The man walked alongside him to the front of the line, tossing one of the Pokeballs on display towards him with a smile upon his lips. After just a small amount of debate, he fished (hah) for another spare Pokeball, lifting it up and tapping it atop the fish's head for safekeeping before setting its capsule aside to join the rest.[break][break]

With a glance towards the horizon, as well as a quick glimpse towards his phone to check the time, he latched a piece of bait onto his fishing hook one last time before sending it out.[break][break]

Truly, the event had gone by in such a blur that he'd found himself losing track of time, time and time again. With just a moment's worth of time to tuck his most recent find away, the Stone began to glance around once more in search for a proper spot to uncover. Before he could do much on his own, however, he found himself making eyes with his beloved serpent once more, roaring within the waters around them whilst careening and spinning beside him in an attempt to grab his attention.[break][break]

With a smile and a soft chuckle beneath his mask, he reached over to take hold of one of the Gyarados' scales, allowing him to whisk him away to their final find of the event.[break][break]

Ah, that time around, there was a bit more of a familiar face— albeit vaguely.[break]
He could've sworn he'd tossed for this guy at least once or twice before, but he couldn't quite remember if the throws were successful or not...[break][break]

Regardless of success or failure, though, it had been his turn to throw once again. His normal routine of greetings and warmups had been started before long, but by the second toss and catch of the Pokeball he'd picked for himself, he couldn't help but glance down towards one of his own capsules as it rustled upon his person.[break][break]

Before long, he found himself looking up towards a familiar Electivire as he broke free from its confinements, giving an eager and curious roar. The man stared before laughing, glancing towards the ball within his hold before offering it up towards the ape.[break][break]

Though there hadn't been nearly as much of a resistance upon the line as the others, he found himself shifting his feet against the wooden planks of the pier beneath him once more as the fishing rod lurched between his hands. He leaned forward to catch his balance, hues of hazel narrowing towards the ripples upon the waters as if bracing and focusing before beginning to fight the creature at the end.[break][break]

When he'd reeled the bad boy in, he found himself staring at a...Wishiwashi?[break]
