighs. [break][break]

then she leans over, picking a suit up with a defeated smile to her lips saying "don't look, okay?" she removes the suit from the pack, unravelling it as she puts the patch down next to her in the seat "i'll dunk us both in the water if i catch you~."

arceus why is he so chatty? [break][break]

there was so much energy in him, and it's now where she's starting to realize how her trainer felt when she ever encountered someone this.. energetic. lord, help her. the corsola stays stationary, watching with a somewhat blank expression as the noibat does his flips and spins in the air. [break][break]

then he goes on, and on, asking about her trainer in his stationary flight. she's about to answer him, until he stops and bounces on his rear against the ground, and the corsola cringes, slightly, feeling that second hand impact. but he seems okay. okay enough to be bouncing where he sat, anyways. [break][break]

"... wait--" the corsola blinks a few times at the notion. a date? her? marisol fucking simone, on a date? the idea actually brought a small smile to the corsola's lips, and the white pokemon starts to chuckle into a soft giggle to say "mari? on a date? no way~" the ghost pokemon tips over, more to lay on her side with the branches to keep her from rolling "i think she's just working a lot, and needed someone to look after me for a while."[break][break]

she thinks on it a bit. yeah, that had to be it. [break][break]

"... what about your trainer?" she asks, quirking what.. was probably her brow.

it.. didn't look like he had anything against her? so it's okay to speak with him, maybe. the corsola was already a little thrown off having to lead and walk through with a bunch of other corsola the other day (all poking, and prodding, and nudging at the ghostly branches of hers, curse them). the white pokemon narrows her eyee, then sits her stubby little read down on the ground. "yes...?" the pokemon keeps her gaze up at the noibat, who seemed.. a lot more energetic than what she was used to-- or rather, he reminded her of a certain gastly, and another noibat she knew from ano-- oh.[break][break]

"ohh.." the realization hits her like a cuphant "your trainer is that... one.. guy, right?"

and watching the water up close (and not behind a screen) is still a little foreign to her. at his words, she merely takes another gander through the sparkles created by the rippling waters upon the horizon. it only smells slightly salty, but the air is generally fresher. her lips curl into a slight smile as her eyes lower again, looking past the reflection and into the depths of the water where her corsola sticks out like a sore thumb. "maybe, if my nursing work doesn't keep me too busy." a hand raises to the patch kept over her left eye, fingers prying beneath it to tug the white string away. dual coloured hues of dulled violet and grey-blue pensively eye the water. "... i'd like floating on my back in the water, more." she reaches over to dip her fingers again "something like.. losing myself to the waves, even if it might be a little dangerous with all the pokemon swimming about."

maybe two years ago, marisol would have blindly agreed and went with his words; hung onto each other like they were a gospel and he was the priest of this holy ground. she knows better now, and only shrugs and hums at his response. she knows a man who lies for a living isn't someone dumb, or stupid, but typically more playful and suave. they were always the most troublesome to work with. [break][break]

she watches, idly, as the ball contains the large, witch-like pokemon into it. after a low hum, she narrows her eyes, quirks a brow, and has to wonder "wouldn't a simple psychic or a pokemon with telepathy be a simple solution?" she asks so casually, watching as a furret scrambles its way through. marisol only watches for a little while before casually throwing a pokeball at the long, furred creature.

there we so many pokemon. so, so many little pokemon running around and about, playing, talking to one another; and what was she doing? hiding in the corner, trying to hide the little, ghostly branches in her body. eyes of white with the black sclera move around, hoping to avoid the gazes of other pokemon in the presence of a galarian pokemon. please, for the love of arceus, don't look at her. [break][break]

and lord only had one job, and now she was exposed by a small little bat pokemon. here she was, trying to stay in the bubble of her own comfiness, and there comes a bat, using the pretty little wing to just pop the bubble. great. wonderful. PERFECT. [break][break]

the corsola jumps where she stands, holding her undead heart if she could as he landed on her branch, gazing down at her. "oh my arceus..!" she jumps, settling down a bit afterwards, but stammering "d-d-don't do that!" the less than cheerful expression is ever-changing "y-y-you scared me half to death!"

it was bright. [break][break]

blindingly so, and a dulled, violet gaze squints at the endless expanse of blue. there's no need for her to go under the water, as she has her own corsola (a variation of it, white and ghostly, yet still a corsola as far as she can tell) splash into the unfamiliar waters. last she checked, the white ghost pokemon was able to navigate fairly well, although it wasn't all too happy to be poked at y the other pink pokemon. [break][break]

a single gaze maintains itself upon the sparkling surface of the water, and the ocean breeze blowing feels soothing. she's never been so far out at sea, and thinks that maybe she can get used to the water that chills her fingertips as she leans over to curiously dip them into the water, breaking the surface. [break][break]

"... no," slightly damp fingers rise from the water, back onto the boat, and she flicks them slightly, hoping to rid of any excess droplets "i think that this is my first time out on a boat, too." her gaze moves to the little speck of white beneath the water's surface. a small smile comes to her lips. [break][break]

"it's refreshing, though."

he's casual as ever, and she has to wonder what makes him so casual and laid back. especially considering that she's an ex-member. there has to be some kind of clause in place so that those no longer associated with rocket won't try to do anything, right? or maybe now, under new leadership, they're so confident in their abilities and force that they won't have to worry about diglett or rattata. it's hard to tell in its glaring hubris. [break][break]

"ah, yes" the wry smile is maintained on her lips as she watches a man run his fingers through the wisps of a ghost, who seemed to shudder, slightly, at the foreign touch. not that the man would feel anything, the poor gastly felt violated. oh, his poor, unfortunate, undead soul. [break][break]

"we both know you're just in it for the chaos," along with his own agenda, that she's never quite understood "and i'm relieved that the needlessly, elaborate mind still has a simple goal." otherwise he'd be even more dangerous, would he not? it'd probably mean more trouble. "and?" she asks, perking up slightly "have you made progress with your own ghost observations?~"

ah yes, the past. not something she thinks fondly on, but still something that likes to chatter, incessantly, in ones ears. take this man, for example; even though she's been long since kicked out and abandoned by rocket, he hasn't seemed to forgotten her (nor their shared love for ghost type pokemon, giratina bless his soul. speaking of which, "mmn?" she hums, idly glancing over her shoulder and to the man she walks along with. muted violet and greyish blue glaze over him for a moment before her gaze returns to the path ahead. "i wouldn't say doing better" a smile tugs at her lips, a gastly floating along at her side. "it gave me a lot of free time to myself, though. gave me the time to do a lot of my own soul searching."[break][break]

no, the irony is not lost to her. [break][break]

"and how's rocket? still trying to "play hero" in their own way?~" there's a cold bite to her tone, if you listen carefully.
