Matt got himself heaved up with the help of the pokemon. Falling onto his back on the deck, he sighed a breath of relief. "That was awesome." He said, almost laughing. Was he out of it? That huge grin on his face was just a dangerous one, or silly. Looking to Annalise, he smiled at her.

"It's okay! Just glad we stopped them."

Getting back onto his feet, he rolled his shoulder and popped his neck. "We should get those pokemon free, yeah? Sorry about causing you trouble. Guess that's what I get for going in not trained in this kind of thing at all."

Oh no, oh no, oh no no no no no.

Matt was screwed. Well, he was. Until something came and barreled him off the back of Nana. The canine almost didn't notice, but she dug her claws into the ground, sending her tumbling across the ground as she snapped her head back to spot what happened to her trainer- even if she was hurt from her tumble, she was more concerned for him.

Meanwhile, Matt was tumbling and rolling along with a arm full of some yellow pokemon. A scraggy? Yes, it was a scraggy! It had tackled him off the Arcanine. Why?! Matt wasn't really registering what was going on, just that his chest hurt from the tackle he got, plus the rest of his body hurting from tumbling across the earth. What was this Scraggy after?!

It was after his pokeballs, trying to find the one that the poochyena from earlier had been caught in. Were they friends, perhaps? Either way, Matt had no idea- just that the Scraggy touched a pokeball and got sucked inside. The fall must have injured it, from how the ball ddin't even move and no fought really put up from the pokemon. Or maybe it wanted to go with him?

"Wha.."

Everything was such a blur. Blinking rapidly as Nana came into view, whimpering and licking his face. "Nine?"

Matt was shopping for groceries for him and Nico. Shuffling as he awkwardly carried the items in his hands. Why had he not got a cart or a basket? Man was too stubborn for his own good. Sighing as he shuffled more, balancing some toilet paper on top of some granola bars. It wasn't until the person in front of him had stepped back and sent him stumbling backwards.

Right into poor Lulu.

Panicking, Matt tried to catch himself but he only managed to trip over his own two feet. Causing the items in his hands to go flying, and him right to his face at Lulu's feet. A TP landed right on top of his head, giving a quiet little plop of a noise. Huffing, he only laid there for a minute. "If I don't get up, I can act like this never happened..." He muttered to himself. Little did he know about the drama that was going to unfold.

Matt was looking for some way to get back on the boat, mentally cursing the fact he lacked a water pokemon at this rate. Looking up as the dragon type came to try and aide him, he simply waved. Knowing it would retreat back to it's trainer to assist. As he swam around trying to find some way up, he then spotted Nana leaning her head over the side.

She look so busted up and it hurt Matt to see. It enraged him rather, frowning at her. "Stay up there, Nana. Can you help out Annalise?" He called to her, she nodded. With a huff, the canine turned to face the girl and her pokemon. Limping over, she stood to tower over the others. Growling loudly to the poacher, eyes burning with that inner flame.

The entire body language was just telling him to quit this, going to place her paw directly on his shoulder to help hold him down. Snorting smoke from her nostrils, fangs bared, ready to snap if he kept i tup.

The dreaded chips. Oh no, he really made him upset to be demanding such a salty treat! Batting his red eyes at him with a puppy face, he just pouted. "Alright." He would never tell Nico no, so there would be so many chips at dinner that night. So. Many. Chips.

Letting the two converse, Matt turned to stare at Dagger. Giving them a look as they disgruntled the goat. "You know not everyone wants you climbin' on them." He huffed towards the canine, who only turned to stare at Matt with a bland face. Waving their paw at him dismissively. Matt clenched the imaginary pearls at his neck. "How rude!" The fake exclamation finally though, caught the attention of the puppy that had buried himself within the sands.

Kazzy perked his head up, blinking towards the sudden abundance of people and pokemon. Eyes going wide at the giant cat.... before his eyes went on the tail.

But he looked to see Matt and Nico getting up on top of Nana, whining as he ran over to them. Dancing around Nana's paws and doing his little dance to try and get up there with them. "Aww, there you are. Will you get him, Nico?" Kazzy kept whimpering, he wanted up high!


At Nico's question, Matt only huffed. "It was one race." The little pout could have been cute.
