She glances to Zev, flashing him a brief smile, before reaching into her bag to pull out a Pokeball. "I've another test in mind," she admits; absently her fingernail taps against the Pokeball, a soft click, click, click almost ominously filling the air.

A Minior emerges - one of many in Nenet's collection - and she states simply to Zev, "Absorb its light. I want to see what, if anything, happens."

Eyeing the interaction with unbridled curiosity, Nenet nods at Zev's reply. "The initial reaction was likely a transference of energy that you felt, then. You've equalised now." Energy transformed.

"It's a bit like Mega evolution when you think about it. Its form changes and then reverts - a surge of energy causes it..."

Nenet hums, thoughtfully, and then reaches out without fear to touch Necrozma's wing, her hand laying just beside Zev's on the Pokemon.

She waits to see if anything happens.

Nenet's low voice answers with a single fact, soft and aloof, "You aren't a Pokemon, Cillian. You're flesh, and blood, and human."

She pushes the last bit of poison from the vial into Cillian's veins with that spoken and then immediately moves to detach the syringe and place the Antidote in its place. Her gaze cuts up sharply to his face and she asks firmly, "How do you feel now?"

"I think it's possible, though I feel like anything is at this point," Nenet answers thoughtfully.

Reaching out, she lightly taps the stone altar, listening to its dull thuds. Stone indeed, at least. "If this is Lunala's birth place wouldn't that be something."

"What was Lunala like when it first bonded with your colleague? I know Necrozma attacked it." Tipping her chin towards the altar, she adds, "Making the attack make sense. But if we know more about its overall demeanor perhaps we call lull its anger."

If Nenet succeeded at one thing since her wrist slap in graduate school it was slipping data away from prying eyes. It had taken some cajoling and promising that the recording would be in safe hands until Zev relented, something she was immensely grateful for.

Allowing a faint smile to touch her lips as Necrozma rippled with a brilliant light, she stared hungrily at the Dawn Wings Necrozma now before her. She did not look to Zev initially, stead asking him without looking in his direction, "Do you feel any different? With Necrozma now in this form?"

Meanwhile, Clefable sulked as he realised his purpose was to either Teleport Nenet to safety or throw up a shield and then Teleport them to safety. What rotten luck. He decided to glare up hatefully at Zev - the souce of all his problems.

Tipping her chin towards the hovering Necrozma, she adds, "Touch it to test as well."

Sea spray whipped off the ocean waves, causing a fine mist to hang on the air and neatly obscure long-range vision of the two figures standing on one of the many barren islands surrounding Sootopolis City.

Fitted with a helmet from Rocket's store rooms, Nenet carefully sets up a camera to film the impending tests with Necrozma and Zev. At her side lingers her Clefable, ready to heal or Teleport at the very least his trainer from any accidents.

Angling the camera, Nenet then calls to Zev, "Ready when you are."

"Very well," Nenet answers, her hands unfolding and moving purposefully to return to the task at hand. Removing the Antidote once more she slowly begins pushing the poison once more into Cillian's veins.

There's a tense silence, one filled with Cillian's gritted teeth and Nenet's vague concern at going down as a murderess. Nonetheless, after a few more millilitres she murmurs lowly, "We may be going about this wrong, you know."

"It might behove us to look into something incapable of being poisoned, like a Zangoose with Immunity and puzzle out the details from there."

Nenet feels little by way of emotion as the Loyal Three meet their grisly fates. It seemed Cyllora and the Never-Rot were next, but the next thing she knew the ship was crashing down around them and her heart leapt into her throat.

She's barely given a chance to think before she's being pulled into the Shard of Necrozma's arms, and she only just manages to recall her Pyroar before she's cradled in crystal. Curling in on herself, she can feel the weight of the ship's impact and hear the screeching of metal; it's only through the guardianship of Necrozma that she emerges unscathed.

She winces subtly as the sound of mindless Megalopolans fills the air in the distance - it's only a matter of time before they're discovered, drawn to the Hoennites by the hellish sound of the crash. Keeping one hand on the crystal-black Necrozma, she stands with unsteady feet until she stands behind Zev, observing Naomi Sato now beside him. Her masks remains in place, thankfully, continuing to conceal her identity.

"We should study them instead," Nenet murmurs, but her voice does not carry and she does not lift it to contradict her husband. Instead, she looks to her Clefable as he is released from his Pokeball, and Life Dew pulses through the area.

Busying herself with Apollo, Nenet politely glanced away from the register as the rings were tallied and stowed away for travel. She had a vague idea of the cost involved but little desire to confirm it.

Instead, she offers a warm, "Thank you," to the saleswoman and allows Zev to slip his arm around her waist. She does not lean into him, but nonetheless allows the touch as they exit the store together. "We'll have to look online for silicone rings," she muses.

"Lunch sounds nice," Nenet then answers. "Let's get sushi." At the suggestion the Rockruff perks immediately and wags his tail, ready for his own portion of the meal to come.

Listening intently to the saleswoman, but soon laughs as she finds a too-interested Rockruff deposited in her arms. "You're being a menace," she murmurs lowly to the Pokemon, who seems equal parts chastised and unaffected.

Her lips purse as the ring is pulled from the case and slipped onto Zev's hand; shuffling Apollo in her arms, she moves her now-free hand to lightly take Zev's into her own to examine the ring now upon his finger.

The jewellery glitters darkly as it catches the light, its polished surface reminding her of the black crystals often found littering Zev's skin. "I like it," she answers, her gaze levelling with Zev's as she smiles.

"We should get this one."

Much to her chagrin, Apollo attempts once more to lean forward, but his attention now seems focused on the dark band adoring Zev's finger.
